As Easy as 1-2-3, That's How Elementary It Can Be - Jake Gyllenhaal at TIFF 2017

Stronger was the film; its Canadian festival without bridal train carrying and fussing, Thinker poses, ghost boat rides, and TMI provocative quotes from directors.

Stronger at the Toronto Film Festival 2017 will be a festival which behavioral-wise was at the head of the class.  Tip of the cap to Jake. Perhaps it was the subject matter, the cast?  Whichever it was, Narnia salutes Jake and wishes him much luck with the upcoming release of Stronger

A few pictures of Jake, Jeff Bauman, Ta tiana Maslany, and others from their big Saturday.

Looking snappy in the layered sweater.

Hmm, trying to recreate that unforgettable Bangers shot?  Well, not quite, but a reasonable facsimile thereof.  :-)

"No no no no no no!"  *wink*

LOL!  Sorry - couldn't resist that one.  Okay, I'll shut up now.

Because I always admire anyone who can step up to a podium and speak to a crowd...

Maslany from the film...She reminds me a lot of Sandra Bullock, does she anyone else?

From the after-party:

And the best for last. You can see the bottles in the cast after-party pic, but in this one, they're almost front and center. Probably a sponsor of the party, but who cares.  The Grey Goose shoutout!  And a classic, very nice shot on top of it.

And there you have it.  A few favorite snapshots from yesterday, Jake and a film festival.  Devoid of fuschia or sandy grit filters and "artistic" black and white.  We CAN have nice things sometimes!!

Well done!  Next on the schedule today will be the interviews....and THAT will be a different story, no doubt.

Just a post-script teaser to end this post on.  I found this short interview snippet interesting because Jake never did really answer the simple question. [But many thanks to @jbbgyllenhaal for posting the clip and always keeping on top of things.  A wonderful source when she's able to provide to fans.]

Late addition:  another interview where Jake seems incapable of answering a personal question.  Jeff Bauman is here playing along with the whole "workaholic" narrative.

Perhaps an example of hiding truly personal thoughts, hmm?   Let the press junket and talk show circuit begin, HUZZAH!!

Surprise!!! See? We can be nice. ;D

Love the emerald green tie, btw. Classy all the way around.

Proud of Jake.

So Jeff is being used to spread the narrative that Jake just works all the time? I love how Jake's people use whoever is associating with him at the time to support their revisionist history of Jake. PR never disappoints in that regard.

"No no no no no no!" *wink* That is probably my favorite quote assigned to Jake these days. All because a "fan" allegedly from Turkey stalked him at his well publicized apartment in NY, and Jake just blew up once he saw him. A six word repetitive phrase that doesn't exactly slip off someone's tongue. That's how you know the whole story was made up by some intern who was a bit too melodramatic and obviously bored. Try being a little more subtle. I mean two "No's" would have sufficed. Maybe ask Austin, The Writer, to script the next "fans are mean to me" article about Jake. I'm sure he will be done with that seven day film shoot in Austin by then. *rolls eyes*
