Hello and welcome to another edition of Shevine Saturday! Because we can't get enough of Blake Shelton and Adam Levine, two men who formed such an integral part of NBC's The Voice. Their on-screen relationship is fun to watch and so Narnia's Saturdays have been devoted to enjoying the snapping, the hugging, the heart-eyes and the verbal sparring.
Today's video is one I can't believe I hadn't posted yet. It's "Fallin' For You" by nothinglastsforever222 and features the song by the same title, singer - Colbie Caillat. "Fallin' For You" was uploaded on March 19, 2015 and has 207,636 views.
"I have a man crush on Adam and it blows me away that people can pick up on that." - Blake Shelton 😂😂 Blake and his dry sense of humor. nothinglastsforever222 starts off her video with a sampling of Blake's low-key humor and a denial of Adam's "No mance, just bro". Riiiiight. But then Adam gives in. "Okay, bromance!" He always ends up being a good sport.
A few other favorite moments in this one:
• At 01:19, does anyone else think Blake almost starts to lean over into Adam at first and then stops? Just kind of wondering what was going on there...😉
• At 01:30, love the promo. Who wouldn't want to use these two for show promo?
• At 01:50 Boy, you have to love the slide-up move that Adam made in this interview. It's quick, but it's slithering and indicates that Adam loved how tall Blake was. Ol' Blake just stands there all chill, absorbing the worship. 😎 Jake had his tall glass of water and so did Adam.
• At 01:57 - gotta love those notebook tosses that Adam would do
• At 01:59 - awww, the nudge during a laugh
• At 02:01 - sometimes Blake looked kind of entranced, didn't he?
Haha, she ends the video with Adam talking about Blake during one of his concerts and how he loves all 6' 5" of him. Oh yeah, he loved how tall he was. 😍🔥
Here they were, sparring in this show clip at the start of this vid:
The quality of the picture is rather fuzzy, but the clip is funny, especially when Adam mutters about Blake being "so strong". LOL!!!
Here are the guys.

Aaaaah, we could just go on forever and forever with these two. But alas, the clock is nearing that next-day hour and I've dinked around long enough. Ha ha ha, I just noticed that Adam's feet aren't touching the floor in that last gif. LOL!!
Enjoy your Sunday and long live Shevine Saturday!

Liam Payne is the Energizer Bunny in human form; he has had challenges thrown at him repeatedly by ill-intending management and recording companies:
• Zayn Malik's forced separation from One Direction,
• Twitter sabotage on the day of a single or LP1's release,
• the presence of a babysitter during his social media videos like he's a child in need of monitoring,
• photo shoots hyper-focused on nudity or near nudity,
• phony narrative of drunken states while on-the-clock,
• forced narrative of being both the "boyfriend" of Cheryl Cole and "father" of "Bear Payne",
• forced narrative of being the father of, I mean "boyfriend" of Mayo "Maya" Henry,
• forced narrative of being homophobic,
• and the withheld opportunity of touring (particularly for LP1)
And those are just naming a few. Just a few of the pains, abuses and mistreatments imposed on Liam. Just. A. Few.
But hear this wonderful news that Narnia is grateful and happy to repeat.
Liam Payne keeps bouncing back.
Liam Payne keeps fighting.
Liam Payne keeps winning.
Liam Payne keeps rising above.
Liam has been promoting his latest single, a song from the soundtrack of Disney's upcoming film Ron GoneWrong, which will release October 22. And he is flashing that million-watt smile and talking up what he's been up to. Liam was on BBC's The One Show and he was especially glowing during the guest stint. In the video clip below, his appearance really comes on at 02:17 and we issue many thanks to the individual for sharing this appearance of Liam's.
