It's Thanksgiving here in the wild a** United States, which is where we at Narnia Dispatches are located, so we say it's BREAK TIME! As we break for the holiday of giving thanks for all we've been blessed with over the years and the present time, it would be easy to say, "Yeah, but..." considering all that's been going on in this country.
Then, throw on top of that, watching some of the continued nonsense of celebrity/athlete publicist teams, sports leagues and record companies, well, it would be understandable to be a bit frustrated.
That's why we say it's time for our break. You just throw the palm up and say "Oops, sorry! I'm off the clock. It's time for break; it's in my contract and I've gotta go." 😚
Let's head to the break room where no one can bother us and give thanks for all these guys who give us so many headaches, I mean, give us or have given us so much enjoyment over the years! (Could be a couple of new/old ones as well!) 😄
We are thankful for ...
Adam Lambert.
Did you see any of the video from his August performance as Judas in Godspell? They blew the doors off at the Hollywood Bowl.

Austin Nichols has been all over the place, only God knows the true time stamps on the videos and photos he posts. 😉 It's anyone's else's guess, but here he was for a Gio photo shoot that published this past June '25. We're always happy to see Austy tho.
And here's his hubs, Jake Gyllenhaal, from last month, for Ginori1735. We just don't see this guy much anymore, but still a joy when we surmise it's actually him.
An oldie but a goodie,
And we've seen a very fair amount of Zayn Malik thus far this year, when he was in Mexico in March. He has looked/looks really good, doesn't he? That should tell observant ones something. Think about it. Really hard.
And then think about it some more.
Thus, we are not excluding Ziam, either:
 |
| oh yes, alive and well 😉 |
And then we have some of my fave Royals' baseball players because they are so fun:
This guy Michael Wacha? What a quiet, exemplary leader, although he can get a little rowdy, I think. 😄 I think he must be a great listener.

| Michael Wacha |
Vinnie is a leader. He'll step up unasked and he's a considerate, thoughtful person. And needless to say, his sense of humor is top notch.
 |
| Vinnie Pasquantino in the specs! |
Seth Lugo is a serious student of pitching. He's a teacher and seems no-nonsense. He is upstanding.

Cole Ragans is a fierce competitor. He seemed a little quiet when he first came to the team, but has gradually shared more of himself and he's a participater. If you haven't heard him speak, check out an interview because he has a gorgeous baritone.

And let's go to pre-beanie-in-90° heat era Jared Padalecki, how about it? Congratulations to him on his new series that will be on CBS, by the way.
Alas, my files are full of so many great Jared and Jensen photos.
and a favorite, early family photo with half of the Padackles kids:

| I know it's kind of a poor edit here, but that's the way it goes |
And we can't end part 1 without Jensen following Jared. It just isn't right. This was from an article this year in Entertainment Weekly - great smile on this guy.
Let's go back a few; this is a really good one of Jensen:
and with half of the Padackles kids (JJ, Arrow and Zeppelin in 2020)
Okay, one more before we move on to Part II (because we just have too many fave guys at this point and we don't need to exhaust the clock waiting for a post to load), how about Nialler? Niall Horan, everyone - and he's speaking frankly and simply about men and moisturizer from several years ago!
And we cannot leave out Shiall. From August 2025, we are thankful for these two sharing their joint talents with fans. Niall and Shawn Mendes!
