Happy 45th Birthday, You Ol' Rascal, Jake Gyllenhaal

 

We at Narnia Dispatches couldn't let this day go by without wishing a very Happy 45th Birthday to one of our OG's, Jacob B. Gyllenhaal.    

And we don't know any other way to celebrate than to remind ourselves what this lil' rascal looks like because we haven't seen him in forever and he just did crop up to tell everyone he's still alive.

So let's celebrate this guy; he is turning the Big 4-5, just like his hubs, Austin, turned back in April.

And of course, since 2012, Jake has been turning himself inside-out placing himself forever away from wherever Austin is supposed to be at birthday time.  😂😂  

But we at Narnia have been watching their story since 2008 (M&M for a few years longer than that), been watching all of the GPS shenanigans, followed by their Oops and then by our Scoops (starting on Oh My Godot blogspot and then here at Narnia), and we can say with absolute solid confidence:

He is not going to be away from his family.  So whether he and the fam are really in France or (as he was trying to portray), the UK, Jake is celebrating the way he wants to - with his family.

This guy has been wrecking havoc all his years.

 

 

It's like what TV character Roy DeSoto tells his paramedic partner, Johnny Gage in a squad conversation:

"Those guys are gonna be on my back all day about that interview this morning." -  Johnny

"I don't know.  You know, the way I see it, uh ... you've got nothing to worry about.  I cut you off before you even had a chance to get your thoughts formed." - Roy

"Yeah, I know, but you know how those guys have a way of twisting everything around." - Johnny 

"Oh, you'll handle 'em, just like you always do." - Roy

"I know, I will handle it.  By myself." - Johnny

And this is Jake.  No matter what he does - all the public denials, all the pouting and frowning, all the disappearance from view ... doesn't matter.  He'll always be Jake and loved here at Narnia.  He's all of this and lots of good stuff that we used to see way back when.  Now? We just aren't privy to see it and that's fine.  He's living his life as he should be able to do.

So, here he was allegedly a few days ago on December 12, with someone, we have no idea who that is. 🙈 Allegedly attending Guy Ritchie's son Rocco Ritchie's opening art exhibition:

Happy Birthday, Jake Gyllenhaal - number 44!

Well, look who's 44 now.  Mr. Jakers - where do the years go?  Goodness gracious.  

We at Narnia don't want to make a big fanfare about it, but we did want to salute Jake and wish him a safe and healthy path to 45. We are assuming he, Austin and the fam are in the state of New York or New Jersey somewhere celebrating.   Hope their California digs made it through the recent fires alright.

As GoosesTile, I must take advantage of Narnia's space to say this about Jussie Smollett's overturned "conviction" - I'm not surprised and was always wondering if he was going to have to go back to prison after being released the first time (he didn't).  I always felt that he had been set up and used my twitter to express that opinion and belief.  

As an open member of the LGBTQ community, as a man of color, and as a human rights activist, Jussie stood for everything that TPTB aim to corral and control. Again - Jussie was out.  He was proud.  He was successful.  

And so that made him a target.  And so like other false, alleged criminal accusations, the case "fell apart" by having loopholes.  Will Jussie's career be allowed to continue?  That remains to be seen.  But thankfully, he has been set free.  

Narnia could do a post looking at many of these alleged cases which mysteriously fall apart like a house of cards, resulting in dropped charges or in Jared Padalecki's case, non-existent hearings and any updates or resolutions pretty much disappearing from sight.

Oh look, an alleged eyewitness who just now comes out of the woodwork with his account of the alleged incident involving Liam Payne.  He certainly sounds "traumatized", doesn't he?  smh.

We're not dignifying this phony "storytelling" by showing the entire post.  As always, TPTB cannot resist embellishing.  In their eyes, the more "details", the more convincing they think it sounds.  In reality, the gang-piling of witnesses or "inside sources", especially when they occur on a greatly delayed basis like this one, is a huge red flag that we're being spoon-fed.  

Just stop.

Narnia continues to monitor this incident and will post when we feel it's the best time to do so.  In the meantime, we might give the movie Pinocchio another watch.

Happy 43rd to the Elusive Austin Don Nichols

 

 

April 24 is today's date and one that we celebrate because it is Austin Nichols' birthday.  

It is his 43rd year of celebrating and we, in turn, celebrate him, by remembering the 43rd sonnet of William Shakespeare.

We don't see Austin or Jake much anymore unless there is a project being worked on, so when we do, it is a special event. We know that they are busy with their real lives, for one can't help but be insanely busy when a large family is being raised.  There are sports to teach and watch participation in, perhaps some homework to assist with, sibling squabbles to sort out, birthdays to celebrate, holidays to prepare for.  

And though Austin pops his head out once in a great while to make it appear as though it's just he and dog Otis journeying the mountains together, Narnia knows better.  And sometimes we may pause when we see photos/videos of Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles with their offspring, or anyone else, really, in a family setting, and we know that Jake and Austin are experiencing the same.

But today, it's about him and we will look back on "solo" Austin, some images of his life  before he even dreamed that he would someday be someone's dad or someone's spouse.  And images after he became someone else's "old man" and "Dad". 😏
