Sunday Musings: It's a Summer of Travis Kelce and Stale Bread

While we look forward to Methodical Muser's next update on her excellent series on One Direction, there were a few items to be brought up.

** As some may know, that earlier in July, actor Randy Mantooth and a personal fave of this author's, passed away at the age of 80.  And I will write a tribute to him, but need some time to try and do it and him, justice.  Just so it doesn't look like his passing is being ignored, it's not and won't be.  His tribute will ride on its own.  😢 🥲 **

✨✨✨✨✨✨

And a side note leading up to our next topics, if you are following any of the dumpster fires going on in D.C. at the moment and our "illustrious leadership", you will notice that it is coming to light that being closeted & fear of being outed is one of several reasons behind several politician's controversial situations.   It's very sad is what it is.  Following two Missouri sports teams in the Chiefs and Royals, their social media activity and followers very often reflect the same, still-existent segment of American male views.  It's a serious issue.

🏈🏈🏈🏈🏈🏈

Which leads to the Chiefs, who are now in the throes of a new season's training camp.  The two local sports talk radio stations and fans are all excited for the new season as quarterback Patrick Mahomes is back and has miraculously been cleared already for full practice.  Isn't that something.

It's a miracle.

We will just see how this goes.   Despite a great start and all-go in practice videos, we've already had the stories on Patrick "limping" and some "concern".

Narnia says that everything depends on the NFL and if Patrick will be allowed to play this season without interference.  So far, we're not off to the best of starts.

Nor is Travis Kelce.  I mean, the players had barely carried their box fans and suitcases into the Missouri Western dormitories, and the planted interns and NFL "insiders" were warming up their tweeting and writing fingers.

"Patrick is out of shape and overweight"

The season hadn't even started! That tweet came on June 28.

Here was Patrick walking down the hill to practice.  Pretty good pace, wasn't it?  And that's going down hill, which puts added pressure on the knees.

💪  Oh, and looking pretty trim there, too.  ** facepalm **

And then there's Travis.  Shifty Team plant Scott Tea can be counted on to provide us with this new season's narratives and this one is getting to be an annual.

And while we can tip our cap to claiming photo shopping and AI, he's claiming that everyone posting the other photos and vids are the ones doing the photo shopping.

Local television station KCTV 5 had a video on Aug 1 of Travis coming down the hill:

40 lbs. "overweight".

I mean, I don't know.  Myself?  The video from KCTV5 has it hands down.

And believe me, between local sports radio station 810 AM, KCTV 5, Harold Kuntz and Rob Collins from Fox 4 sports, etc., they are posting "walking down the hill to practice" videos daily and taking care of that, particularly vids of Travis, I guess because he gets little screams and whatnot.  😂

This kind of narrative mistreatment reminds Narnia of Liam Payne in particular, and how the narrative in 2021 was that he had gained weight and let himself go.  Guess who helped sell that one, besides Liam (no doubt, as required of him)?

Old pal Steven Bartlett and his "Diary of a CEO" podcast where Liam talked about how disappointed he was with his appearance at the BAFTA's.

In this Chiefs case, both Patrick and Travis are "taking it" about their alleged weight gain, which is also untrue.  This was a narrative last year with both men.

Scott Tea tried to also sell it in the 2023-24 season.

Here's video of Travis from the Super Bowl on Feb 11, 2024:

That level of weight gain doesn't happen in a month and certainly not while you're still playing in the post-season.  So, this has been a continued false narrative to 1) make Travis look slovenly and uncaring and 2) no doubt will be brought up again whenever the "divorce" happens.  Alot of seeding goes into those People, TMZ and Page Six articles, remember.

It's tired.  And it's stale as moldy bread.  🍞

Two other pieces of stale bread when it comes to Travis?

1)  All I have to see is this photo tweet and the account that it comes from plus the message, and it reaffirms just cause for Narnia's suspicions about all the alleged incidents involving Rashee Rice.

 Who can forget:

doesn't that look like padding under Travis' shorts? Right side?

(Maybe it was just a windy day lol)  Anyway, Narnia talked about that T shirt, along with Rashee and Mecole Hardman's roles regarding the tarnishing and enabling of Travis, Shifty, and Patrick, et al earlier in January, in our post "The Continuing Saga of Travis Kelce's Takedown:  When Retirement May No Longer Be Voluntary".

