Greetings!
Well, Narnia Dispatches certainly didn't think we'd be writing about yet ANOTHER convention cancellation by Mr. Ill-Fated himself, Jared Padalecki, so soon. 😉
It's interesting that Jared says he scored this third COVID positivity "this morning", yet it was 7 pm CT before word spread about it on Friday, Oct 21, the first day of the Vancouver convention weekend and probably the biggest check-in day for Creation Supernatural conventions, leaving little if no time for actions on guests' behalf.
Perhaps we're all to assume that the delay in announcement was caused because organizers were "frantically" making calls to line up some replacement guests.
My first thought was how convenient this was, that several co-stars were so fortunately available at a moment's notice:
But that part was taken care of. For it just so happened, there was a make-up Supernatural "wrap-up" party scheduled the same weekend since it couldn't be held back when the show ended, due to COVID. It all worked out just right...
If the wrap-up party had been scheduled already, it is kind of interesting that the guests hadn't been announced already for "pop-in" appearances, isn't it? I mean, could just make a surprise "hello! we're in town for the party, just thought we'd pop in and say hello..." kind of thing?
To help inform some of those who are unfamiliar with Supernatural's conventions, a few brief points related to guest cancellations.
The cons have been successful for a long time. The main attraction has always been the two leads - Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki. As we've mentioned before, in January 2015, Methodical Muser and I attended the San Francisco con and there's just no question about this. The ballroom was packed for this pair on Sunday. Saturday was not as busy because at that time, the J's only appeared on Sunday's, which was considered THE highlight of the event. Yes, there were fans of Castiel there (more than we had imagined there would be), but there still is no comparison. None. And it's because of this, that now, Jensen and Jared have some photo ops scheduled on Saturday, to help with attendance on that day.
So keeping this in mind, remember that you cannot purchase an autograph, photo op, or any other event ticket unless you purchase some form of admission, whether it's general admission, copper, silver or gold packages.
If one of the two leads cancels out, you do not get refunded for the admission. And Creation Entertainment offers what? They offer a voucher which is good for something (or rather someone) comparable.
Creation makes sure everyone understands the risks. I think the last sentence should be called the "Jared Clause".
All
guests and scheduling are tentative and subject to change. Creation
Entertainment does not advertise any talent without written permission from the
talent or their representation.

In other words, it's like that sign on the back of gravel trucks, "Please Stay Back Three Car Lengths". You can stay back six car lengths and you still run the risk of a rock hitting your windshield. smh.
There is no chance of refund of your admission costs:
Our events will take place whether a specific guest cancels or not and
therefore we cannot issue admission pass refunds if a particular guest is not
able to attend. If a guest must cancel their appearance at the convention,
Creation Entertainment is not responsible for any refunds other than
the a la carte specific-to-the-guest autograph or photo op tickets as another
guest will be booked as a replacement in signing for Gold/Silver or a
pre-signed photo will be provided if a replacement signer is not possible. - Creation Ent.
You can get a credit voucher for your autograph, photo op or other event for the duration of the convention:
These credit vouchers can be used as value towards any remaining photo
op, autograph tickets and/or special events, as well as for Creation
merchandise and/or photos on sale at Creation’s photo table at the convention.
The credit vouchers are ONLY valid during the convention and are NOT
TRANSFERRABLE to other conventions. - Creation Ent.
But if you don't use the credit voucher, at least you can get a refund on it, but you have to be sure to submit the request "WITHIN ONE MONTH". smh.
This isn't like buying a Kitchen Aid Mixer. If the mixer doesn't work, you can exchange the product for a new one. If either Jared or Jensen cancels, this affects your entire convention experience, which means you're out the admission cost, hotel, transportation, meals, etc.

Multiple bouts with or positive tests for COVID-19 absolutely can happen to folks and there's no limit to how many times we can contract the virus.
What is interesting with this group, however, is when Walker
began filming in the fall of 2020, back when vaccines were not widely available yet (healthcare workers and older adults living in long-term care facilities only began to be vaccinated in mid-December), the production, including Jared, managed somehow to get the first season filmed for
airing in January 2021 without Covid-19 cancellations. Yet, as American society has gradually opened back up and fewer people are contacting Covid-19, it's been a
struggle for Jared to remain free of the virus. Curious.
What can be done if someone comes down ill, right? All Narnia can say is, at this point, with Jared saying he has now had COVID three (3) times, one would anticipate going forward, he might want to mask up in most public places he goes because his immune system would seem to be quite susceptible. Anyone who has contracted COVID this many times should be concerned with long lasting effects.
Let's look back at August/September 2021, when we are likely to surmise Jared caught COVID from his beard, I mean "wife" Genevieve. Because they're supposed to share a home, right? 😉
Somewhere in the midst of all this, Jared attended a Creation Entertainment Supernatural convention in Washington DC. In fact, the DC Con 2022 was held August 12-14. Sure is fortunate Jensen was not infected when looking at the close proximity of some of the duo photo ops which took place that weekend.
One month later in September, here was Jared on Justin Wren's podcast, talking about his bout with the virus.

