Well, this gem of a rumor started out rather low-key enough.
And then Gossip Cop had to contribute.
And then the robot tweeting started. The same wording, silly looking account names (@RedneckRag ??? I mean...), and the tweets coming in rapid fire. The characteristics all add up to a publicist/marketer creating a manipulated interest.
And then, the Blind Gossip piece.
[Blind Gossip] She’s an All-American actress, he’s a Golden Boy actor. Rumors about them as a new couple have been making for some interesting headlines.
So here’s the low-down on their relationship: They are just friends, people! Yes, they have been hanging out together. But there is a really good reason why they would never actually “date” date: He has a Significant Other. Who definitely isn’t an actress. But who definitely acts.
What would his Ex-Girlfriend say about all this? Not much. She knows that they are never getting back together.
So the next time you see All-American and Golden Boy hanging out together, know that they definitely aren’t doing anything intimate. They each just don’t mind making some headlines the day after hanging out with an attractive, famous, age-appropriate (for a change), “eligible” member of the opposite sex who lives in the same city.

Due to space issues, the comments are edited, but there are 35 mentions of Austin in the comments. 35. Needless to say, this had to be a disappointment to Jake's Team, who, by 2013, were already working on erasing Austin from Jake's history and physical vicinity. The last thing they had to have wanted was to have a gossip blind poo-pooing the idea of a relationship which may have been getting test floated and even worse, have it crop dusted with numerous commenters bringing up Austin and Grey Goose. LOL! Classic moment in Jake and Austin lore.

There was a report, in Grazia of all places, that Katie and Jake were hooking up. Katie is the quintessential All-American girl who had an age-inappropriate (I suppose, 16 years isn’t TOO far) husband, Tom Cruise. It’s been widely speculated that Jake and Austin are a thing and Jake’s girlfriend who would “never ever get back together” with him is Taylor.

Golden Boy is more of a reference to an Award..either an Oscar or a Golden Globe..Jake G. has been nominated for an Oscar for Brokeback and nominated for a Golden Globe for Love and Other Drugs.
Also..Jake rode horses in Brokeback..and there’s a line from The Outsiders that says “Stay gold, Ponyboy”. Jake was in The Prince of Persia and everyone knows that royalty has gold..and so on.
Jake G. (aka Toothy Tile) and Austin Nichols (Grey Goose) have been together for years. Ted Casablanca, formerly of E! Online did stories on Toothy Tile for years. He has since left E! and there will be no more blinds coming from him.

well, parts of this are pretty obvious. “golden boy” is Jake Gyllenhaal…”golden boy” = “golden globe winner” and taylor swift (the ex) has already said that her song “never getting back together” was about Jake G.
