Narnia Dispatches: What's Good for Grey Goose Is Good For Narnia Dispatches

Greetings to all. Hopefully, your Friday went well. Normally, the post would open with a cutesy, funny weekend gif, but these aren't normal times, are they? And while Narnia realizes that for the good of one's mental health, we can't or shouldn't hyper-obsess on our world and national tragedies and troubles, we also feel that there comes a time when discretion and moderation can be one way of showing respect, empathy and sensitivity to plights of others.

Even with the atrocity going on in the Ukraine, the subjects that Narnia deals with? They don't stop. There is one of Narnia's personal interests who is maneuvering, strategizing and/or preparing for changes in his career and personal life which we would like to make note of.

There is movement...people going into position...

Jake's "girlfriend" Jeanne Cadieu (or rather, Jake's team) has suddenly wiped clean her Instagram, barring a couple of new posts. Pffft! Gone.

Everything erased, but (presently) for a trio of posts which serve the purpose of allowing people to see who is commenting. If you're familiar with some of Cadieu's prior posts, they don't get a lot of commenting traffic, if you know what I mean. Just this past January her posts looked like this as far as neighborly hello's:

I mean, she couldn't even be bothered to say a few words. 😶

And last year, nobody paying any attention...

But now? Someone hits the Delete Button, followed by Refresh, and suddenly she's got a few in Jake's inner circle clamoring to throw in their two cents. And trust, these comments are meant to be seen and noticed, because Instagram is the Billboard of the Stars' publicists and other powers-that-be. Seen commenting:

• The Gyllenhaal matriarch (whom we haven't seen for years, but someone is operating her account) Naomi Foner.

• Matthew K Frost - Jake's former personal assistant and longtime good friend

• Chumley "Hassie" Harrison - former "girlfriend" of Jake's real-life spouse, Austin Nichols. Not that she is a member of Jake's inner circle, but we are supposed to believe that she is. 😂

• Gene Hong - longtime friend of both Jake and Austin, and "roommate" of Adam Levine. 😉 You would recognize Hong in many past photo ops of Jake's.

Quite a change in direction. And with Jake's big movie "Ambulance" premiere fast approaching on April 8, there looks to be a change in the wind and perhaps either the long-awaited "engagement" approach-eth, or we'll have one of those "Oh hey, guess what we did, kids?

The countdown begins.

Meanwhile, Austin is continuing to chronicle the life of the Gyllynichols family dog Otis. [Narnia hopes the fam pooch is not named after one of the Tiles. 😁] Allegedly, yesterday was Otis' second birthday, so this provides us with an opportunity to post an Austy pic.

Hmmm, what's with the headband??? Are we trying to hide something? Hairstyle change? Hair length? 🤔 ✂

And then, we were treated to this tweet as well. Hmmm, is Austin telling all that he is at a Whataburger? Are we to surmise that he is in Austin, TX??? Well, I have to say that my metro area of Kansas City is now home to....Whataburgers!!! Yes, they are opening up several locations here and one of them has been open awhile. Perhaps Austin is here in my midst? And again with the head covering, this time via a Jared Padalecki-like beanie. I think Jared must have provided Austin some insight as to the cover-up advantages of the beanie, particularly in a state as hot as Texas. 😉🔥
