Musing #1:
For anyone closely following both Jake Gyllenhaal and Austin Nichols, it would be hard to miss what happened this past weekend. Jake was at the Toronto Film Festival 2017, first appearing to the public on Thursday, Sept 7 in New York City at the Calvin Klein Fashion Show and 29 something or other, which hilariously and interestingly enough was also attended by his man's ex-beard, Chloe Bennet.

Do you reckon along with the purse clutch, there was a renewal contract on a clipboard along with a fine point Sharpie carried on Bennet's person, just in case? Did she perhaps seek out Jake, desperately desiring a contract renewal with his hubs? A haunting spin of Aretha Franklin's "Rescue Me" in its own solo playlist seems to come immediately to my mind. ;-)
Musing #2: Meanwhile, back at the ranch, Austin was allegedly filming a new shorty flick entitled "Isabel". Does any other fandom oldster see the irony in this title, for one? Let's reminisce back to 2010 for a moment because this is too funny.

Jake Gyllenhaal went to WonderCon in San Francisco to promote this summer's video game movie, Prince of Persia. When a journalist in a press conference asked him how things were going with Isabel, Gyllenhaal didn't know what he was talking about.
“Who?”
Gyllenhaal asked the journalist who’d asked him about Lucas.
The reporter then asked if he was in fact dating Isabel. The actors had been spotted together and rumored to be dating. Either those reports are false, or Gyllenhaal is taking the fifth. “It’s news to me, my friend,” Gyllenhaal said. “I don’t know what you’re talking about.”

That Austin would write a shorty film entitled "Isabel" is indeed worthy of a second glance. The two men's time periods of activity look like a matching pair of socks to me, not sure about anyone else. That's a closet analogy for: perfect counter coverage performed to prove Austin was thousands of miles away from Jake, who was clearly in Canada.

When I realized that this new shorty flick of Austin and his new BFF Paul Wesley, was entitled "Isabel", it made me recall the whole infamous "Isabel Who?" PR debacle from 2010.

Jake is currently shooting a movie in Montreal called Source Code. Last night he was spotted at Garde Manger and I’m told exclusively that he was “all cuddled up” with Isabel Lucas. She’s the actress from Transformers 2. The one who was with Shia LaBeouf on the night he f-cked up his hand in that accident even though she was supposedly dating Adrian Grenier at the time. She is gorgeous.
Jakey was wearing a white shirt over jeans, apparently even hotter in real life. When he wasn’t wrapped around her, he was trying to get Isabel to dance with him. She seemed shy. And he didn’t seem to be missing Reese at all. Or, for that matter, Rachel.

Last week Jake Gyllenhaal and Isabel Lucas were spotted getting cozy in Montreal. Jake is in town shooting a movie and the gorgeous pair have been seen together yet again. Yay! Jake’s mum flew in over the weekend to keep her son company and things must be getting serious because Isabel joined the family for lunch. A source says that Jake and Isabel kissed when she arrived at Byblos Le Petit Cafe and that the two are spending lots of quality time together. Awww. What do you think? Do you like them as a couple?

So the whole thing is really too funny. Love that Austin picked "Isabel" as the title. Because Austin is supposed to be the writer of this short, six-day flick.
Can't get thoughts and worries over our Caribbean islands and Florida out of my mind. To see the calm and the deserted streets knowing that the storm was coming was one thing. Today, to see video of Irma actually hitting Miami is just devastating. I do believe in climate change, but I also believe these are Biblical signs as well. Not like something is going to happen right away, because "the beginning" can encompass who knows how many years or even decades.
I did go to school for two years in Miami, Florida, got my Bachelors there. They were 2 of the best years of my life. Also spent a spring break in the Florida Keys; will never forget as we drove on that long, long highway surrounded by ocean water!! Creeped me out.
Cracks me up that one of the top US twitter trends is "hurrcaneirma". Someone left out the "i"!! LOL. Good grief
My oral surgeon had said that 72 hrs after the teeth pulling would be the most painful. Well, add 24 hrs to that, what is that, 96? More like 96 hrs later. LOL! My left jaw feels like it was in a fight. Just like he said. Boy, that young man was good.
Hope everyone is having a safe and fun Sunday. I'm still chilling inside, not doing a whole lot so that I can get over this dental incident.
Goodness, what a week. Things at my work have picked up - that combined with the dog watching here in K.C. since last Tues, I think it was. Yep, it was Tuesday. And the mama's are getting home tomorrow, so my time here is winding down. I'll have to collect all my stuff, spread out everywhere all over the house. These two Shih Tzu's are kind of needy - well, the little female is. The boy is not, although they both follow me everywhere. And here I am in my old 'hood and I can't even enjoy some of the different eating places around here. Chips or anything crunchy just isn't too fun and you get tired of chewing on the same side of the mouth all the time. So a lot of soup and smoothies and like 1/4 cup of cereal is all I can handle right now. LOL!
The idea of crunching just isn't too appealing still. But off the pain meds, so that's good. If I have to go through this all over again with the cracked molar, I'll not be happy. ;-)
Sorry for the quiet and lack of different music this week. Since Jake & Austin are carrying on with their gaslighting, I've been trying to work on my fanfic. Really would like to post my chapter and I'm just about there, so sometimes, choices have to be made.
I really aim to do at least one post on J2 because we're long overdue. So the next one is either going to be on them or we've got a good one on the two Jaustin boys planned, but either post will be a little lengthy, so will take time.

it's so obvious those two were under some kind of contract. I think they both may be in the closet. I've been watching them (only online, lol) for the last several years and I could just tell. They were rarely, rarely ever seen together. And when you did see one of them, it was Josh who always had the little boy Axel. They did a terrible job of being convincing.
