From Our Bleacher Seats: Taylor Swift's "This is Your Life and Filmography, Jake Gyllenhaal", aka All Too Well

Summertime and the living is hard...so hard.  lol.

• Narnia wants to extend our congratulations to Liam Payne as he led his team in participation of Soccer Aid for Unicef 2022 which raised over £15.6 GBP for Unicef UK, providing funds to help educate, protect and provide for children. Usain Bolt was captain for the Rest of the World team, and the captain for the London team was our Liam James Payne!!  A tremendous honor.

Here he was at the line-up announcement presser, just prior to the competition:

Liam had to really be in cardio shape to run the length of the field, just like all the other players.  Not to mention learn the game and be able to handle the ball.  You make those of us at Narnia so proud, Liam!!

• This fan is right.  It doesn't make sense.

I can understand Tyreek Hill wanting a pay day and he totally deserves it.  He was a heavy target particularly last season, partially because Travis Kelce was getting held and assaulted so often by the opposition's defense.  But Hill (and his agent) have totally been gaslighting and baiting in his podcast and other interviews since he signed with the Miami Dolphins.  One has to wonder if there is more to it that he can't speak about?  I think anyone who plays for the Chiefs has to sign an NDA because of the theatrics and stunts which surround quarterback Patrick Mahomes regarding his personal life.  QB1 traditionally has had several willing teammates who help to perpetuate some of the away-from-the-field whereabouts or narratives, i.e. "bachelor party".

Just contemplating, but perhaps chapping Tyreek's hide is a thrown AFCCG?  That would be a heckuva secret to have to be quiet about.

Tom Brady has a lot of skeletons in his closet as well, but there's one major difference between him and Patrick.  Tom Brady is Caucasian and Patrick is bi-racial.  Having a white, blond wife and a stunt baby who looks like her and not Patrick, are not coincidences.  But the NFL owners are a tough group to please and will be interesting to watch the NFL's next post-season and see if Patrick and the Chiefs will be allowed to advance, IF they make the playoffs.

Meanwhile, Patrick's meard, Gehrig Dieter, has retired!  His team tried to make it look like he could make it with another team last month,

But, that was never very likely.  Dieter spent nearly five seasons with the KC Chiefs and never could crack the starting squad.  He spent more time on the practice squad and playing Patrick's "best friend".  Now that Mahomes has Matthews as his "wife" and they have the stunt kid (with another on the way), Dieter isn't needed anymore and has been relieved of his contract.  Now, his roster spot can be used for another player who at least has a realistic shot at the roster.  What makes the NFL fans different from those in the entertainment industry, is there are more of them who aren't fooled as easily and they knew Dieter was never good enough to make the permanent squad and called him out on it.  It's harder to fool the NFL fans, although many for some reason have blinders on when it comes to Brittany Matthews.  Or are they just acting oblivious on purpose because #15 is their dream franchise QB?

• Congratulations to actress Rebel Wilson on celebrating her personal relationship with a clothing line designer, Ramona Agruma via an Instagram post.  Unfortunately, this story also accompanies her coming out:

The story states that she was told she would be outed unless she responded to his questions about her girlfriend.  This just sounds pretty heavy-handed considering this day and age of compliant and enabling media.

The Sydney Morning Herald and journalist Andrew Hornery are facing major backlash after he wrote an article admitting that he was giving Rebel two days to provide a comment for his story, only to be scooped by the actress herself.

“It was an abundance of caution and respect that this media outlet emailed Rebel Wilson’s representatives on Thursday morning, giving her two days to comment on her new relationship with another woman, LA leisure wear designer Ramona Agruma, before publishing a single word,” Hornery wrote in his article.

He called his decision a “big mistake” as Rebel decided to reveal her relationship herself on Instagram.

“Considering how bitterly Wilson had complained about poor journalism standards when she successfully sued Woman’s Day for defamation, her choice to ignore our discreet, genuine and honest queries was, in our view, underwhelming,” Hornery said. - Just Jared, June 11, 2022

But if it were this easy for a website or publication to threaten outing unless being given a comment about the story, Hollywood would be having artists being outed left and right.  This is what powerful agencies like WME/Endeavor, CAA, even UTA are for.  It's not happening.  Jake would've been disclosed years ago!  And he nearly was by Ted Casablanca, and look what happened to him.  Look what happened to Jonathan Jaxson and many others, as discussed in our post, "And Then There Were None:  Jake Gyllenhaal's Severed Ties in the Gossip Business".  The ones who are still allowed to have their sites or shows, are the ones who "play along", like "Lamey" Lainey Gossip and Perez Hilton.

