Last and final memory of this year is going up and accepting the Brit award on behalf of my band knowing we‘ve still got it! 🙌🏼 Happy new year everybody!

With one Instagram post, solo singing artist as well as One Direction band member Liam Payne injected a strong dose of hope and delight into the arms of many, many fans who have been struggling as they've watched the lingering stronghold maneuvers of Sony/Syco.  Certainly, Louis Tomlinson has endured the worst of the career sabotage.  The other men have had more liberties, but all of them have been through an incredibly tough time.  They've shared it all and Liam reflected this when he tagged all 4 band members:

Thank you, Liam.  Thank you for stepping up in this moment - just like that night at the Brit Awards in February, the reverberations from that thrown gavel are felt throughout the entire fandom.

Let's wind it back around to Liam Payne once more for his take-charge appearance on behalf of One Direction in accepting the British Artist Video of the Year award at the 2017 Brit Awards.  Truly a gracious and humble acceptance speech,  but also triumphant as he stood next to the one who has tried to break their spirit.

What a moment to end on; they were all outstanding memories of 2017.  I know this didn't cover everyone; just a few positive highlights.

Pomp and Parade, Shews and Games...our OTPs' "Salute" to John Adams

Well, kind of a salute.  This 4th of July, as folks partake in the All-American hot dog or hamburger, maybe some BBQ, or tacos? Subs? Deviled eggs?  Whatever the fare may be, here's a look back at how our boys have enjoyed the art of partaking.  Dining.  Devouring.  Chowing down.  Strapping on the ol' feed bag.  Enjoy!
