Happy Passover, Happy Easter, and Happy Spring to our readers from Narnia Dispatches! It is a time of celebration of renewal and re-emergence!
We thought that metaphoric gif would strike a favorable chord with many of you here (as well as our frequent OTP's *wink*). But we're not here for mushrooms. We're here for an Easter runway of our fellas in some of their all-time finest finery. And who knows, this may have to be a two-parter. We don't know where this Easter train is headed, we're flying by the tiniest hair of our bunny tails. So let's wind up Peter Lawford (bc this author just is not really a fan of Fred Astaire OOPS!) and get to it! Get down, Peter
Here's Niall "Nialler" Horan to start us off:
The fine Mr. Eric Hosmer,
Mr. Louis Tomlinson:
Gus Kenworthy and Matt Wilkas:
Lovely, fellas, lovely!!
How about newly announced candidate for POTUS, son of South Bend IN Mayor Pete Buttigieg and his husband, Chasten Glezman. Here they are on their wedding day, June 16, 2018. We think there's one of our OTP couples who were also married on that day!
The beautiful Zayn Malik:
And here's Josh Duhamel, who does salt & pepper proud:
and sneaking in a picture of him and his son, Axl from 2018:
Mr. Jake Gyllenhaal posing this author a huge challenge on which runway snap to use and believe it or not, this is from 2018:
Mr. Travis Kelce, tight end for the KC Chiefs!! Holy Smokes.
Knocked out cold, Travis. You knocked us out.
Austin P. McKenzie and Kevin McHale, not in suits, but because they both look quite amazing here:
Jensen Ackles - look at this rascal:
And Jared, but of course!
The 2018 NFL MVP and Chiefs Quarterback - are you sitting down? Mr. Patrick Mahomes II !!
Hot. Damn. Eggplant never looked so good.
Mr. Austin Nichols,
Harry Styles in an incredible iridescent purple:
the simply resplendent Liam Payne:
In the Would-You-Pleeze-Turn-Around-And-Look-This-Way category, Kris Allen this past March at the Women That Soar Awards:
Kristopherrrrr!! That is a million to one shot, LOL, would you just turn....this way... *sob*
lol. And so the least we can do is wave hello to Adam Lambert now.
And there we have it. There is this year's Narnia Easter Runway, full of swag, stature, brilliance and snap. We wish all our readers a Happy Easter, Happy Passover and Happy Spring. We welcome the light, the warmer temperatures, longer days, the smell of fresh flowers, the feel of the earth in our fingers and under our toes, and perhaps a few pairs of summer jorts for a few of our faves might be in our future. ;D

Happy Easter, everyone!!! This has to be one of my favorite playlists - all kinds of uplifting, positive music!
I don't know why the Music player isn't working automatically like it used to. But at least I just have to hit the "STOP" button, then hit "PLAY" and it'll play. But grrrrrr..
So old Aust has turned 39 today. I love all the new social media "accounts" which seemed to just spring up out of nowhere in celebration. "Passionate" fans who apparently never existed before. Truly pathetic stuff. Here's hoping the big guy grows a pair some day. In the meantime, have a good one.
"Aust", lol. We saw someone on twitter call him this, it cracked us both up. Who calls him "Aust"? LOL. I've never seen anyone call him "Aust".
Jake, do you call him "Aust"???? ;-)
Oops, forgot I had my Sweet Tarts jellybean avatar still going on. I'm switching to Bandit because I'm just a tad cranky this morning. Only because I've been unable to get this post done. I started watching Coco yesterday and he's a little poodle mix. Very sweet, but he is a very finicky eater and he tends to go in the house a lot. I have to monitor him closely to try and eliminate the going-in-the-house. And he is a lap dog, so he loves to sit in your lap. Which is fun, except just not all the time! lol.
I notice a difference, I think, between many of the dogs (that I watch or have watched) of single women and dogs/cats who also have another man or woman in the house. The latter seem to be more independent. The former seem to be clingy and high maintenance. It's not necessarily a bad quality to want to be very close, but Coco is a bit too much. I don't know, it can be a bit guilt-tripping when I need to do something like work on a post and he stares at me while I'm at the table instead of in a chair where he wants to get in my lap. His mama is probably used to it, but I'm not used to always having a dog in my lap, lol. There needs to be some flexibility!!
We'll go for a walk this afternoon if it doesn't rain. It's been so darn windy around here. So anyway, apologies it's been awhile because I intended for this post to go up earlier in the week.
I used to watch this guy's dogs and he likes big dogs. Puddy was an Australian Shepherd and he used to have several labs. He has this really big white dog named Peterman. His current lab is named Mulva. Can you tell he's a Seinfeld fan? lol.
Those two dogs were independent and they loved to play and go for walks. Very well adjusted, but they were rambunctious and both were jumpers, unfortunately. But very sweet. It's weird though when you go to bed and his dogs always get kind of dominant over who gets to sleep next to me. And Puddy used to whine alot. But otherwise, they were very good and didn't go in the house. Pretty well adjusted.
It's been a real lesson in nature to watch so many dogs and see how they all behave differently with all kinds of different personalities, quirks and "issues". I'm so fortunate because all of them get the best treatment from their owners and most have all been rescue dogs.

Why are they drawing Mysterio to be so hot now
...
Oh right because Jake Gyllenhaal.
At first reading this looks like a positive comment, until you figure out that the poster is upset with the interpretation of Mysterio he sees coming.
Over the years, the appearance and character of Mysterio has changed in appearance. But, now there's a completely different handsome and "cool uncle" version that's emerging, which he is not supposed to be. The one thing comic book lovers hate is when their canon is disrupted for no reason at all. And, we know Jake when his directors allow him to rewrite scripts and insert his interpretation of a story or character. Left to his own devices, Jake will stick to his bubble privilege and change something to suit his "creativity." Another controversy is that Mysterio is supposed to be a villain, but it looks like Jake has turned the character into a hero. Jake has been playing the anit-hero for years, embracing the sinister and profligate. Yet, with his new role, when he has the chance to actually play a villain, he wants to be the heroic figure instead. Truly unbelievable. Although it does say a lot about Jake's self-absorbing ways when it comes to his career. I guess Jake feels he has little control of his life and closet so he tries to overcompensate by forcing his viewpoints onto his roles.