Perhaps Rebel has wanted to come out for awhile and was finally allowed to by her team.  But the story needed to paint a picture of being in the closet was her choice and only because of a threat of being outed, did she take the reins and make the story her own.  This would be preferable to her team instead of painting the agency as forcibly closeting her.

And of course, later the Sydney Morning Herald deletes its article, although denies a planned outing.  What's particularly annoying is the journalist is an out gay man himself, obviously working with her team behind the scenes to execute the narrative. This would be another example of how management teams use the gay community to maximize the "credibility" of the closets they enforce (e.g., Dan Wootton, Simon Jones, Karamo Brown) as well as those closets they have strategically decided are disposable.

Rebel was recently granted permanent residency in the United States and turned 42 years this year.  One's outlook on life often begins to shift when you reach your 40's.  You know who you are, what makes you happy and contemplate how you want to spend the rest of your working years because you are halfway there.  When you're in your twenties and even early thirties, the end of the working years cycle and biological clocks still have a lot of time left on them.

However it went down, good for Rebel!! and Narnia celebrates with her!

• The Hollywood closet brings out some of the worst in the administration of movie studios, public relations, television networks, media, and record companies.  Those who are members of the LGBTQIA+ community come out on the losing end as far as their self-esteem and public image.

But what has to be even worse, is those members of the community who turn on their own or join forces with another member of the community to deepen the closet of another member.  How is that helping anyone?  Well, it usually is done because it helps the enabler.  They get rewarded, like an Ellen DeGeneres, James Corden, or a Perez Hilton.

This?  This isn't helpful to anyone but Dylan O'Brien, Sadie Sink and Taylor Swift:

Dylan O'Brien soaking it up for All Too Well

IT'S A MUSIC VIDEO.

It's a music video for a song.  And Shifty made it long enough to qualify for "film" status and there she was on stage at the Tribeca Film Festival acting like she was talking about a true filming experience.  Dylan O'Brien is not any better for agreeing to be the male lead in her music video, and yes, everyone "knows" it's supposed to be about Jake Gyllenhaal.  O'Brien is playing Jake, no matter what kind of slimy spin he wants to try and put on it.

Here was O'Brien gaslighting the general public last November about his participation and who the character is supposed to be, via Popbuzz:

What was that again?  What's the character's name?

This lead sentence from the PopBuzz article emphasizes what Shifty and Dylan O'Brien want to subliminally get across:

"My character's name was Brandon, so that's all I know about it."

Brandon.  You know - "Brandon".

As in, "Let's go, Brandon."

And "Let's go, Brandon." translates to "F you, Brandon" in extreme conservative's lingo about President Joe Biden.

That name wasn't thoughtlessly used by O'Brien.   It was done on purpose because that name is associated with "F you" and that's what they want fans to think is coded for "F you, Jake Gyllenhaal."

"That's all I know about it."

Does he think we were born yesterday?   That was Class A gaslighting, that's what that was.

And O'Brien's hair wasn't patterned after Jake's style at all, was it?

Oh, and that limp-collared grey henley O'Brien has on?   Is that a reference to Jake's well-worn grey henley he donned in the classic Laker photos?

looks like a near-match to me

Hmmm.....

Shifty couldn't even come up with originality in her music video "film".  She swiped scenes and color filters from Jake's movies!

and yes, this is even a flowing stream behind Ennis Del Mar and Jack Twist, just like All Too Well copied,

In All Too Well, the characters are even arguing at the sink/kitchen like Ennis and Alma were in Brokeback MountainAll Too Well ten minute music video "film" is nothing but copy pasting from Jake's personal and film portfolio.   Enough space has been used on this tracing paper nonsense.  But let's get one more in.   How about The Day After Tomorrow, when Jake celebrated his birthday on set?  And Austin is in the background, overlooking?

All Too Well copying Jake's bday celebration on TDAT set

Jake and Austin on set of The Day After Tomorrow

"Written and Directed by Taylor Swift" ????

Really?  When all she did was thumb through Jake's film portfolio and clips from his personal life?  That's not an original work.  Shifty didn't have an original idea at all in this music video masquerading as a "short film".

Tribeca Film Festival?  For a parody re-enactment of scenes from Jake's films?   What if she were to receive a possible Oscar nomination in the short film category?   For a parody and paper trace job?   "Written by"?

I think I'd be including Jake's many screenplay writers and directors in the All Too Well writing credit if I were you, Shifty.

She couldn't make it as an actress in the hopes for an Oscar, so she's aiming for a mantel statue as a "director".  This was not a credible start, let's put it that way.