Seems like he had a pretty severe bout of the virus, huh? Here he was on Sept 4, in the pool, camera ready.
Days before that, on August 29, he was joking about having the virus. I don't know about you, but people I know or have read about having COVID, didn't find it funny. Remember, last spring and early summer of '21, the vaccine was new and numbers were still high. It's easier to forget now.

This year, Jared's ran a half marathon in February, attended the CW Upfronts in May, attended Zachary Levi's book signing in June, made it to several conventions including the Denver and Kansas City conventions in September, and attended Harry Styles' concert in Austin, TX.
In 2022, there was also the cancellation at the New Jersey convention in late April due to the alleged car accident that we posted about in "Monday Musings Pt. 1: Let's Hear It For the Boys - Misha Collins, Jensen Ackles, and Jared Padalecki (by Default)". According to this tweet, we're told he lost 15 lbs. after the alleged accident, which is supposed to have taken place on April 17 .
This was Jared at the ATX TV Festival in June for Walker: Independence (the prequel) below.
Jared has been undeniably too thin for several years now, so to claim COVID or a car accident recovery has caused him to lose even more weight is risky. That kind of additional weight loss would really be distinctly noticeable. Of course, the stress from living in the closet (I mean, who wouldn't be at this point?) or trying to keep up with work and raising six kiddos might explain a change in his appearance. Look at Jake and Austin, who are likely raising even more kids together and a bit on the too-lean side. They're just not working near as much as the J's, however. LOL! (sorry, Jaustin! #lowhangingfruit 🍇😉 )
The bottom line is I think teams have gotten much better at blurring lines, covering their slips and mistakes, and using compromised media to help enable and spread their lies. There are still questions that arise.
• After Jared's "car accident", why didn't TMZ break the story when it happened? Why was the news broken by Jensen during a Sunday convention panel? Why is he the one to relay the medical information ('he's going to be okay, a little sore, lucky to be alive, I saw the car', etc.)
• On Sunday, Oct 23, Jensen said at Van Con, that Jared couldn't even take out the trash. Yet two days later, Jared was tweeting about seeing "y'all" at RICC. How did he know this? Feeling better does not automatically translate into a negative test. In fact, testing positive for several weeks is not uncommon.
• The flippancy. Here's Jensen saying "I got ya. So yeah, send him some love, he'll be fine." He'll be fine. I thought he couldn't even take out the trash? How do you know this? Like it's the common cold. This is allegedly Jared's third bout?

All in all, it is risky to try and call this one out, right? What if Jared really was sick? That would make Narnia look callous and deluded. On the other hand, there are just too many questions about this incident which seems to strongly suggest that using COVID as a garlic necklace, dares fans to even question the diagnosis. An off limits excuse for his cancellation.
The problem is it's just one more in a long line of patterned behavior - Jared Padalecki with his convention/event cancellations and problematic incidents.

Speaking of trolling, here is Blake Shelton, 46, and his beard, 53 year-old Gwennie Stefani gaslighting everyone with this photo where she looks to be modeling the latest in moon bumps:
lol. Come on, have some dignity, you two. I think Blake is allergic to kids, isn't he? 😁 Well anyway, will be interesting to see what happens with these two after his last season on The Voice. Gwennie will not be a judge in 2023, so will be interesting if that helps to lead to the end of their contract, I mean! the demise of their marriage.
• And speaking of The Voice, I think everyone in 1D fandom knows now that Mr. Niall Horan is going to be a judge in 2023. Let's hear it for Nialler. 📣📣📣
He's already been filming for the 2023 season and fans were elated to see him. No doubt at all that Niall will bring in a lot of viewers and fans thrilled to see him sitting in one of the red chairs. Narnia joins everyone else in this exciting news and we can't wait to see him participate!
Niall will be joining in on Blake Shelton's last season and one which thankfully will not subject him to Shelton and Gwennie's "het" show. Niall also says new music is coming and he will be joining in some festivals in 2023. There are two music festivals announced already:
The Isle of Wright festival will take place at Seaclose Park, Newport in England and the TRNSMT festival will be in Glasgow, Scotland at Glasgow Green park. In fact, tickets go on sale for TRNSMT today, Nov 4!
It's great to see Niall, albeit rather briefly, but nonetheless, one must take advantage of the pop-up's these days.

Another pop-up came from Liam Payne, but as has been a pattern far too often, the appearance was obviously set up (and that's a big if the outing was even real). Liam was portrayed to be out at Halloween for a party in the company of another beard-for-hire by the name of "Kate Cassidy".
You are not alone, sir!
But Sony was going to make sure the fandom saw and they purposely chose to try and distract everyone on Halloween day with the "outing". In the rag, the Sun, their 300-word write-up, there were three (3) other beards who received a mention, in addition to the stunt tot, "Bear": Mayo (Maya Henry), Danielle Peazer, and Cheryl Cole. It was a This Is Your Life. In addition to the beard and stunt laundry list, fans can look at the use of Backgrid as another big clue that this was just another phony pap walk.
Again though, the photos were hinky as hell.

