Please pardon the mess
Hello!
This is the first post of Narnia's Dispatches, an additional place for folks to comment and talk about some of our favorite One True Pairings and the Hollywood closet. It is an invite only community but will be open for public view.
It will be a small community but most importantly, we will be able to talk without outside harassment. So please feel safe, feel free to come and go whenever you want, whenever you feel like it.
And please excuse the mess, M&M and I are still trying to figure some layout refinements out. But there's time to chisel and buff; in the meantime, I just wanted to be able to get some updates done.

Most importantly above everything, I wanted to say that OMG is still THE kingpin of Jake/Austin. It is the mothership of all motherships. And Narnia Dispatches is not competing.
Also, we are trying to get OMG on a recommended site list over to the right, but so far, it's not working right, so like I said, please excuse the construction.
And now, PSA's are done.
In case anyone did not know, Mr. Austy has been in the Corn State this weekend, the great state of Iowa. He has been at Wizard World in Des Moines with the beard.
Those 2 crazy kids used just about all the social media they could to OTT advertise where they were going to be with the beard pretending to be in Atlanta and leaving with Austin. We know better.
Anyway, here's a video that was posted today from the beard's panel and at around 00:23 or so, watch for Austin to enter the panel. It's no wonder he was sent to this con - his guest stint was, in my opinion, solely to push the fake relationship.

Sorry for the personal, totally irrelevant posts prior to this one. This used to be my personal blog and I don't want to take those other posts down, so just ignore them and going forward, all the other posts will be OTP oriented.
Did you say Corn State or the state of corny concocted stunting? Because given the tall tales and manufactured script that unfolded on stage today between Austie and the Beard at Wizard World, I really can’t tell what is more embarrassing. Awkward Austin trying to pretend he’s interested in anything Faux Chloe has to say. Or the latter’s pathetic attempt to use the opportunity to promote a fake domesticity. So much for the Iowa State motto of, “Our liberties we prize and our rights we will maintain.”
You know what though...
As I'm scrolling through Twitter, something I do morning & evening, sometimes at lunch hour...with Jake & Austin, I find that with them, it is getting very difficult anymore to trust hardly anyone.
Jake's had fake tweets for how long now? Forever.
But Austin? Austin used to never be seen. He still rarely gets recognized. But with all of these cons he's doing, I am finding myself a few fakers out there.
And I think Jared/Jensen fans should also be very wary because Mgmnt is using more & more "fake" fans. I am going to call them snakes in the grass, because that's what they are.
And I have now flushed out a couple of them, a couple of whom were the SXSW chicks who ended up outing Austin being with Jake when they weren't ever supposed to.
Haven't quite figured out yet how it all works, but I definitely believe Mgmnt is using young fans to have "encounters" and thereby GPS the guys where they need to or in Austin/Chlo's case, relay some kind of validity to their fake relationship.
Maybe Mgmnt bribes them with something as simple as the opportunity to get close to the celebrity, or maybe some level of future employment. But I have absolutely no doubt there are fan accounts being used for ulterior purposes.
How better to be convincing, right? Who would ever suspect a young female fan who says all the right things? Who use Tumblr & Twitter jargon, overly dramatic capping of letters, and lets loose with a few of those all-too-familiar spastic "asldkqpijq4knlefalkmds". Right?
They are the perfect cover.
Don't misunderstand some of my listed "traits", though. Those are some of the very things that I find infectious. It's too bad because I enjoy the enthusiasm & unabashed affection of the young fans. I love the fans' energy, their creativity and some of the melodrama, lol.
But having had a few encounters now, I can see mgmnt using some of these types of accounts for lying purposes with increasing frequency.
There's a twitter account in Jake's Twitter search that I think that is definitely a mgmnt "sponsored" account. I began noticing her in my Jake search more and more regularly (when you search Jake as daily as I do, you begin to recognize accounts and new ones stand out).
Well, having gone back to the very beginning of her account tweets, she came online in late March with the tweet of "BACK! The f* I've got hacked :((("
And she would appear to be a huge Jake fan. She says she's 23 years old.
But as I looked back through the tweets, I notice several things. She tweets all of the GPS tweets - the ones that place Jake where mgmnt wants him to appear to be. She tweets obsessively about him and Heath (if you're going to ship him with a guy, then it's anyone but Austin). She also tweets lots of pics of Jake with various females and ships him with several of them, thus the straight push.
So she's an ideal "new" fan that Mgmnt would want on his search timeline. Tweets what they want out there about Jake.
Amazingly, her account arose from the twitter graveyard after the SXSW debacle.