And to circle around back to Dylan O'Brien's participation and character portrayal of who did he say?  "Brandon".    "Brandon" is all that's known about the character. * eyeroll *

Perhaps O'Brien should be concerned with his own dating life instead of piling on Jake's.  O'Brien's team has hidden his "dating" history well.  In this particular article, there are several eyebrow raising lack of confirmations.

Prior to dating Robertson, O’Brien also possibly dated Chloe Grace Moretz. The two never confirmed a serious relationship but they sparked plenty of dating rumors after the paparazzi captured pictures of them going on multiple dates together in the month of August 2018. Seven years prior to his time hanging out with her, he labeled her as his celebrity crush. Unfortunately, nothing else developed from the rumors.

There were more rumors surrounding O’Brien’s dating life with another actress named Sarah Ramos after they recreated a flirtatious scene from The Social Network together. It turns out despite the flirty nature of their interaction, they’re nothing more than just friends.

Is Dylan O’Brien currently single?

At the moment, it appears Dylan O'Brien is still completely single. Even though he’s been linked to some top-notch women in the past, it doesn’t mean he’s linked to anyone in the present moment.  - Film Daily, Aug 23, 2021

"also possibly dated"
"never confirmed"
"dating rumors"
"nothing else developed"
"more rumors"
"nothing more than just friends"

And then there was this big "meet-up" with alleged long-time crush, Selena Gomez on a red carpet, documented on You Tube:

And the one "valid" relationship with an actress named Britt Robertson, whom he all-too-conveniently met on the set of a film they were both working on, The First Time, supposedly lasted six years.  [Then, there's also the matter of a needed meard in the form of Tyler Posey, who helped to distract from the chemistry O'Brien had with Tyler Hoechlin.]  Since Robertson though, he's been unattached since.

With that kind of "history", Dylan O'Brien has got some gumption slinging false, inferred slander around, about Jake.  More likely, he agreed to help Shifty out in return for what will no doubt be a reward.  It'll come because that's how these deals work. 😉

• While we're on the subject of enablers, another member of that camp would be Logan Paul, who answered Sony and Simon Cowell's call and said, "Yeah, I'll do it.  What's in it for me?"  Not sure who sank lower, Dylan O'Brien or Logan Paul, but because Liam Payne never agreed to any of his abuse, let's give the prize to Paul.

Many fans have seen or watched parts of the podcast interview which was used to make Liam look bad by releasing certain parts of the interview first which were misleading.  Not to mention once again, having a "drink" shoved into his hand.  Narnia isn't here to rehash all of that nonsense again, but the abuse needs to be called out as often as possible. For those who are stans of the other 1D guys, just remember that their image could change over night  if TPTB choose to destroy careers for whatever reason(s) [remember how Louis' image was turned from a devoted "boyfriend" to a reckless partier with a one-night stand "baby" in less than four months].

And while a lot of fans can easily see the type of unethical person Logan Paul is, we at Narnia were already quite familiar with him because he was used to instigate the "break up" of Austin Nichols and his beard, Chloe Bennett.

That participation already labeled him a closet enabler and one who wasn't too proactive about telling the truth. It also is one heckuva bad strike against him 😉

But he also has ladies in his dating history who are linked to Justin Bieber (twice!), Dane Cook, Machine Gun Kelly, Wilmer Valderrama, Diplo, and Brody Jenner (who btw, has Brianna Jungwirth in his history).  Hmmmm.

But also of note, someone in Logan Paul's "dating" history who he shares in common with one Niall Horan  🠚 Jessica Serfaty.  She is in both of their histories.

As far as Niall is concerned, Ms. Serfaty surfaced in 2016, early in One Direction's hiatus.  Simon Cowell's mouthpiece, The Sun, once again selling the official narrative.

Jessica Serfaty who also has Ed Westwick and Joe Jonas (who was once linked to GeeGee Hadid - you can't make this stuff up) in her history.  😉 😉

What.
A small world.

What a small world.  There's that Ghost of One Direction Past, Simon Cowell.  One could say he's really also a Ghost of One Direction Present as well.

*****************************

I don't know about you, but all of that has done this writer in.  Stay tuned soon (not today, though!) for Part 2 which will be devoted solely to Narnia's Numero Uno couple, Jake Gyllenhaal and his Old Man, Austin Nichols, as we take a look at just what those two scamps have been up to.  😂😂

It may be puzzling why I included Zayn Malik's Paynt robot man logo, but it started out because when I looked at the torso of the robot man, I saw an upside down triangular shape, but M&M didn't! lol

It was my interpretation of his artwork!

So anyway, we compromised and called it Zayn's Pride Month shoutout, without using the robotman as the triangle. :-(

So that's the story behind that one! :-)
