Greetings to our guests! Not sure how, but we're all still hanging in there after a holiday weekend and ready to start a new week, right? Right? 😄
We have flipped the page to a new month; where did the summer go?
Let's just roll up our sleeves and jump right in. Here we go!
• What are the odds that again this year, something appears to be afflicting the Chiefs' left tackle (and Patrick Mahomes' primary defender), Josh Simmons? Allegedly, the injury concerns his back now. Last year it was an alleged personal issue which remained one of the best kept secrets in all time Chiefs history and still remains in the organization's vault.
The left tackle is a very important position in football for a right-handed quarterback, which is what Patrick is. A quick look-up online of that position shows how crucial it is. Left tackles protect the QB, often without assistance from other teammates. So they are basically the primary position that handles the opposing team's efforts to neutralize the quarterback's efforts to gain yardage.
And so now for the second season in a row, the Chiefs player at that position has become a week-to-week concern with regard to practice availability (let alone being able to play). Thus mystifying and irritating both the fans and the media. In addition to just being an overall daily, repetitive big story as the NFL enters into the first week of the season. And it's Andy Reid, the head coach, who week-to-week is the one who stands at the podium and answers on the organization's behalf.
Directly below is Coach Andy Reid's quote from one of his post-practice pressers. "See if it's right or what's wrong with it" - See if it's 'right'? Well, if it's keeping him out of practice, then it couldn't be "right", could it? Very strange wording by Andy, who has developed a habit of using vague or odd phrases just like that one.
So we have "Josh Simmons Watch" going on with an example directly below of a previous update. And looks like the twitter account this author refers to as "Tone Deaf" is all about replying to multiple Chiefs-topic'd tweets with the repeated mantra of the Chiefs' locker room being "DOA" or broken. I was already familiar with the "Tone Deaf" account because he had been noticed in Royals' twitter activity earlier in the baseball season, constantly replying to any tweet about rookie catcher, Carter Jensen, with his opinion on Carter's "inferiority". So his account had already brought red flags. 🚩🚨🚩
This was his reply to Farzin Vousoughian's update on Simmons:
Now, it should be noted that ultimately Andy Reid does not make the personnel moves. At least in that department, he will defer to Chiefs General Manager, Brett Veach, the man behind all the decisions and transactions. It just seems that whenever there is a player controversy going on, it's always Andy at the podium addressing the questions. 🎤
And now, in a new development, it sounds like it is very possible that a rookie may be playing in Josh Simmons' place instead of proven veteran Jaylon Moore, in next Monday night's season opener against divisional opponent, the Denver Broncos.
Will we have another Harry Styles Trap Door situation taking place if indeed that is the plan? To start a rookie in place of Simmons?
Another critical player position to the entire Chiefs offense this season is running back and their newest player, Kenneth Walker, who was the 2025 Super Bowl MVP. Now, he has had an ankle injury before, so swelling could be something he deals with the rest of his career/life, right? It's possible. But Narnia is still watching. So far, it is looking like he will be ready to go.
Hopefully, there will not be as much melodrama this season, but ... that would be like expecting a snow-free winter in Jackson Hole, WY. Why? Because as long as:
* 15 (Patrick) and 87 (Travis) are on the same team,
* as long as 15 is trying to chase Tom Brady's records,
* as long as Andy is trying to move up the ladder of coaches' wins, and
* as long as Shifty, aka Taylor Swift, is associated with the Chiefs via Travis Kelce,
* as long as we see the planted accounts every single day running Travis down and peddling a lot of the same old fake narratives
then it seems there is bound to be manufactured melodrama.
• In Oct 2017, Narnia wrote a post "Behold the Emasculation Proclamation! Part 4 - Revelations", which was part of a series on various ways that TPTB utilized to control half of a closeted couple. With Jared, it was (and still is) a beanie which oftentimes makes him look like a Q-Tip. Don't ever doubt TPTB underlying intentions when it comes to "working uniforms". Here he is during an outing at Top Golf,

| do you see anyone else wearing a beanie outdoors? |
When asked by Jensen about the beanie earlier this year (via zoom) at the Norfolk Con (one that Jared just happened to have missed due to an alleged broken leg), Jared said:
Ohhhhhh, Jared wears it indoors as well as outdoors because it's his (security) "blankie". I think the 2026 term would be more like "emotional support beanie", wouldn't it?
So, one could say it's also become like a signature trademark, which is why it is puzzling why the "emotional support accessory" wasn't used in this recent promotional photo for an upcoming Netflix movie that Jared will be starring in with Leighton Meester and Andie MacDowell?