You are definitely onto something, PG. In the One Direction fandom these so-called “fans” are inevitably associated with “Update Accounts” and/or “1D Alerts”. Somehow these, mostly girls, always seem to get inside info before anyone else. They show up at airports, restaurants, clubs, concerts, etc., anywhere one of the guys just happens to be. In fact, one of those privileged teens flew into LA from London the day before the infamous Freddie Reign “baby” was born in January 2016. One might ask, how did this young civilian get the financial resources to fly into Los Angeles from London, and why was her timing so impeccable to touch down right before the PR baby was born.
The answer: Simon Cowell and his hired hands are experts at using fans to help sell whatever narrative/image they are shipping at the time. Money is no expense, especially when they get to use the financial resources of their clients to keep them closeted. So you are definitely not imagining that Management uses fans and social media to manipulate and even create reality. They are often introduced into a situation to help sell the heterosexuality of clients as well. Some of these "fans" are clueless about how they are being used. Others are quite savvy about the role they are playing, but simply don't care. They are rewarded with tickets to Sold Out concerts, special access to the guys at meet and greets, autographs, pics with their idols, backstage passes, etc. They like being considered part of the "in crowd."

Remember the two gals who were right there next to Austin at SXSW and one of them took her pic with him, the purple haired girl? You can see part of her hair in the pic at the top of this post. Look at how close she is to Austin. And the prince himself, Mr. Jake.
They're right there by the SUV, right next to Jake and Austin. Come on, in what world is that happening the way we've been watching since 2012? Maybe Austin, but not Jake. He's too paranoid, too private now.
Well, it's Wednesday and the countdown is on for this year's JibCon. What will it bring? I have a pretty fair idea, I think, but we'll see, we'll see.
For those who are not as aware about Jared Padalecki & Jensen Ackles, they have quite the convention circuit every year. I can't say for sure because I don't know anything about the Star Trek conventions. Weren't they first? I'm recalling that old Saturday Night Live skit with William Shatner at a con. LOLLLL, all I remember is that it cracked me up.
Star Trek was first most likely, but wow Supernatural and particularly Jared/Jensen have shown just what kind of a gold mine those things can be, right? Some of you know that I went to a Supernatural convention a couple of years ago in San Francisco. M&M and I went and I'll never forget it. Once in a lifetime opportunity. Those guys are making money hand over fist and the prices have gone up even more since I attended. I wonder how much of all that con money goes into their retirement bank.
After they're done filming for the season in late April, the J's have a summer break and that's when they go to conventions that are overseas. The JibCon is in Italy and if you ask me, it is the showcase for Jensen and his meard, Misha Collins. I have a most unpopular opinion regarding Jared Padalecki's position with JibCon and how he seems to have missed it for the last couple of years with rather dramatic flair and was quite vocal about it on the J2 blog known as Spn Gossip which is on Live Journal. Have been beaten up quite emphatically for it, too. LOL!
Aw well, sometimes.....anyway, it's not just something pulled out of a hat. And this year, it's been said already that Jared's beard, I mean wife Genevieve is likely going to be there. I'll be quite curious to see how this year's JibCon goes.
Well, things were a bit noisy as far as the guys are concerned yesterday. I don't think there could be anymore pan-banging than what Jake was doing. And I don't know, but he could still be looking for folks to pose for pictures with out at the ol' ballpark. In the dark. You've gotta grin at that kind of zeal. I think maybe Jake's been peeking online at his guy's convention photo ops just a tad too much and had an itch to see what it might feel like. ;-)
These next several days in the J2 and Jaustin fandom could be quite the spectacle.

First thing first thank you for your invitation. I'm a huge fan of OMG so it's kinda exciting now commenting here with you about... well, I'm an Austin big fan (and I've always loved your point of view about him and Jake) but I know well also J2 (I love SPN!!) so, there are so many interesting topics of discussion.
... And I want to apologize for my imperfect english. I'm learning, I swear, but I'm from Italy so I can't guarantee any results!