2) Ross Travis - the boooyfriend.  The guy that no Chiefs fan even RECALLED until he began being seen clinging to Travis' back like a darn tick once Shifty arrived in '23.   Ross Travis is a meard - plain and simple.  He's Misha Collins 2.0. except Ross Travis gets to live an even more lavish lifestyle all because of who he's mearding for.  #AnyoneButPatrick

Here's our old pal again bringing the "evidence".  😮

Please.

Do you ever get to see Harry visibly with Louis even to this day (patience with that one though, folks)?  Do we get to see Austin with Jake in a photo anywhere?   We see Jared and Jensen on a stage together at the same time, why?  Because they have the cover of working a convention together.  Otherwise, Jared has his own meard in Anson Gordon.

Fans, watch for who of the same sex is allowed to be seen with your OTP half in social situations in "full view" of photo capture.

And if they are allowed?  Watch under what circumstances.  Is it an award show?  Is it a convention? Is it on set?  Is it promo?  Watch for who is shoved between them.  A beard?  Other castmates?

Where's some good ol' Sara Lee bread because Narnia is tired of this month-old, stale and tired stuff.  Time to go to the store.

🍞🍞🍞🍞🍞🍞🍞🍞

Notice a couple of "family's" kids ditching their "father's" surname?  The Pitt/Jolie kids one by one, have been making news by removing Pitt from their name.  And we also have Suri Cruise now dropping "Cruise" and changing it to Katie's middle name:

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes' daughter Suri legally dropped her last name.

Suri, a 20-year-old college student, legally changed her last name from Cruise to Noelle, according to records obtained by Fox News Digital.

The voter registration report noted that Suri, a student at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, is registered to vote in Allegheny County, PA.

Her registration is under Suri Noelle, an homage to her mother's middle name. Suri previously used the name during her high school graduation in 2024. - via MSN, July 28, 2026

It's very revealing whose offspring they really are.  Tom Cruise is not Suri's real father, and the "Pitt" children are not and never were Brad's.

✏ ✏ ✏ ✏ ✏ ✏✏

Well, this is kind of a short musings and this author apologizes for that.  I've been watching a German Shepherd named Max and his two cat siblings; wrapping up is always a little hectic.  There are still several topics to go, but they'll need to wait just a bit.  There are sheets & towel to get out of the dryer!  😂 Hey, I don't leave a mess.  I'm not at a hotel after all.

How about a photo dump of some of our guys to cleanse the palate?

I don't speak of this gentle soul in the past tense for a reason, folks.   He's out there somewhere and he's with Zayn when we're not seeing Zaynie somewhere.  Don't be afraid to believe it.  I'm not.

Enjoy your vacay'ing, boys!!

We won't be surprised if we see one of them out in the wild soon.  After all, Baby Tile Leadville's birthday is approaching soon.  😉

I think I'm kinda missing that rascal Jakers.  😅

And look who's back with the Chicago Blackhawks?!   Patrick Kane!

We wish Patrick the best in the new hockey season.  And we hope this can happen as well:

And to end things, still my fave TV guys!  Johnny Gage and Roy DeSoto.

Yes, Johnny is that chaotic! 😂

Lower Level hurt/comfort!

Roy making eggs lupin for him and Johnny

Okay, I hear M&M's laptop is back from the doctor's and she is working hard on her next segment.  Also, wish me luck on this post because I'm flying without her editing!  😱

So until next time!  Thank you for paying Narnia a visit.

The Dismantling of a Kansas City Chiefs Dynasty: Jenga Gone Light Speed

"I will not whine or complain during the process. I won’t be a distraction, on or off the field."

Patrick Mahomes - NFL Draft Letter April 2017

That sentence comes within the text of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes' NFL draft letter as a graduate of Texas Tech, letting the NFL teams know that he could be trusted to be well-behaved.  That he wasn't going to make the news for the wrong reasons.  That he would do what was required.  What was expected.

To look back at his NFL draft letter is to see how much he meant what he said and how he continues to love playing the game of football.  His draft letter is a highly recommended read.  There is nothing in some of the quotes from his letter that don't continue to resonate today, which makes his performance in the last Super Bowl, number LIX, stand out all the more, in the worst, most unbelievable way.