| Huh, well, look at that! |
No beanie or Albert Einstein stylin' for Netflix? 😉
Seeing "Heated Rivalry's Connor Storrie buzz cutting his hair recently also brought to mind the old 2017 Emasculation Proclamation post and Jared's "emotional support" beanie.
Who's buying this explanation from Connor?
TPTB sure had this explanation ready to go, didn't they?
While promoting Heated Rivalry season one in December 2025, Connor said he was ready to cut all of his hair off.
“I’m ready to cut this stuff off, if y’all want me to be completely honest,” he replied to a fan tweet about his curly hair routine in a Teen Vogue video. “I’m ready to shave my head. I don’t know who’s out there, but someone hire me and give me a crazy haircut.”
In a “Get Ready with Me” video for Vogue in January, Connor also teased cutting his hair.
“Just wait until we do something, and until we cut it all off,” he says in the clip while his groomer, Kerrie Urban, tousles his hair. “I want to.”
The last time Connor had shorter hair was while filming his upcoming movie, April X, back in 2024. If you missed it, a new trailer was recently unveiled after the movie received a September release date. - Just Jared, August 23, 2026
"The last time Connor had shorter hair" was while filming April X? You mean this short?
Riiiight. After all, what fashion conscious, out-and-about guy doesn't want to have everything accented with nearly coconut-shell length hair?
Look at this lone comment on that Just Jared post from a fan familiar with the Heated Rivalry book series:
Hmmmm. Not keeping the characters true to form? Interesting.
Here was Connor last night at the Creative Arts Emmys.
Maybe Connor could give Jared a ring and they can compare notes on their imposed hair restrictions. 😉

And, beards? I mean, "wives", we know you're supposed to be "with child". There is no need to keep putting the cradling hand under the "bump" like a laser pointer. We know what that is and what it is announcing. 😉

Why is the official ABC News twitter account posting a remembrance for Liam Payne's "heavenly" birthday this past August 29, 2026?
That's not Just Jared. Not Page Six. Not US Weekly. Not Pop Base. Not the Daily Fail, I mean Mail.
But ABC News.
As M&M told this author when this was seen on Twitter.
ABC is owned by Disney.
Disney and Sony/Simon Cowell have long had a special relationship and continue to partner on several business projects. Also, One Direction took a number of stunt photos in Disney parks with their beards back in the day.

And not to leave out Mr. Louis Tomlinson, who appeared at Disneyland Paris in August 2013. LOLLLL! The winter wear seems a bit out of place, don't you think?:

Zayn and Edwards were at Disneyland Paris in 2014. So as one can see, M&M recalled quite correctly. Not only that, but Harry Styles' Pleasing brand collaborated with Disney for a 30-item line of skincare products, apparel, etc. in 2024.
One more Disney and Sony association:
In May 23, 2012, the members of One Direction attended actor Will Smith's premiere for "Men in Black III" in New York City.
"Men in Black III" was distributed by Sony Pictures.
It would be ten (10) years later when Liam Payne was set up in that disastrous "accent" interview post-Oscars. Oscar watchers also remember that awards show as the one where Will Smith allegedly was so upset at Chris Rock that he went up on stage and slapped him. And then Liam was interviewed and ... well, Narnia talked about all of this in our post "December Drifts: Signals From All Directions" in December '22 as well as "Liam Payne's Own 'Beautiful War' Against the Music Industry" in April '22.
Do you the reader, feel like this dog yet?
There are other business partnerships between Sony and Disney, including Sony Pictures acquiring "control over Disney Home Entertainment" in 2024.
The daily number of stories that still continue about Liam's alleged fatality in Argentina continue to involve too many moving parts, too many rabbit holes. In an admirable fashion, fans are militant about getting to the truth, now more than ever.
Next month will be the "anniversary" of the incident.
Fans should notice though, who isn't as militant about finding out the truth. And they should wonder why.
The family. The band members. His close friends.
Of all people, they should be more up in arms than anyone if they're seeing all of the same missing puzzle pieces that the fans are. Instead, all we're seeing are interviews of band mates reminiscing and family members posting lengthy missing-you messages. Two years later.
Please pause and contemplate before sending money to fund investigations unless you know for sure where, and for what purpose, that money is being used for.
As we continue to watch any further possible proceedings as far as Liam's incident is concerned, a wise saying from Oh My Godot's Grand Poobah, "Special K" comes to mind:
"Sometimes you gotta go big, to hide big."
