NYC Walkabout Nov 9 2012 with Jake and Austin



Five (5) years ago on November 9, Jake was photo'd on a New York City stroll.  The higher focus was on the female companion:


Had anyone in Jake's fandom ever seen her before?  I never read where anyone claimed to remember her.  Has she ever been seen again?  No.

One had to go to I Heart Jake to see who was also along that day.  #NeverForget

Yup, there they were.  Five years ago today, November 9, 2012. Jake and Austin.  Together again for the cameras.

Here’s Jake Gyllenhaal walking around New York on Friday with his best friend Austin Nichols and a new dark-haired girl on his arm, and attached to his hand. It’s been three days and, at press time, she’s yet to be identified. Not that the effort hasn’t been there. They’re all trying, trust me. And if it’s taken this long it’s probably because 1. she has no other fame connections beyond him and 2. he’s keeping his sh-t tight, and no one has sold them out (yet). She has a very Toronto face to me. I feel like I’ve seen her before.

Anyway, remember how just one day earlier, a eagle-eyed OMG reader spotted who looked to be Austin unintentionally (or was it intentionally?) photobombing his hubs in a NYC subway train pic? See him?  Staring into the outside wall of the train?  LOL



And one more time - no, we never have seen that "mystery brunette" gal again.  And no, we still don't know her name.

Night "Out" On the Town With the Padalecki's: Jared and His "Bride"



Well, looks like it was another weekend, another night out for the Padalecki's, sans children. #AyeYeahYeah  This is getting to be quite the pattern, isn't it?  This past weekend was Austin's OutYouth big gala fundraiser and celebration for its participants.  And who came along to join in on the festivities and show their support for the youth?  Both Jared and his "bride", Genevieve.  Hey, that's a coup, isn't it?  The star of Supernatural?  Let's take a look at the photo sharing from the evening in Narnia fashion, of course. ;-)

Pretty glitzy looking affair, by the looks of the evening's program:


 

 But then, this annual fundraiser is a big one - the organization's largest of the year. 


It is interesting that the "x" hyperlink takes you to a different picture, but you have to flip through a few pages of the album and the following picture will come up

Now, if you looked earlier at this post, you may have seen this same photo on another Instagram account, though now removed from the post.  But as M&M and I were looking at this photo again on the young man's Instagram account, look at what M&M saw:



It's just pretty interesting that the young man @cub_ski is not tagged in the photo, and but Jared is.  Yet Jared is not in this particular photo. True, someone could be tagged and yet not physically in the photo, but wouldn't one think people who were actually in the photo would be tagged? Especially considering this is his account?  lol.  Ah well.....

Then there was this photo.  Beard's presence mentioned?  Check - "wife was there too".  And an explanation on how Jared came to be in the picture.  "Walked past us while we were posing for the photo and I told him he could be in it too if he wanted, and he did".  Wow, that easy.  Kind of interesting there weren't more pictures with other attendees, considering whenever Jared walks the streets of a city and needs to be seen, there are plenty.

Complete with a glimpse of the evening's program and auction bidding card! Hmmm....nice touch of authenticity lying there right under Jared's hand.  Just could make Narnia pause to reconsider.

 And, wait, there's one more.


And after a few "So jealous!" and "Who dat" replies, out of nowhere, comes a frank question and then reply by the poster.  Isn't that something how that frank and winky wink verbal transaction is still up and been discussed at large on Spn Goss.

Yet posters the likes of Decoding Anna are bullied off the internet for talking about the beards?

Sure, it's always possible the loved-up couple was in attendance.  One of those 'we'll never know' kind of deals, I think.   For myself, believe it or not, this was not the biggest question of the past weekend.  

Oh nooooo; the biggest question really was, 

Where was Jensen while all this distraction was going on?  Could it have been...

Jake and Austin, More Jake and Austin, and Even More Jake and Austin!






The continuing adventures of Jake and Austin across the pond this past weekend.  Of course, they are in Europe no more, but alas! October was their month to be loved up whenever there was a rare moment alone.  Because you know how kids are, right?

*heehee*  All right, nah, let's get down to it because these two men were running with scissors [aka #kidfree] this past weekend:  Jake at the Rome Film Fest in Italy, while Austin was kickin' up his heels at the Paris Comic Con in France.

There were so many pictures of Austin with fans.  I've never seen so many.  It was wonderful to see.

As Austin said in that Instagram post, he "LOVES PARIS" and it sure looks like it.  They love you too, Austin.  So everyone else, what did you think of that?

So there you have it.  Lots of flash bulbs, lots of smiles and tight hugs, and the deepest wine red the likes we haven't seen on Jake in quite awhile.  We like those wild hairs, don't we?  Yeeeeah.   We want to thank the people of Rome and Paris for sharing more of these two men than we ever get to see here in the States anymore.  These pictures were a wonderful gift.  :-)
