Good morning!
Narnia hopes that this Saturday greeting finds our readers in a safe place and in a kind of pattern where you feel as safe as one can in this turbulent world of ours. We want to extend our most conscious thoughts to American East Coasters, who are dealing with the repercussions from Storm Ida. The videos were insane and remind us of the power of Mother Nature and moving water itself. Please don't ever try to move your car through water that goes up on your tires. Water is so powerful and it's just not worth it.
We're having heavy rains in the Kansas City area and this resident has certainly had enough! 😂 Enough's enough.
But we have not had enough of Shevine!! Not by far. There are still several more videos we need to share, more favorites, along with some videos of outtakes, highlights and some good for chuckles. What a unique and fun dynamic Adam and Blake were on The Voice and while Shevine may have started out as purposely-pandered by the network, the evolution of Shevine over the course of time looked to veer off what may have been a scripted path to something more organic.
Today's featured video is called "Adam Levine & Blake Shelton: Love Song" by Michele. It was uploaded on May 17, 2013, so I'm surprised there aren't more views on it because it's a really nice one. Views are at 69,238.
The video is actually a double bonus because Michele uses the video of Team Adam performing the song, Love Song, so we get to hear/see a slightly reggae-ish cover of the song. It's a great cover. The creator uses many familiar moments, but there are a few new ones. It's also enjoyable to watch Adam play the electric guitar and whoever knew his eyelashes were that long?
The full length video of the performance is here and something interesting about the song choice and another video where another fan noticed Adam was kind of solemn around this time on the show and his Voice team was singing some solemn music selections. It is interesting to note the time period of this season, which was just months before Adam's engagement to Behati Prinsloo was going to be announced, so he knew that his life was soon going to change forever.
It's noted that this next video has a wistful (and beautiful!) song assigned to it - the video is called (Adam and Blake)Already Home)Shevine) by BF4F. Posted in July 2015, which again, was a time when things were changing, this time due to the introduction of Gwen Stefani and even though TPTB/showrunners actively promoted Shevine themselves, as happens with closeted celebrities in relationships, when too much gets to be too visible to the public eye, they play battleship and sink the ship.

All hail Shevine! It's terrible homework to need to watch Shevine videos to make my selections. What's fun is I keep finding a few I haven't seen yet. 😉
