The Latest Rising of the Comeback Kid, Liam Payne

Liam Payne is the Energizer Bunny in human form; he has had challenges thrown at him repeatedly by ill-intending management and recording companies:

• Zayn Malik's forced separation from One Direction,

• Twitter sabotage on the day of a single or LP1's release,

• the presence of a babysitter during his social media videos like he's a child in need of monitoring,

• photo shoots hyper-focused on nudity or near nudity,

• phony narrative of drunken states while on-the-clock,

• forced narrative of being both the "boyfriend" of Cheryl Cole and "father" of "Bear Payne",

• forced narrative of being the father of, I mean "boyfriend" of Mayo "Maya" Henry,

• forced narrative of being homophobic,

• and the withheld opportunity of touring (particularly for LP1)

And those are just naming a few. Just a few of the pains, abuses and mistreatments imposed on Liam.  Just. A. Few.

But hear this wonderful news that Narnia is grateful and happy to repeat.

Liam Payne keeps bouncing back.

Liam Payne keeps fighting.

Liam Payne keeps winning.

Liam Payne keeps rising above

Liam has been promoting his latest single, a song from the soundtrack of Disney's upcoming film Ron Gone Wrong, which will release October 22.  And he is flashing that million-watt smile and talking up what he's been up to.   Liam was on BBC's The One Show and he was especially glowing during the guest stint.  In the video clip below, his appearance really comes on at 02:17 and we issue many thanks to the individual for sharing this appearance of Liam's.

Isn't it wonderful to see Liam's sunny smile again and we'll just ignore how Sony had to have a mention of "the son" shoehorned into his interview, but Liam quickly moved past that after the interviewer finished carrying out the assignment and stopped the force-feeding.  [No one else finds it suspicious that every interview, every Daily Fail article, has to ask or repeat the "tiny tot timeline" of the "mini-me" who is never seen?  Of course, the tot is going to have a "private screening" of Ron Gone Wrong.  😂]

Not surprisingly, Liam carried forth a splendid, professional interview. He brought up Sweden again and this time stated that he had visited there to meet up with the songwriters of "What Makes You Beautiful".  So, it sounds like meeting with those songwriters may have a connection with him producing some new music.  Wouldn't that be exciting? 👌👌 The BBC's The One Show visit was also crowned with a performance of Sunshine, a song that he is one of the composers of.

It's fun to see how pleased and honored Liam was to be able to have a soundtrack title for a Disney film.  Huge claps for this and we hope for much success of the film's release.

Liam also made an update to his social media avatar.  This guy has been busy!

Yes, he is proudly showcasing the colors of the bisexual flag for Bisexual Week, which runs from September 16-23 this year.

Quite a week for Mr. Liam Payne and Narnia couldn't be prouder.   And he was shining all the way through, like he's done time after time again.  We love to see it. 💪💪🌞🔥

I mean, JUST LOOK AT HIM!!!!  He's lighting everything up.

And now we must leave the sun beams and move on to a couple of other quick topics.  😁

•  Travis Kelce - Leave this man alone.  Facial beard or no facial beard is not a story.  Catches and touchdowns for an NFL tight end are stories, not whether or not he's rocking a beard.

His twitter mentions are filled with demands and whines to grow back the facial hair.  You would think his NFL season's success depended on it.   Someone either can't think of something else to distract the public with, or there's some kind of agenda based on beard growth. Usually when you see this kind of widespread social media activity and narrative push, a publicist is behind it.  And well, you know how Narnia feels about publicists.

😁  Between the follicle nonsense and interviewers pointing out how Travis wasn't sure who the Chiefs were playing on Sunday (he was asked back on Monday by Peyton and Eli Manning during Monday Night Football) and blowing that one way out of proportion, Narnia is rooting for #87 to add to his statistics against the Ravens so that questions can be returned to football.  Travis did score two touchdowns this past Sunday against the Cleveland Browns and so he is off to a great start and one skill he does have, is he knows how to handle all kinds of questions.

Here was one of his sensible answers:  "I tell you what, I'll never go through training camp with a full beard again.  It's tough going through 90 degree heat with a full heat index and having that extra pound of fur on your face.  It can get pretty draining!" - CBS Sports

As evident above, Travis can handle nosy questions adeptly with good ol' common sense.

In the words of the Wise One, Methodical Muser is always telling me,  "I think Travis can take care of himself".     😎

Whadya say, Trav?!

• Here's the question of the week:

Is anyone else scratching their heads over Jake's team knocking themselves out to make it appear that he was at the Venice Film Festival in full support of Big Sis's movie, "The Lost Daughter" (even walking the red carpet despite the fact he isn't in the movie), and yet - and yet, he doesn't go to the Toronto Film Festival to promote his own film, "The Guilty", which showed last Saturday, Sept 11?  Instead he literally phones it in with a couple of Zoom interviews?

I mean... ❓❓❓

Forgive me if Shevine Saturday runs into later tomorrow evening as I've been watching a friend's two wiener dogs all week and just got home tonight. It's been a heckuva month, but never fear!!

Shevine Saturday is happening. ;D

I was so impressed with the way Liam carried himself on BBC The One Show and didn't over-elaborate. It's so obvious that Sony keeps using his interviews to have "Bear" shoehorned in. Ridiculous.

But as stated in the post, he keeps rising. He's amaaaaaazing!

I also loved that Liam was excited about receiving a wok for his birthday.
