Happy Month of July!! Here we go with a few thoughts, observations, opinions.....first off, let's give a summer salute to a couple of our OTP couples who are finding out what teachers deal with during the school year:

• I was looking at a picture of Jake as Dr. Johnny Wilcox in his latest movie Okja and it inspired me to take a look back at another much older picture of him.

Aaah yes, the 'controversial' photo that used to get the mgmnt troll all up in arms back in the day. And Jake's legs were a bit thinner years ago, as one could see here:
Awwwww, that picture is pretty cute, I have to say. Look at that little retro nugget - Jake and his lunch. And love going back and looking once again at the "gasp!" photo. The boys being spicy back in the day! ;-)
• Here's another photo that caught my eye. This one appeared yesterday, GPS'ing Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles at an Austin, TX children's event. [Special Author's Note: HUGE THANK YOU!!! to tweeter teddymac for her find of this now-deleted twit pic. She gets a big gold star on this day, 7/18/17 !!!]

Aaaah yes, "Discover the Dinosaurs Unleashed!" which was taking place yesterday, July 8, 2017. J2 pic to satisfy the drought of Jared and Jensen pictures this hiatus - check. Signs of strollers, which would mean presence of the children - check. Yea! Right?

A believable event, one that was specifically taking place in Austin yesterday, so it all works. Oh, but then we have a mention of possibly the "spouse", but this is accompanied by "I believe", "I didn't see Jared's spouse", and "I'm sure". So, what we're left with is this side by side of Jared and Jensen, which unfortunately, is not exactly a ringing endorsement of authenticity in "Dino"-land.
There's the slight matter of familiar graininess (darn that sand everywhere!) and the fact that Jensen's legs kind of blur into....nothingness....and Jared's legs are fortunately behind a strategically placed stroller and line barrier.
Nah, we at Narnia aren't buying it, fellas! Try again. By the way, we hear that filming is going to be starting back up again soon. Could it be that the Padackles (including the kiddo train) have indeed been somewhere along the west coast all this time??? It takes awhile to get everyone settled, doesn't it?
I'm afraid this entire summer "hiatus" has been one crazy, wild ride this year. A lot of rabbit holes, a lot of reactions, too much excess and too much time online for the PR teams trying to sell an Austin story that is beginning to look more and more like a narrative.

Maybe things can kind of get back to "normal" with a return to filming. We'll see. ;-) Looking forward to seeing more of Jared and Jensen, minus the extracurricular.
• This was nice to see on Just Jared yesterday from the Pride in London parade at Trafalgar Square.
I hope they share many more years of happiness together. It's great now to see a visible increase in the different "shades" of love in our pictorial and printed media. Tom Daley looks so happy here.
• And from a different entertaining point of view, mark your calendars for July 21, 2017. Methodical Muser has already purchased her Dunkirk tickets and is very much looking forward to Harry Styles' film debut. Keep those pocketbooks open though because Louis Tomlinson also has a new record out on the same date that is receiving a lot of buzz in the industry called, "Back to You," with Bebe Rexha. Buy lots of copies for your friends. Christmas is just around the corner after all!