Isn't it wonderful to see Liam's sunny smile again and we'll just ignore how Sony had to have a mention of "the son" shoehorned into his interview, but Liam quickly moved past that after the interviewer finished carrying out the assignment and stopped the force-feeding. [No one else finds it suspicious that every interview, every Daily Fail article, has to ask or repeat the "tiny tot timeline" of the "mini-me" who is never seen? Of course, the tot is going to have a "private screening" of Ron Gone Wrong. 😂]
Not surprisingly, Liam carried forth a splendid, professional interview. He brought up Sweden again and this time stated that he had visited there to meet up with the songwriters of "What Makes You Beautiful". So, it sounds like meeting with those songwriters may have a connection with him producing some new music. Wouldn't that be exciting? 👌👌 The BBC's The One Show visit was also crowned with a performance of Sunshine, a song that he is one of the composers of.
It's fun to see how pleased and honored Liam was to be able to have a soundtrack title for a Disney film. Huge claps for this and we hope for much success of the film's release.
Liam also made an update to his social media avatar. This guy has been busy!
Yes, he is proudly showcasing the colors of the bisexual flag for Bisexual Week, which runs from September 16-23 this year.
Quite a week for Mr. Liam Payne and Narnia couldn't be prouder. And he was shining all the way through, like he's done time after time again. We love to see it. 💪💪🌞🔥
I mean, JUST LOOK AT HIM!!!! He's lighting everything up.
And now we must leave the sun beams and move on to a couple of other quick topics. 😁
• Travis Kelce - Leave this man alone. Facial beard or no facial beard is not a story. Catches and touchdowns for an NFL tight end are stories, not whether or not he's rocking a beard.
His twitter mentions are filled with demands and whines to grow back the facial hair. You would think his NFL season's success depended on it. Someone either can't think of something else to distract the public with, or there's some kind of agenda based on beard growth. Usually when you see this kind of widespread social media activity and narrative push, a publicist is behind it. And well, you know how Narnia feels about publicists.
😁 Between the follicle nonsense and interviewers pointing out how Travis wasn't sure who the Chiefs were playing on Sunday (he was asked back on Monday by Peyton and Eli Manning during Monday Night Football) and blowing that one way out of proportion, Narnia is rooting for #87 to add to his statistics against the Ravens so that questions can be returned to football. Travis did score two touchdowns this past Sunday against the Cleveland Browns and so he is off to a great start and one skill he does have, is he knows how to handle all kinds of questions.
Here was one of his sensible answers: "I tell you what, I'll never go through training camp with a full beard again. It's tough going through 90 degree heat with a full heat index and having that extra pound of fur on your face. It can get pretty draining!" - CBS Sports
As evident above, Travis can handle nosy questions adeptly with good ol' common sense.
In the words of the Wise One, Methodical Muser is always telling me, "I thinkTravis can take care of himself". 😎
Whadya say, Trav?!
• Here's the question of the week:
Is anyone else scratching their heads over Jake's team knocking themselves out to make it appear that he was at the Venice Film Festival in full support of Big Sis's movie, "The Lost Daughter" (even walking the red carpet despite the fact he isn't in the movie), and yet - andyet, he doesn't go to the Toronto Film Festival to promote his own film, "The Guilty", which showed last Saturday, Sept 11? Instead he literally phones it in with a couple of Zoom interviews?
I mean... ❓❓❓
********************
It was of utter importance today to salute Liam Payne with yet another triumphant emergence.
And for the weekend? Shevine Saturday is coming up!!
Happy Friday, TGIF and all that goes along with it!
One of the fun aspects of fandom on mediums such as Tumblr and You Tube is the creativity and talents of the fans. There are some very talented folks out there and for someone like myself who is a bit more challenged, we can only greatly appreciate and enjoy their visions.
Today's first video is by duchesscloverly, entitled "Wicked Game - Adam and Blake AU", and she splendidly pieced together various video clips to create a fictional AU story. She did a fantastic job and I think the black and white adds even more to the attractiveness of the video, one which has 21,457 views. Duchesscloverly is a very talented gif-maker and video creator - let's have a look at "Wicked Game", which she describes the AU storyline as "Adam has been away on tour for awhile and they are finding the distance to be too much".
