This is us as we see that we're in the throes of the last couple days of February and see the month of March approaching:
LOL! March is practically upon us! This just doesn't seem possible, does it? Longer daylight. There is thawing going on. We can feel it coming! We're not out of the winter woods yet, but this is the downhill slide towards Spring, for sure.
It's been a tumultuous fall and winter, but guess what has still been riding that track all this time? Fandoms. Whether it's been the NFL, Directioners, Ziam'ers, Jared and/or Jensen, college basketball hoops, Larries, video gamers, and now the MLB, fans are finding ways to stay engaged with who or what they love to spend spare fun time in.
And fandoms are 24/7, 365 days a year.
Narnia goes back through our Time Machine Look-Back and shares some of our notes:
• On January 31, Narnia joined the masses in celebrating the one-year anniversary of the release of Louis Tomlinson's album, Walls. As Louis said, it was a day for him to celebrate with his fans. Louis' fans are like no other - loving the man that he is, the extremely talented artist that he is, and helping to pick up the promotion slack that his "team" never wanted to do. There were enough positive reviews that Louis can hang his hat on and to debut at number 1 in Argentina, Mexico, Portugal and Scotland, followed by peaking at number 4 on the UK's Official Charts and number 9 on the U.S. Billboard 200, are accomplishments to be very proud of.
Huge salute to Mike Adam, radio broadcaster out of New York City, who always has supported the members of One Direction and uses his available platform for the powerful good! 👍💪👏
Louis was on Twitter the day of Walls anniversary, letting his fans know he saw them, he heard them and celebrated along with them.
*language disclaimer* 😉 (you know how Louis is!)
Narnia, along with all his fans, looks forward to seeing what Louis' next work will be.
• And did our guy Austin Nichols get some ink???
No need to get too excited or wring your hands (depending on how you feel about ink!), lol. In the replies, Austin does say that the tattoo is not real and is for work.
Work????? Like....Walker, Texas Ranger? JARED'S show, hmmmm? As it turns out, Walker was exactly what Austin was talking about! This ink hint did throw ol' PG for a loop into a whining tailspin for a moment. Good one, Austin!
• Unless one is hiding under a social media rock, who wasn't witness to all of the social media hullabaloo about Armie Hammer and his "cannibalistic" ways? This guy was trending on social media, his face plastered on Just Jared and TMZ with a variety of garish, scandalous headlines ranging from his pandemic travel woes to marriage problems to bedroom antics. And now the entire world is supposed to have been privy to his "cannibal" fetish via social media "leaks" and a sudden influx of more-than-willing-to-share former lovers. There doesn't seem to be any kind of publicist around to try and stop these leaks; they're bursting out of control.
And as seems to be the way of scandals and cancel culture, Armie is "having" to bow out of movie projects, like this one here. Oh, look who's taking his place, a fave of Narnia's - Josh Duhamel. What a small world!
Oh, the fallout. The shame. Tell me, was Armie ever going to do these movies? The dominoes were all lined up to start falling.
And meanwhile, Armie Hammer, who somehow had those Visa issues even though who his wife 👀 and kids never did, is still over in the States with the quite-public reason for not spending the last two holidays of 2020 with his public family. And het cred, if he needs it, to last him for the rest of his life.
This isn't even the topper. Did you see how this huge "scandal" set up and is going to benefit a former co-star and director?
Timothee and Luca Guadagnino are going to work together on a movie called, "Bones and All", which apparently has some cannibal themes to the story line. You can't make this kind of "coincidence" up.
Now, this author doesn't claim to know the secrets of Hammer's bedroom, but the outlandish and brush-fire media coverage of "scandalous" sexual behavior has become a favorite tactic to hide those deep in the Hollywood closet. The convenience of visa "issues", preventing Armie from being with his family at Thanksgiving and Christmas is too much to believe after they allegedly decided to all flee to the Cayman Islands as the United States was in the throes of the pandemic.
The coinciding revelation of Chalamet and Luca's movie was the crowning blow. The puzzle pieces are jumping in to form just yet another picture of the ending of yet another contract. Guess how long this marriage of Hammer and Chambers lasted? Ten years. Nice round number.
The ending of closet contracts do not go quietly anymore. They're accompanied by a marching band of accusations and scandals with enough hetero credential to buy the involved parties some alone time or if they're fortunate, maybe a pledge to "never marry again".
And the "fallout" continues. The dropping by his agency WME and publicist seem like legit moves.
But Narnia looks at the limited "dating tree" of Armie Hammer and the branches via Rumer Willis and Jessica Lucas (albeit very small on Lucas), the "few months in 2020" with American business professional Courtney Vucekoch, and getting alot of publicity from this is an American model and student at the Parsons School of Design in NYC, Paige Lorenze. Lorenze has over 19k subscribers on her You Tube channel and 100k Instagram followers for posting lifestyle content.
How did Lorenze and Hammer meet, anyway? According to eonline:
"But when I moved to Los Angeles, we got in touch."
According to The Sun, they dated for four months.
In this horror story article on The Sun, the key paragraph seems to be right here:
"I'm not trying to kink shame at all. But I think that dangerous men [sometimes] use this as like a smoke screen for abusing and hurting women for their own sexual pleasure." - Paige Lorenze
This statement is accented throughout the article with the phrases or words,
"has been seen with a few women since his separation"
"tie up women"
"he's caused a lot of women pain." followed by "And there is power in numbers."
