Aaaah yes, it's April 24 and the birthday of one of Narnia's faves, Mr. Austin Nichols. Methodical Muser nor myself expected anything less than the usual social media shenanigans such as a now-once-in-a-blue-moon alleged random sighting of his real-life husband Jake Gyllenhaal. In New York City, no less. LOL!
The *yawn* sudden glut of "Gyllenholland" with actor Tom Holland being oh-so-willing to participate in a new pandering interview. And other assorted stand-in bromances.
Let's face it, after 13 years of following these two men and their birthdays, these annual practices are long overdue to go into a time capsule. Whatever, Mara.
And even though Austin pokes his head out of the gopher hole once in awhile, he's been disguised by a series of deards, photo manipulations, herky-jerky Tik Toks and videos, and repetitive placement on his bro-in-law's Instagram. So, what we see is usually not reflective of who or where Austin really is any longer.
And while that probably paints a dismissive picture for long-time followers, the fact that this contrivance still comes around with every special observance, it tells us that Jake and Austin are still somewhere together with their own school busload of offspring.
So, Happy Birthday, Austin. We know and we still remember and so therefore, we still stan. 😍

Haha! Jake's old man in more ways than one now, eh Austie? The big tell that it's birthday week is that even Jake gay porn is being posted on Instagram. Just like Harry can be with any guy in the world, except Louis, the same goes for Austin and Jake. These PR teams really do use the same closeted playbook. Yawn.
With all that said, "Happy Birthday" Austin. Hope that all is well with you and yours and that your man is cooking your favorite meal in celebration. Have a good one.