Though Patrick was a rookie in the Chiefs organization in 2017, he didn't become their starting QB until the next season, 2018-19.  And in that first season, he took the league by storm and led the Chiefs all the way to the American Football League Championship game against the New England Patriots and their QB, Tom Brady.  Patrick and the Chiefs lost to the Patriots, but otherwise, he hasn't looked back since, chasing Tom's records at a startling pace all along the way.

Fans on Twitter/X have dissected statistics ad nauseam between the two men, comparing and sparring, trying to elevate their favorite as king of the hill.  Tom Brady has 7 Super Bowl rings, Patrick has 3.  Patrick turned 30 this season.  He was closing in on Tom in several categories.

Then, there are their favorite, top receivers.  Brady had Rob "Gronk" Gronkowski, who is also now retired.  Patrick has Travis Kelce, now age 36.   Again, fans have compared Gronkowski and Travis for a number of years, especially since Travis began breaking NFL records and coming closer and closer to some of Gronk's.

It is vital and crucial to New England fans that their fave duo, Brady and Gronkowski remain king of the mountain.  The best of all time.  The "goats", as it were.

As the 2024-25 season progressed with the Chiefs ending the season at 15-2 (with the last loss coming vs. the Denver Broncos while resting most of the starters, including Patrick and Travis), the discussion of a Chiefs "dynasty" grew at a fever pitch.

Including the idea and possible realization of a three-peat, the winning of three (3) Super Bowls in a row; oh, the chances were oh-so-real.  No NFL team had ever won the Super Bowl three times in a row since the NFL merged with the old AFL.  Prior to that merger, the Green Bay Packers had done it.

Patrick was suddenly getting closer and closer to approaching the possibility of a three-peat.  He would also take one step closer to catching Brady's seven rings and build on his own legacy as possibly the best quarterback ever.

Should we also mention how Chiefs coach Andy Reid was himself climbing the record books?  Look at where he's sitting.

 For regular season wins:

And for post season?  Look at that - oh, he's been climbing.

But as we all know, it didn't happen in the 2025 Super Bowl.  Just like in the thrown 2022 AFCG Game vs the Cincinnati Bengals, the Chiefs suddenly looked totally and unequivocally lost.

And if somehow the Chiefs had won and achieved this extremely rare feat of three (3) consecutive Super Bowl wins, no doubt there would have been gnashing of teeth and wailing with an intensity not seen before in the football world.

Who comprises the "football world"?  Well, it includes the other remaining NFL teams, along with their hundreds and thousands, likely millions of fans across the United States and overseas.  It also includes the media - beat writers, pod-casters, influencers, hosts on numerous shows such as NFL Network, ESPN, etc.

The state of being "tired of the Chiefs winning" even had a name - "Chiefs Fatigue".

Not to worry, though.  All are safe.  All can rest assured.

The three-peat would not happen.

The possibility crumbled to pieces in an unbelievably ghastly display on Sunday, February 9. In front of millions of viewers, on the biggest stage.

For allllllll to see.

Were you shocked by it all?

Narnia wasn't shocked.  We were greatly disappointed, but can't say there weren't signs that the outcome could be a loss.

And now, in this 2025-26 season, proceedings seem to be setting up a continuation of this dismantling of the dynasty so many never wanted.  The Chiefs lost to the Houston Texans on Sunday, Dec. 7, just about killing all hope for another post-season drive.  The free fall continued and now with the regular season ended?  The Chiefs are sitting at home.

But so many intriguing occurrences have already happened to set the Chiefs up for a tremendously surprising fall from the top.

• Coach Andy Reid and his normally quite capable staff of coaches have suddenly all gone belly up with ineffective and unimaginative play calling.

• Rookie offensive lineman Josh Simmons, who had greatly impressed in training camp and was looking like a dream-come-true left tackle, suddenly had a "personal issue" and missed four (4) games due to said mysterious "personal issue".

• Two years in a row, top-level wide receivers have gone down.

• Kicker Harrison Butker got off to a very rough start, missing a number of PAT's and short field goals, before eventually turning it around later in the season.

• Running back Isiah Pacheco's suspect "knee injury".  I say "suspect" because I was watching the game where his knee did collide with another player, but after spending some time on the sideline, he hopped down from the table and seemed to move around with no visible issue.  Isiah missed three (3) critical games that affected the team's running game and placed a heavy load on Kareem Hunt.

