Please Be Kind and Recycle: The Padalecki's and Jake Gyllenhaal Are Doing Their Part

Well, a couple of Narnia's faves were in entertainment announcements recently and both parties could be said to be making Green-minded decisions.  What do I mean by that?

Hoping to capitalize on the release of a trailer for Denis Villeneuve's new film Dune, Jake's publicist will not pass on a chance to associate her client's name with the current top trend.  In this case, we have word that Jake is also now working with Denis, who was his director for Prisoners and Enemy.   You remember Denis, set up via interviews to have likely been the "co worker" in Ted's Blind Vice:  Toothy Gets Slutty With Room Service:

"T2 had the nerve to not exactly discreetly hole up in a fancy hotel room recently with a co worker.  From one of his movies no less." - eonline March 23, 2012. 

And according to Jake, now in 2020, they're working on a "secret project".  Sometime.  Some day.  In the future.  If you can't say anything definitive about the project though, why is there an "announcement" on a "some day", "secret" project?  

As opposed to this announcement which quietly came one day after the Denis hint-hint:

Certainly the details provided in the Deadline article look 100% more definitive and out-in-the-open than the Denis "secret project". 

Regarding this newly announced film of Jake's:  don't be deceived by the seemingly "innocent" description of the movie, The Guilty, a flick which, according to Wikipedia in this total synopsis, is a "crime thriller".  If you were to have read the tweets, it sounds intriguing, everyone loves a crime thriller right?

Well, without going into detail, but knowing this is a giveaway anyway, again Narnia warns of a *movie spoiler*.   

An unexpected death which occurs in a screenplay which shows no redeeming quality as it is, looks to be a driving force for Jake and his people to accept this role.  The cause behind the death sounds like too many real-life story headlines on a Yahoo or Daily Fail news page, the more gruesome and tragic, seemingly the more desired.  In this case, it's the identity of the character who dies which seems to be highly suspect.  Shock value.  

This follows a long trend of movie roles for Jake since signing with WME/Endeavor, which promote him as "drawn" to the "dark and edgy", the OTT, the "chaotic", the "slimy and sleazy", along with the repetition of death, broken relationships, and loss of spouse. 

In other words, the roles, the scripts, the press junket questions and interviews, and the magazine covers commonly center around how he doesn't have children, wishes he had children, and is ready to have children, although at the present time, he is not a father. Who could forget this moment on the show with enabler Willie Geist, Sunday Today?  Right at :30.

Obviously, it was of utmost importance to Jake's publicist that he make this public statement "for the record".  And he obliged quite emphatically.  

Too bad we have an entire Masterpost,  Jake, which is comprised of overwhelming and impossible-to-deny clues that you have and continue to blow into a Canadian wind.

And now with the plot twist in his future movie, it seems Jake and his team keep wanting to take it up a notch in the hope of trying to prove he couldn't possibly be domesticated and enjoying raising a young family. All Narnia can say is,

And then, there was this announcement a couple of weeks ago.

 

This was a mostly unexpected turn of events; beard Genevieve Cortese Padalecki seemingly unable to let go of Jared's coattails, will be appearing in his new show, Walker - playing his deceased wife. 

She had already appeared in his previous show, Supernatural.  There was also that guest stint at the Supernatural Jus in Bello fan convention in 2016, where she served a dual role as major-occupant-of-Jared's-time, freeing up Jensen so that he and Misha Collins could feed the Destiel/Cockles fans with their annual pandering show.  Fans also saw Cortese on the red carpet at the anniversary episode parties of Supernatural.  Charity events. Running marathons. Hockey games. Blogs and podcasts.  Instagram overload.  Even inside the walls of the Texas Capital while advocating for David's Law in 2017 - how many of these people knew of the pretense going on here?

"Wife" "Mother"  "Wife" "Mother"  "Wife" "Mother".  

 

10+ years of sandwich-boarding "Wife of" and "Mother of Jared's children".

With Supernatural ending and a new chapter beginning for Jared, one would think there wouldn't continue to be a need for.....oh.

Yep, there she is again!  Like an engorged tick.  How obvious is this?  The wedding band?  Not enough.  Three children?  Not enough.  

And get a load of this tweet reminder from Sept. 14.

That tweet was a split arrow.  1) Another reminder that hey, she's Jared's "wife".  But did you notice this one?  

2)  Management is also trying to bury this infamous, legendary slip of Jared's real SO, Jensen Ackles at a fan convention, after Jared commented that Jensen knew all the stars of the Supernatural show.  And Jensen replied to his cast mate that he could do one better than that.

 

Oh, yeahhhh.  He did that. 😉

But, see how they do that?  Publicist teams love to take an organic, love-bandana shared between an OTP and duplicate a phony version with a beard, thus forever tainting the original and in some cases, switching up the Google search.

But, sorry Genevieve, your tweet is missing that ornery, telling giggle of Jensen's, you know that way he has when he knows he's done a naughty.  Like he did in 2017, in this deleted Instagram.

Nonetheless, there we go.  Recycled and Repurposed Genevieve Padalecki.   But she's safe, right?  She knows Jared and Jensen's secrets. 

And while she will at times be in Austin, TX for the filming of Walker when her character is needed, will she and Jared also be storing up videos and photos, ones which the children can be manip'ed into, while they're under Jensen/nannies' care?  The tricky part will be whenever Jensen's new show The Boys, begins to film.  But Jake and Austin know all about making the situation of two filming parents work and undoubtedly could offer some sage advice.

Isn't it interesting however, that Jared taking this new lead role in Walker totally contradicts what he had said on a convention stage back in January 2018.

"I cannot wait to stop acting."

Huh.  Wonder what happened since 2018?  That was a pretty adamant statement he made, wasn't it?  At the very least, maybe he intended to merely take a break.  Instead, he signed on to take the lead role in another television series as soon as Supernatural was ending and only COVID-19 has delayed the filming until at least January 2021.

COVID-19 is having a significant impact on the deeply closeted entertainment artists, whose teams try to plan many of their roles or albums well in advance.  Concert tours and filming have been pushed back, many clubs and bars are closed, and the desperate ones are seen making repeated Just Jared posts leaving restaurants in masks and gloves.  Certainly not one's most glamorous look, but for those who feel they need to be seen and not forgotten, they're out there daily.

For those like Jared/Jensen and Jake/Austin who are not only deep, deep in the closet, but are raising a family together, it would appear their publicist teams feel that despite a global pandemic, it's as important as ever that fans be reminded and shown who the men are quarantining with and who they are not with.  

And one of the easiest, smartest and inner-circle-safe ways to do this is to recycle in their public lives those who already in-the-know and are more than willing to lend their name.  One thing to also remember is that most of those willing to help out?  Are hiding secrets themselves and this is a main reason why they're willing to lend a hand.  

So, we repeatedly will see some of the same faces, a kind of recycling, if you will.  😉
