A Valentine Hello and a Wave from Narnia Dispatches

 

Despite oncoming meteors that aim to stop us from gazing at these matched stars we have been drawn to, we at Narnia Dispatches have no doubt that we are joined by many, who still see no other couples who match the magnetism of our OTP's and honoraries.

Boom! Pop! KaPow! - Lightin' Things Up With Narnia's Faves

Happy 4th of July to all you Americans out there.  While there is much to be dissatisfied and irritated with, it IS the American way to make the best of it and still find a way to have a laugh, still enjoy, and still straighten the backbone.  So today, we at Narnia are going to focus on our fave men and well, they're all fireworks and sparklers in our eyes, right?  And fireworks and sparklers not only include life-filled eyes and bright smiles, but literally...

Sparks and pows and booms.  So let's enjoy the fireworks, courtesy of our men, shall we?

Let's start things off with the bulldog Mike Moustakas, who can boom and bellow with the best of them, lol.

Not quite sure what that was about, but Moose doesn't look too happy.  And if Moose ain't happy, no one else is going to be too happy.  

Then, we found this moment when Liam Payne wasn't too pleased with someone.

hmmmmmm.... *wink*

Now, not only is Liam not looking too happy there, but he has in fact been a perturb-er.

As Harry Styles will attest to, lol.

A fan iconic moment to be sure when Liam told Harry his hair always looked the same.  ;-)

And who can forget that time at SXSW2016 when Austin Don Nichols left his smile at home on the red carpet for his RL husband Jakers' film premiere.  However, if we look closely, notice the shoutout to Jake (particularly for that time period) with his "New York City" T shirt.

Now, we'll come back to his hubs' contribution to the fireworks because heaven knows, with the exception of Jensen Ackles, Jakers' swatch selection of cub snarls and pouts is the stuff of legend.  And speaking of Mr. Ackles, he has given Jake a run for his money at times.  This one was not "real", but it is a fond memory of old "public" J2 and Jensen at some of his faux "crabbiest" best:

And what about one of our honorary favorites, the MVP #15 Patrick Mahomes?  Does he have some fireworks for us today?  I daresay he does.

Only for the 4th, only for the 4th.  Patrick is a pretty happy guy, as are the rest of our fellas here.  Now, what about Louis?

Uh oh!  Something must have happened, didn't it?  

We best not pursue that one.  I wouldn't want to cross Mr. Louis, would you?  But he sure brought an armful contribution to our "lit up" presentation.

And when doesn't Adam Lambert look fierce?  Without even being in the midst of a blow-up, Adam's stage presence can shoot rockets.  I think his missiles are out of Homer Hickam's range of prowess though, don't you?  ;-)

Oh yeahhhhhh....and here's another of our faves, Mr. Eric Hosmer, former first baseman for the Royals.  Let's not rile up Hos.

And for our present first baseman, another favorite of 1/2 of Narnia, we have another dark haired beauty in Mr. Whit Merrifield.  But this is as close as he gets to cherry bombing.  He's like a brilliant sparkler, though.

For those far reaching fountains of sparkle, there's Mr. Jared Padalecki.  Jared's classic moment of fire came back in 2014 at a little event called JibCon.  Who can ever forget the fire coming from his eyes during this swipe at meard Misha Collins, hmmmmm?

We may need a fire brigade at this point!

Another firecracker moment comes from Mr. Zayn Malik.  Here he is telling Harry a thing or two while keeping his guy, Liam, in a headlock.  LOL.  Poor Liam, I wonder if he had table burn after this!

And Nialler is not without his sparks as well.  Mr. Niall Horan, ladies and gents.

Now, no one can get as explosive like #87, KC Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.  Although he seems to be mellowing a bit, back in the day.....

Whew!  Travis...come on now.  Let Jake Gyllenhaal show you how it's done.

And there we have it.  Narnia's Boom! Pow! Bang! for your 2019 4th of July.  Hope it's a fun one, a safe one and even if you don't observe the American Independence Day, well, who wouldn't get a kick out of some of these fireworks from our guys?  ;-)

Booty Casting Call: Heavenly Bodies in Alignment

In honor of the Solar Eclipse taking place on Monday, August 21, 2017, Narnia thought we would hold auditions for Mr. Moon's role in the event.  As much as we would like, there will be no full moon here, but sometimes what is left to the imagination is part of the whole appreciation process, no?