•  The weird winning touchdown run by Trevor Lawrence in the Chiefs vs. Jaguars game in October where it appeared that Chris Jones' feet were rooted in cement.

• How about the way Travis Kelce has really perfected the ability to bat the ball up into the air, thus greatly improving the odds of the 🏈 being intercepted?  This happened several times in the 2025 season, but this was when it happened vs. the Houston Texans earlier in December.

👀👀  He had it.  In his hands.

It has been one thing after another.  Patrick lost his top wide receivers two years in a row.  In 2024, Xavier Worthy was knocked out right off the bat in Game 1, followed by Rashee Rice several games later, with an alleged knee injury that was "caused" by his own quarterback, Patrick.  Then in 2025, Rashee Rice missed the first six regular season games by serving his suspension due to a car crash that he had been a major part of.  Then, Xavier was lost for a couple of games after colliding with Travis Kelce.  What are the odds?

Patrick was "at fault" the first time, "taking out" his own wide receiver Rashee!  Then this past season, lo and behold, now it's Travis who "takes out" Xavier.  Both times, twitter/X goes on a spree with accounts blaming the two men for hurting the team with their actions.

Of all teammates - Patrick.  And then Travis.  Imagine that.  😒

On to next critical position:  Offensive linemen.  Offensive linemen were pulled from active duty like plucked daisies until eventually Patrick was left scrambling repeatedly, trying to evade defensive tackles.

Eventually, it all caught up with him on Sunday, Dec. 14, vs. the L.A. Chargers when Patrick was tackled and his knee suffered dual ligament damage, requiring season-ending surgery.

Narnia will watch how the injury / "injury" is handled since last season's suspect Travis "ankle injury", Josh Simmons' "personal issue",  Mecole Hardman's out-of-the-blue, alleged knee injury suffered during practice prior to a Chargers game, amongst other suspect ones, do not instill the greatest of confidence in fans being dealt the truth.

How does one of the most efficiently run, talented organizations suffer such a collapse?  Such a fall?  The amount of head scratching and voices of bewilderment amongst the local media was deafening this season.  Many didn't understand what they were witnessing week after week.  They searched for answers.  A different player, coach, or administrative leader was  blamed after every game.

Narnia believes it is unfortunate that the situation can't be looked at differently, i.e. how we've grown familiar with tactics of sabotage and manipulation when closeted entertainers/athletes are involved.

We have recollections.

• of Steve Finan O'Connor frequently overheard in the background, serving as a watchdog while Liam Payne conducted his live stream videos for fans

• of an open stage trap door exposed while Harry Styles was performing during his Love on Tour on January 27, 2023, narrowly avoiding very serious injury

• of a revolving door incident at the Feb 5, 2023 Grammy Awards, which were under the executive production of Ben Winston (imagine that).  The major technical glitch occurred when the turntable rotating stage unexpectedly spun in reverse, which forced Harry and his dancers to quickly improvise.

• of Jared Padalecki being "stricken" with a "broken shoulder/broken arm" the Saturday morning of JibCon in 2014, thus being conveniently moved out of the way, I mean made unavailable so that the meard Misha Collins could be more prominently featured on-stage as well as off-stage with Jensen Ackles.

The sling didn't last long during JibCon 2014

• of hockey player Patrick Kane being dealt a "rape accusation"

• of hockey player Jonathan Toews being dealt an "autoimmune" disease so that he could be sidelined (nursery duties??) from the game.

• of Peter Sarsgaard being shoehorned into a number of recent projects of Jake's to prove they have had no rift between them, dating all the way back to 2012 and a blind item.  Likely also to prove the brother-in-law is still in a happy marriage.  😉

 • need we mention Jussie Smollett's set-up?  Armie Hammer's?  Johnny Depp's?  Michael Jackson's sabotage?

The "need" for TPTB (i.e. record companies, talent agencies, film studios, sports team owners and/or their league administrators) to control their players/artists in an entertainment industry rife with bigotry and homophobia is beyond the general public's awareness and comprehension.

- If you are unfamiliar with the closet and how it has worked in these two industries.

- If you are one who loves the magazine tabloids like People, US Weekly, National Enquirer, or online sites (which are actually more popular now) like Deaux Moi, Enty Lawyer, TMZ, Page Six, the Daily Mail, Data Lounge, Reddit, etc.  and believe that they are beacons of truth.

