Afternoon Randoms....Bits and Morsels

 via GIPHY

Doing a little digging around and found a few random, unrelated oldies but goodies from PG's ol' file of Sent emails....

LOL!  That one will never NOT be funny.  Were they arguing over java itself?  Or over something else while drinking their coffee???

And since we're on the subject of Jake and the matriarch, here's a real gold nugget; be sure and read the caption. This one comes from Katherine Tulich, a member of the Hollywood Foreign Press, and took place in 2002.  Just going to drop this one right here....

I don't knowwww, I bet that habit hasn't stopped even with the passage of time, lol.  *wink*

This Facebook post is not available anymore, but I believe the poster is still valid.  Amazing, isn't it?  I'm not sure what is so "secretive" about this one; it's simply very cute!  I write June 2013? because that's when my email was dated.

Always fun to see Jake Gyllenhaal (Tony Awards last night). We did a great production of "West Side Story" at HW - Jake played Riff. Best memory - Jake was the youngest of the King's children in "King & I" and sometimes during rehearsals members of the company would pick up "litle Jake" and walk around with him under their arm which he also seemed to think was funny. Just a few years later he was ...Nathan Detroit in "Guys & Dolls" and a great source of comedy in the AP Music class). Shortly thereafter Jake was "Donny Darko" and then great success followed in "Jarhead," "Zodiac," "Brokeback Mountain" etc. Great talent, 'smarts,' and versatility.

Aw, now isn't that a good one?  So hard to find this kind of stuff anymore.

I saw this on Just Jared this morning and had to share it.  Mr. Bomer sharing some personal preferences...I LIKED it!!

I don't know, but I enjoyed this kind of one-word sharing. And Matt is super, super sexy in this vid of the game.  He's frank but doesn't embellish or get detailed. Of course, the questions are a little rapid fire, but Matt prompts intrigue with some of his short answers:

Great stuff, Mr. Bomer.

Just thought I would rummage around in the ol' Sent File and throw in some Matt Bomer.  Lots of memories in the email archive and need to do this more often.   Hope everyone's been having a good Saturday!