"as a number of women came forward"
Boy, that Armie has had a string of female victims/conquests, doesn't it sound like? Lots of kink and bedroom antics with "a lot of women". Meanwhile, that 10-year contract, I mean marriage has ended and could all of this graphic publicity be the stamp that may buy Armie a lot of solo time? Is it also a cover for anything else going on behind the scenes?
Narnia will continue to watch the developments on this story to see where Armie's career goes and how he picks up the pieces that seem to be shattered everywhere.
• Some OMG'ers and J2'ers will recognize this account, who is being coy on Twitter by claiming to have had eye contact with Harry Styles:
Very familiar name - she is a player in the media world and we have seen her "help" Jake and Tay Swift. I mean, this was from October 22, 2012. She devoted an entire article to informing the masses about the lyrics to Swift's album Red. Here's a snippet of the article from the site cadlymack used to write from, zap2it.
On and on and on. Come on, cadlymack. And then there was that interview that cadlymack did with Austin, published on zap2it back in February 2012 (entitled One Tree Hill's Austin Nichols Draws on Real Frustration for a Heartbreaking Performance) amazingly enough, during the same time period as when Jake and he were at the Berlinale Film Festival together, where she asked him the lead-up question of where he drew his emotions from just so that he could allegedly reply with how he did not have children of his own. The ultimate denial.
Isn't that interesting the interview denial occurred just prior to Austin being spotted, photo'd and video'd with Jake? And what happened during that trip? The famous photos at the hair salon where that is sure as rain to be Austin in the plaid shirt behind the glass, covered in our Honorary Day 32 of 30 Days of Toothy Tile, Grey Goose and the Baby Tiles.
LOL! How ironic is that? All the trouble gone to just for Austin to be quoted on zap2it about not "having children" of his own, only to have what were bet-worthy signs of a joint parental panic due to what (or rather, who)? Their children. The salon opened up just for Jake. And that is not Jake nor
Off the track again! Back to cadlymack. Oh, she's a player in the game alright. Here she was in 2017, "helping" both the Ackles and the Padalecki's with the het cred.
Key words in her tweet? "your families". Sort of like Louis and the key words he uttered, "my girlfriend" in that whole 2017 airport incident which M&M analyzed in Narnia's post, Just Another Saturday Morning in the Larrie Fandom. And before the "your families" tweet; there was a helping hand for Jensen and Danneel.
And then cadlymack moved on to One Direction and here she was in 2016 trying to GPS-place Louis with then-beard Danielle Campbell on July 4:
Look at that, she's been on the scene helping to set narratives or GPS placement with count 'em: how many of Narnia's Superstar closeted couples? Jake and Austin. Jared and Jensen. Louis and Harry.
All we can say is, that is quite the track record...
• Unless they're guest spotting on Jared's show Walker, chances are Narnia's faves are not being seen too much, particularly any of the One Direction members. Since Holivia has been front and center, the other four men have either not been seen at all or moved to promoting golf or soccer! Or the back of their head has been used to promote a recent "addition", a la Zayn Malik.
Isn't that interesting the way the other four One D members have been tucked away from regular visibility, i.e. making music, promoting music, out and about? The time lapse is becoming noticeable.
Well, maybe not quite! lol. But one has to admit this is very strange and quite noticeable as it seems to be a collective scenario.
But in the meantime, we'll jog our memories of what some of our MIA's look like.

You know, that interview from zap2it with cadlymack and Austin, you can't find that anymore - it's been taken down.
But on OMG, the day it was brought up and discussed was Feb 8, 2012. And it was on an OMG post where Jake had recently arrived at Berlinale. The timing!
So did Jake's people have that interview done with Austin's denial of having any children, knowing that Austin was going to Germany and just in case he was spotted, they would have that denial on record. One has to look at the time period of Berlinale - the guys had had their sushi lunch, Jake driving Austin's truck for the pap cameras with the bottles of juice, all of the Jaustin shoutouts, and so they were prepared for Austin to be sighted, but hey let's go ahead and have this children denial on record...
Hard to say. We'll never know if Austin was accidentally spotted by Dana Delaney or if that was a true Oops. It seemed like a true Oops at the time. He didn't reply to it either, did he?
What a special time that was. I know that so many fans were so disappointed when things dramatically changed and we all realized that they were going deep, deep, deeper into the closet. And that was their goodbye, make some memories for their kids to see later on.
Maybe also their way of saying yeah, "us". "We". So I look back on it now and I'm so thankful they did that at least. No, it did get worse but it was their decision and so I still enjoy them.
And now we're in the process, have been in the active process for the last couple of years of watching Jensen and Jared doing the same thing. It's something to watch. They had the best teachers to watch and learn, didn't they? What worked, what didn't work.
Great post, PG. The recent Armie Hammer stuff is fascinating. But, as you say, unlike in the past when closeted folks broke up quietly, and we learned about it at Christmas (when the public is not paying much attention to celeb culture, e.g., Ryan Reynolds and Scarlett Johansson, we now have high profile scandals like Johnny Depp and Amber Heard. Interesting shift to watch in the future.
Oh, and yes. Those lavender pants of Niall cannot be ignored. I'm not sure if that's a good thing. LOL!