In addition to several of the photos showing Liam or Cassidy practically wallpapered to the wall they're supposed to be strolling in front of, this particular photo,
bore an uncanny resemblance to this scene from an old but classic Seinfeld episode,
LOL!!! Am I right or am I right?
Bottom line - don't fall for this kind of garish nonsense. It's meant to get you riled up. Sony wants you to think Liam has fallen down some black hole of "lost-ness".

We know better than this! That would not be Liam. (For one thing, I think Mr. Zayn would like to have a word, lol!) The photos are shady as all get out. There are numerous articles on how to manipulate subjects in Photoshop, who can be made to look noticeably thinner.
Narnia's going to just keep observing; there's something odd with these alleged weight fluctuations with Liam. In the meantime, we hope the day draws nearer when he and the rest of the members of 1D are free of this abuse and we see this kind of laugh and smile from Mr. Payne soon. It will be coming, just don't know for sure when. 😊 If he is waiting it out, we are, too. 👊

In movie news, Zayn Malik has been announced to be the voice of two characters in the animated film, 10 Lives. Zayn will handle the voices of two twin brothers named Kirk and Cameron.
What a great opportunity for Zayn, who is also reported to be releasing a soundtrack number from the movie entitled, "What Da Cat Say", according to Pop Crave. There are a couple of tweets providing drawings of the characters Kirk and Cameron, but I've been unable to locate the original source for the information, so will hold off posting just yet.
Nonetheless, exciting news also on the Zayn front!

• Another pap walk with a hidden tot, another Michelle Williams "baby mystery". Allegedly taken Saturday, Oct 29, the photos were of yet another "hidden" baby with no known name promo pap walk. These are the kind of "details" that are supposed to sell us on the legitimacy of these life changing events for Williams:

From the photos in the Daily Fail article, the toddler looks to be Thomas Kail's and along with the new baby, they help to provide cover for Michelle. In any case, it looks like Kail's close friend and colleague Lin-Manuel Miranda may have been in NYC around this time,
and Michelle's bff Busy Phillips was in NYC on November 2, so possibly she was there a couple of days earlier than that? Maybe the whole gang was there, wouldn't that just be something and all four could celebrate the new addition...

And just where is Jake? Well, we should be seeing him soon as his new Disney film, Strange World, which is going to be released in theaters the day before Thanksgiving in America, November 23. It looks like Jake had a lot of fun providing the voice for the movie and it will be interesting when interview and press junket time arrives. It's great to see him having fun and not vein-popping yelling, breaking mirrors, and clearing desks. Seriously, we love it.

Since the influx of social media activity during the week his directed episode of Walker aired, Austin disappeared again, only to pop back up on Halloween night! Good to see he still enjoys the cos-play aspect,
That was a pretty creepy looking clown mask, I have to say! Now Jake requested, I mean a fan requested a cameo from Austin and so we have a new video from him that you can see right here . What Narnia wanted to share was a glimpse of what is supposed to be the Gyllynichols kitchen! Now, does this look like the kitchen of a family with 7-8 kiddos?
I've been in plenty of homes with just two kids or teens and the kitchens aren't immaculate like that. lol. Who is this guy trying to kid? 😉
We're also wondering where are photos of Austin at the San Diego International Film Festival where his film Match was supposed to be showing on October 19, as mentioned in this article, 'One Tree Hill Star Austin Nichols Talks About his New Movie Match and Why He Won't Do Dating Apps'. It's supposed to be a two-person cast, so did Austin not attend? That would've left just one star left to red carpet???

One last thing regarding this interview and a parallel with his hubbers, Jake. In this interview with KTLA, Austin mentions that he is an old school romantic and that he still likes the idea of meeting a date prospect "by chance" at a coffee shop or..."across a crowded room".
Well, notice Jake used this same scenario in this nonsense with Holland. You know that saying about there sometimes being a little bit of truth in a joke. Well, as we've seen with Jensen and Jared, (who have told stories on Creation Theater panel stages which involve the beards, but fans later detected that the stories really involved the two of them, not the beards), perhaps both Jake and Austin are really recalling how they first met at the auditions for The Day After Tomorrow. The word always was that this is how they met and both were instantly smitten! Well, Narnia is thinking that the setting at the auditions was "across a crowded room". Indeed. Here's Jake.

What a note to end this gargantuan post on. Alas, but wait! Let's have an update on Mr. Jared Padalecki and see how he's doing. Amazingly, he has passed the trash-taking-out test and should be appearing at the Rhode Island Comic Con this weekend.
Yes, he began first by being seen convalescing in the home on October 30, with the indoor beanie. Maybe Jensen, I mean Genevieve should turn up the thermostat?
The next day, on Halloween, October 31, he was out and about, seen here with a fan.
And live tweeting last night's episode of Walker. So yes, I would say, he and beard Genevieve should be out in full force this weekend. That all came together just right, I'd say. 👀😉
