Jake Gyllenhaal is... Mr. Forgetful-in-Love

On September 20, 2017, Jake's verified Facebook account posted an interview conducted by Facebook's Chief Operating Officer, Sheryl Sandberg.  Jake's movie Stronger was about to be released and so Ms. Sandberg was on hand to help promote Jake and his movie.  Lo and behold, it was in the last minute of the interview, that Jake let everyone know of something in life that was on his "bucket" list.  Let's offer a transcription first.

"All right, last question I always ask everyone this, in the spirit of Lean In - one more thing you would do if you weren't afraid?" -  Facebook Chief Operating Officer Sheryl Sandberg

"I....uh..."  Jake

"Next thing."  -  Sheryl Sandberg

"Fall in love." - Jake

"Such a nice answer." - Sheryl Sandberg

* modest, humble chuckle * - Jake

Here's a live look at Austin and the kids as they discover this video:

Jake?  What do you have to say in response?  And don't tell us or the audience, please address your family.

"Well....."

Reallllly now?

"Yup."

lol. While it's fun to put gifs into people's mouths, let's not maintain the lighthearted tone for the duration of the post.   Here's the clip and you can start it at 14:15 and watch Jake look the woman in the eye and answer that he's been too scared to fall in love, an insinuation that falling in love is something he's juuust not been able to place on his "Accomplished" list yet.

Before we let Jakers scamper off all pleased with himself, there's a little matter of memory lapse to go over.

Mr. G seems to have forgotten that he told Howard Stern a totally different story back in July of 2015.

Again - can we get a transcriber?

"How many times have you really been in love - really in love?" - Howard Stern

"Three times" - Jake.  Then, correcting himself - "Twice"

From People.com:

He didn’t name names – the actor has dated a number of stars, including Kirsten Dunst, Reese Witherspoon, Taylor Swift and Alyssa Miller – but placed the blame on himself for relationships failing even when he was in love.

“It was me, man,” he said. “I think I probably just got scared.”

Gyllenhaal added that he's not in love at the moment, and he admitted he's a little sad about that.  "I love love, man," he said.  "Are you kidding me?"

Hmm, what to believe, what to believe...

Well, all we at Narnia can say is Austin might want to make a Walgreens run and pick up a bottle of Mr. Bubble; then, run some hot water in a claw foot tub, wrap those big ol' arms around his Mr. Forgetful, and jump start that stalled memory.   ;-)

Memorial Day 2018

Dating as far back as 1868, in what began as an honoring of fallen Civil War soldiers at Arlington Cemetary, Decoration Day has continued on and was declared a federal holiday in 1971.  The name has been changed to Memorial Day and is observed on the last Monday of the month of May.

We remember and honor those who sacrificed and gave their lives while serving for their country.

Hoping that everyone is enjoying their extended weekend (if you are fortunate enough!) and let's just have a lazy day of pics, whadya say?   I say!

Beautiful Kris Allen (thanks to @AllThings_KrisAllen who provides a great twitter feed)

This is an inspiring piece of video on Kris, by the way:

Josh Duhamel:

Dancing With the Stars winner Adam Rippon with partner Jenna Johnson:

Happier days with Gus Kenworthy and Beemo.  We at Narnia offer our condolences on the greatly felt loss of his family dog member:

Imagine being followed by the press everywhere you go and still smiling like this for the cameras.  Mr. Liam and his incredible, crinkly-eyed smile at the JFK airport:

Incredibly dapper Louis Tomlinson at the NHS Heroes Awards this past month at the London Hilton. Louis was runway stunning:

A Jake throwback:

And in turn, an Austin throwback from 2016.  Oh look, it's Spidey!  lol:

^^ that picture must have com from twitter.  Apologies to the owner as I'm not sure who had the picture.

Harry and one of his recent splendid suits, this one on stage at Buenas Aires, Argentina this past month:

This is awesome - a picture by someone whose friend met Dylan O'Brien at their job back in April.  In the sporting goods department!  Hey, it's not every day you meet a celeb by the thermoses and tennis balls.  Maybe the encounter was really in the sock and underwear aisle, but they moved it to sporting goods.  ;-) Very nice of Dylan to pose while on down time:

A couple of pictures of Adam Lambert.  The first one is fuzzy and from an Instagram Story (I know, I know), but I like it.

And check out this jacket from his latest interview in Altitude - eye poppin' wow:

New pics of Mr. Horan emerged; he was hitting the gym in LA:

This was a great tweet from Niall last week, doing his subtle thing:

So, just a few pictorial nuggets from the past week or two, and we can never leave out Jakers/Austin because well....we're obsessed in that way.

But THIS?  THIS caps everything for quite awhile.  THIS.  Look at these two big saps:

It doesn't any syrupy, smushy, and dopier than that, folks.

That balloon moment ranks right up there, Han Solo, don't care how you feel about mush.  It's darn close to the tuxedo gif of them.  Jared and Jensen are the couple that just keep on giving with the heart eyes, aren't they?  For all of the shenanigan baggage that comes with them now, the Balloon Moment was pure gold.

"Will" Play or "In Talks" To Play - The Yank and Pull of Jake Gyllenhaal's Social Media Team

The tweet below was among the very first, if not the first tweet with the story this morning:

@97fmRadiocity, a twitter account located out of Kampala, Uganda, East Africa, from the Africell Uganda network.

@97fmRadiocity with the scoop.

Another one of the first tweets with this pretty big news was from a site called "Celebretainment ":

Jake Gyllenhaal is set to play villain Mysterio in the next 'Spider-Man' movie.

The 37-year-old actor has reportedly won the race to portray the antagonist opposite Tom Holland who is returning as the webslinger in his second standalone film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Gyllenhaal was in competition with Ryan Gosling for the coveted part but the latter star pulled out of the running due to a scheduling conflict with another project.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Producers were keen to sign Ryan but he was busy filming another project. Jake is a suitable alternative with experience of playing villainous characters."
[edited]

Shooting on the MCU blockbuster is due to begin in London in June.

June, huh?  Well, supposedly Jake has been done filming the Untitled Dan Gilroy Project for awhile and since completion, has been strolling the Brooklyn Bridge, hanging out at the San Francisco airport, writing at cafe tables while his ice cream sundae melted in NYC, and then "spotted" furniture shopping before returning to LA (via jakebullshittingovereverybody Instagram ) , and collaborating with Cary Fukunaga on the Leonard Bernstein project.

Now, according to a Michelle Williams fan twitter site, Jake is supposed to be tied up with the movie formerly known as Rio, during the early summer:

And according to Jake's IMBd, he's in the middle of a real mine field of film options - a veritable cornucopia of selections.  Which to do today?

And if it isn't challenging enough trying to fit together the Filming Outlook Calendar for Jakers, trying to figure out which tweet has the real scoop is another opportunity:

"Will he" play?

"Will" menace:

"Will" play:

"Will be":

"is in consideration to play":

"Might be":

"is set to join"

"might have found":

"could be":

"trades now confirming":

Phew.  I don't know about anyone else, but just reading a small block of tweets in Jaker's Spiderman timeline has me,

lol.  So we'll see which project gets pushed aside to make room for which other project.  Perhaps the hubs could share his Big Grid Family Organizer??  ;D

Stay tuned.
