Monday Musings: Louis Tomlinson Making a Power Move and Caution: Watch for Speeding Baby-Making Trains

Don't you love to open with promising, good news?!

This was certainly an uplifting, mind-blowing throwing-it-out-there by none other than Mr. Louis Tomlinson.  There was the lead-in:

And then he lowered the boom!

Followed by the now-don't-go-totally-hog-wild-quite-yet:

Well, to be fair though, to take the idea to a social media platform like Twitter, the proposal has to be more than an idea.  But while Louis was also probably testing the waters, there cannot be a doubt that he's been working on this very idea during the noticeable quiet time since his online concert, a quiet time which has also coincided with Liam's quiet time, barring the sudden interest in soccer.  And Zayn's quiet time.  And Niall's quiet time, barring the ramped up golf promo.

What a perfect idea, right?  Music management.  As someone who has learned the ropes the excruciatingly hard way, what better and sharper person to take on this ambitious endeavor than one Louis Tomlinson?  Narnia believes this sounds like an A+ idea and congratulates Louis on the idea flotation and future lab work on said idea.  πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

And how about this?  A positive Just Jared post on this development - this is the content we like to see!  Narnia's approval rating is off the chart.

• With Winston Marshall trending Saturday night, March 6, due to his apparent support of author Andy Ngo, who wrote a book about his belief in Antifa.

Wow.  And thus, with one tweet, ol' Winston cost the singing group he is a member of, Mumford & Sons, the support of many fans while garnering high-profile negative publicity.  We at Narnia also couldn't help remembering the whole 2011 Railroad Revival trip that Jake Gyllenhaal traveled on with the group and who could forget this moment?

Supposedly, or at least during the Revival Tour, Jake was said to be good buds with Winston.

Jake Gyllenhaal linked arms with Winston Marshall, of the band Mumford & Sons, during the Jazz and Heritage Festival in New Orleans on Friday.  The actor is apparently good friends with Winston, who plays the banjo for the Grammy-winning group - he recently was spotted hanging out with them on their Railroad Revival, which took Mumford & Sons from city to city on a special train. - "Jake Gyllenhaal Rocks Out With His Mumford & Sons Bud", Popsugar, May 02, 2011.

In reality, Winston Marshall as well as band member Ben Lovett were used as meards for Jake, to distract while the trip was being used to cover for Jake's whereabouts during the time period which involved the birthday of real life spouse, Austin Nichols.  The term meard is used for both men not because of an abundance of pictures, but because of the onslaught of publicity surrounding the pictures of Jake with the two men. An appropriate word to describe the variety vs. actual quantity of content would be - overkill.

So now we add Winston Marshall to two other questionable choices Jake and his team have made of those he uses for mearding, cover purposes or working with, i.e. Lance Armstrong (who, along with Matthew McConaughey provided reason for Jake to be seen in Texas when in reality he was with again, real life spouse Austin) and Harvey Weinstein (who produced Jake's movie Southpaw).

• And in the category of how fast life events can happen.

A brief timeline, if you will.

- September 1, 2020  Patrick Mahomes gets engaged to Brittany Matthews, at the same event and venue as the handing out of the Super Bowl Championship rings to the entire team.

- September 29, 2020  Mahomes and Matthews announce they're expecting, along with picture of an ultrasound which seems to be one of a fetus roughly at 3 months.  Many expectant parents don't make we're-having-a-baby announcements until the first trimester has passed, so the timing seemed believable, albeit unusual considering their lengthy courtship. The Mahomes pregnancy is proclaimed on Instagram as a "small detour".

- February 20, 2021  "Sterling Skye Mahomes" is supposed to have been born.  The state she was born in is not known.

Apparently, no one in the Kansas City media, Chiefs fandom or national media have even wondered out loud about the seemingly early arrival of baby Mahomes.  According to E Online, the due date was February 24.  Which actually then moves everything up an entire month and so that points out the even more odd timing of the "small detour" baby announcement which came a month after the engagement.  Only if one is counting, of course.  πŸ˜‰

Right, right...so, February 24, apparently.  Is it no wonder that no one in the press ever knew the expected due date beforehand?

And barely a few weeks out of the gate and supposedly already "out on the town".

Barely two weeks later and snap! Back into old clothes and out of the house.  When a comment points out the miraculous snap-back, someone else is ready with the explanation on how easy it is to bounce back from the first birth, particularly if you're small, etc. etc.

And in a picture at allegedly 12 days old, this is the size of a newborn who was close to 7 lbs. at birth??

Meanwhile, all this time, known bestie of Patrick's, #87 Travis Kelce is sure to like every single baby update and in fact, instead of congratulating his teammate on the new offspring, is seen on twitter offering his best wishes to Matthews instead, whom he doesn't work with every day of the working season.  πŸ‘€

And the topper to all of this is that a wedding year, I mean wedding date has been announced in another Instagram post:

#2022

What's another year, anyway, other than to wait for another possible Super Bowl appearance to take full advantage of.  πŸ˜‰

• Oh, I know, Narnia is feeling a bit snarky today.  These parts are not for the weak or sensitive, no sirreee.

But let's get on to a sign that we're inching closer to that paradise Narnia is holding out hope for.  Inching closer....and closer....

Austin and Jared's twitter handles in the same tweet!!!

PG saved everyone from having to look at the bobblehead app because in reality, the tweet has Austin's head bobbing all over the place.  πŸ˜„   As Grand Funk Railroad once sang, "I'm Getting Closer to My Home".

Imagine.  Austin and Jared in the same frame without the barriers!  Could it happen?   Imagine.  It could be......utterly delightful.

• And how nice was it to see who's still got it?

Yes gentlemen, no doubt.  Was there ever any doubt?   Classic pose here.

There were many usual laughing J2 moments and it was nice to see their fans be able to enjoy seeing these two together.  Narnia will pass on all of the "miss you" and "separation" narratives, fellas. πŸ˜‰ Nice try, though.  They're not as apart as they want fans to believe, but Narnia will play nice tonight!  It was great to see them together on screen again, albeit through Creation Entertainment.

Cutting this Musings short, just a few highlights of the past several days.

OH!   Hold up!

And Jake is still "filming" Ambulance.  According to IHJ, the latest round of pictures are from "on set in Los Angeles" on March 7.

Awwww, there he is!!

Jake really setting a new standard for the mask.  πŸ‘ŒπŸ‘Œ  Looks like Ambulance has the same unlimited filming budget that Don't Worry Darling had, filming for days and weeks!   Is that Jake perhaps checking in with the hubs on his phone to make sure the house was still standing?  LOL!

So, Austin in Austin, TX, working......and Jake shown to be "filming still" in Los Angeles.

Yeah, okay, right, right.  And finally, on that note, Narnia bids goodnight and see you next time!