Then, you are also likely going to miss how:

• the profits from gambling benefit the big sports leagues

• the increased thirst for "ramped up algorithms" in social media by creating/manufacturing the latest sensation or "viral moment"

• the endorsement money from advertisers

and

• the financial returns from streaming rights

can all contribute to playing a factor in some of the questionable decision-making by those in charge of 1) what airs on the screen or 2) is put on the fields of competition.  The next question is why? What's the purpose other than being motivated by financial gains?

What do our recollections of sabotage and ill-treatment of many of our favorite subjects have to do with the Chiefs and their 2025 season?

As we wrap this segment up, let's briefly circle back around to our recollections of sabotage and the obvious shared common thread of who the incidents involve, mostly members of the LGBTQ community.

It's also to know that the number of queer population in the entertainment industry is likely even more than Ted Casablanca used to say exists, which is roughly 50%.  Narnia believes it has to be higher than that today.

The minute Shifty (Taylor Swift) entered the picture with tight end Travis Kelce, it was a huge red flag that the closet was involved.  Her history speaks for itself.

Never forget the article about her being a professional beard that was snuffed out online back in 2014.  It's taken years of high-profile "dating" to snuff out the loudness of the below image.

This is just a screenshot from International Business Times Australia via Sugarscape, from the article dated 02 12 14:

We have witnessed how TPTB will go to extreme lengths to misrepresent the sexuality images of their clients, whatever they deem "necessary" to portray them as heterosexual, whether that means someone they're "dating", marrying and/or having a baby with.  Teams will stoop so low as to have false sexual assault/harassment charges, cheating scandals, or false sexual addictions (Armie Hammer); however they can ensure a straight image for the client.

Beginning with his 2018-19 season, Patrick Mahomes has had a plenitude of off-field distractions caused by his brother, his mother and beard, I mean "wife".  It has been one thing after another.  Then, TPTB figured that wasn't enough and began creating on-the-field antics like the Dec. 10, 2023 Buffalo Bills game where he play-acted to be "visibly upset" by the officiating and thus planted the seed for the "spoiled brat", "sore loser" label by NFL fans.

Cameras were sure to show all of the bellyaching.  This act was not credible; his past history showed it was not.  We were supposed to believe that Patrick had suddenly become a loose cannon?  smh

He was shown to be livid with teammates.  Has he corrected teammates before?  Of course.  Has he been visibly disappointed?  Sure.  Has he guided teammates away from possible-damaging behavior before an unsportsmanlike penalty was inflicted on the team?  Oh, you bet.  (See Tyreek Hill, lol.)

But not this kind of grand standing.  This is not the Patrick Mahomes that has been a Chief since 2017.

And examples of Travis' wild behavior the past several years requires an entirely new post; we don't have that kind of space.  This post has gone on long enough already.  But his image has regressed to being an abusive, ticking time bomb.

Interesting, isn't it?  Both Patrick and Travis suffering from plummeting regression at times.  Violent or disgruntled behavior.  Enough to distract from field performance.  A steady enough drip to drain away from popular, respected images.

Who would have had a problem with the on and off field chemistry of such a successful duo to want to sabotage it?

Were these moments bothering TPTB?

Who doesn't enjoy seeing these guys enjoy each other's company?   😉  Weren't those fun, warm and happy images?

But you know how TPTB are.  They're the no-fun bunch.  They love to smack the hands of these guys.

And we're not sure what to think of this clip from Tyreek Hill's podcast and what he had to say in a "joking around" moment, filled with telltale snickering and tittering.  This was something else, possibly making the league sweat a bit with the winking and cackling.

It Needed To Be Said podcast

And so here we are.  The Chiefs had a bit too much success and fun going on.   Success that was beginning to seriously threaten the previous success of a couple of favored players gone before.  And just like the league wasn't going to let Michael Sam or Carl Nassib even get to sniff success, Patrick AND Travis have had everything thrown at them (and their teammates) to slow down the success and the breaking of records which threatened the legacy of Tom Brady and therefore his WR Rob Gronkowski as well:

- phantom injuries

- car accidents

- "personal issues"

- a kicker's mysteriously lengthy slump

- some terrible officiating

- suddenly unimaginative play-calling

- repetitive penalties of neutral zone infractions/offsides by veteran Super Bowl-experienced players

- steroidal bearding activity

- the introduction of a meard for Travis, by the name of Ross Travis (a huge thank you to the Gaylors for even pointing out the existence of Ross Travis \sarc)

- birth of another stunt child for QB1

- political distractions by kicker Harrison Butker and members of the Hunt family

- and of course, probably the biggest and most noticeable of all ... the arrival of Taylor Swift.

Taylor Swift, aka Shifty, has been a huge factor.  With her arrival in 2023, the Chiefs catapulted to being the "IT" team and a deciding factor in streaming negotiations for the next two NFL seasons.

And now the season is officially over for the Chiefs and the big question is, will Travis retire after this season or leave it open to return next year?   His post-game interview looked pretty somber and the eyes glistening.

Let's hope that he's able to make that decision for himself without being forced out.  This post-game interview video on Sunday, Jan 4, isn't exactly a promising start.

                                                                 via Sam McDowell twitter

Plus, there's that matter of the number 13, supposedly Shifty's favorite number.  (Her birthday is December 13. She turned the age of 13 on a Friday the 13th.  Her engagement was announced 13 days after a first-time appearance on Travis and Jason's New Heights podcast.)  Her wedding is supposed to be on what date?  June 13.  😑

Etcetera, etcetera, and so on, and so forth.

Well, guess what?  This is Travis Kelce's 13th season in football. Gee, wouldn't it be just awesome if he could retire after his 13th season so that he could get hitched?

And what is this?  Gaslighting?  Is it a subtle warning to Patrick from someone through 96.5 FM that he could always be traded if he doesn't stay in line?  A reminder of his draft letter and his pledge to toe the line?

Or is it quite a valid statement that once Travis is off the roster for good, that there isn't much going to hold Patrick committed to the Chiefs as well as the city, if winning is no longer happening?  Especially after the way Clark Hunt, Jr. had to sign off on how his star QB has been treated these last several years, while his organization reaped the benefits of all the publicity and three Super Bowl wins?

If that's the case?  Good for Patrick.  No doubt he would remember that he does hold some clout when it comes to the immediate future of the organization.  It's his talent that changed everything, partnered with coach Andy Reid.

                                                                    96.5 The Fan FM radio

This flick has too many constantly changing plots and scenes.  Just think - this particular post mostly focused on happenings with the Chiefs organization when a large factor that plays into everything is Taylor Swift, and the post hasn't focused much on her.  That book hasn't closed yet though, so plenty of time to talk about that chapter at a later time.

But there's one thing to remember.  Even though Travis will be retiring soon, whether it's within days, months, or after next season,  in case you haven't noticed, his won't be the last fauxmance to hit the sports world.  Let's look at a few more:

• New England Patriots WR Stefon Diggs + Cardi  B (Full Stop Mgmnt client)

• Buffalo Bills QB1 Josh Allen + Hailee Steinfeld (Full Stop Mgmnt client)

• NY Giants QB Russell Wilson + Ciara

• LA Chargers QB1 Justin Herbert + Madison Beer (Full Stop Mgmnt client)

• NJ Devils center Jack Hughes + singer/dancer Tate McRae

• Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher Paul Skenes + influencer Livvy Dunne

Do you see how half of the beards are Full Stop Management clients?  Full Stop Management specializes in handling the images of closeted talent.

Look at what these teams dreamed up:

Two of the faux couples had a play date:  Josh Allen + Hailee met Paul Skenes + Livvy Dunne.

😱

They sent Paul Skenes & Dunne to Buffalo, NY to watch Josh Allen's Bills play the Jets.  Not even the Pittsburgh Steelers so there was at least a Pittsburgh connection!  smh

👎👎👎👎👎👎👎

Okay, that last bit with the play date?  That's the last straw.  We are outta here on that note. 😬

If you've made it to this point, we at Narnia will join you in feeling utterly exhausted.  😉

All we can say is in the end, these players certainly deserve to be treated a lot better than in this inhumane manner.  Have Travis and Patrick received rewards along the way?  Absolutely.  Might Josh Allen be rewarded with a Super Bowl win?  It is looking quite possible.

They're humans though, not dolls to pose and order around however desired.  And they are unjustly being made an example of, not unlike a few other Narnia's faves who are all too familiar with the dealings of the closet.