This cracked me up, the framed photo of Shevine in "the home":
She did good, didn't she? She blended clips from some Voice videos, but I think she must also have pulled some from Blake and Adam's music vids, as well as from Adam's movie "Begin Again" with Kierra Knightley ". By the opening tone, it would seem that both men's relationship is strained by separation. Interesting enough, the video was uploaded in September 2015, a time when many tumblers began to go inactive. Adam had already gotten "married" to Prinsloo and ol' Gwennie had made her debut on the show and fans could see the handwriting on the wall.
Just looking at several tumblr and You Tube comments (You Tube ones that don't look planted, anyway. 😉), many fans seemed torn between being suspicious of the whole glitzy Shefani show and the palpable chemistry they knew they had seen between Blake and Adam on the television screen. Because so many accounts are inactive now, it's hard to say if there were any who believed they were being lied to with many of the scripted orchestrations on the show, a show that was and still is being used by TPTB to peddle narratives and one which ended up betraying and pushing Adam out to pasture.
Pushed out to pasture? Another case of calculated exile? Say it ain't so! Oh, yeah, it's looking so - a stage that was used to push Adam out to pasture just like Zayn was pushed out of One Direction. Just like Jared Padalecki was and has been pushed out into exclusion since at least 2013. Just like Austin Nichols was slapped with undesirable labels and eventually kept out of public company with real-life husband Jake Gyllenhaal (although theirs and Jared/Jensen's cases are more complicated).
Oh! But not to get off track, a bad habit of mine!
Because Shevine Saturday (so far!) is trying to stay Snuggle Fluffy as much as possible, for the time being. 😉
This following video is an ad for Nissan that Adam and Blake did. Blake drove as well in another ad with Adam, but that one doesn't seem to be available anywhere, not sure why that is. Love the red plaid thermos (with soup!) that Blake clutches throughout.
Blooper time! But they forgot here to include the thermos, lol. It's there, it's gone, it's there again. LOL!
And the Nissan ad gave us another Adam to Blake, "You are. An idiot." moment.
"You are an idiot," - Adam to Blake
Imagine looking so winsome when someone tells you that you're an idiot. That snapshot immediately followed Adam telling him that! 😍 You know who they remind me of?
Tom Holland and his bf Harrison Osterfield
😂 😍 😍 😂
Is that not what we love about our OTP's?
Louis and Harry
Austin and Jake
They light up our screens,
Liam and Zayn
And of course, our subject today - Blake and Adam (I have to say, someone else in this shot thought she was photo-bombing and creating a splash, but Blake didn't seem to have paid any attention, did he? 😍 ):
Here they are:
Blake just being frank! 😊
Pretty hard to top this one
I love how the interviewer says she would watch Blake and Adam making out. LOL! Blake looks like he just pulled an all-nighter, doesn't he? If that was the case, I don't know though, that I've seen anyone look any better after doing so.
This was Adam after Blake called him "Miley" 😍
huge thanks to the creator of this edit - so awesome
I love this screen cap - from The Voice Season 1, Ep. 1
*sigh* If you came here for a heart-eyes 😍 intravenous booster drip, hopefully this will provide just what you needed. It's a real trial to have to edit and review the post, time and time again during the process, let me tell you. I'm glad to take one for the team. 😁
(Sign reads) Thank you For Making so [sic] good music, Louis
But those shows [pre-Covid] were
even better than I could’ve imagined. You know, the
atmosphere, and the love, and that feeling in the room was like, amazing. Those are the kind of
things I’ve had to digest because I feel the importance of those shows to some
people. All these people are here to see me ~ Louis Tomlinson
Love that GREEN Sports Jersey, Louis
Opening shot of Documentary - "Hey Louis, could that 28 get any larger?"
And despite the still existing obstacles.....
[Because, in what reasonable world, does an artist of Louis' social media reach and global success have to 'Follow' his own Festival's account to draw fans to his self-funded event?) *sigh* By the way, there is no need to respond to that question. Simply think of a music company that rhymes with 'phony' and you will have the answer.]
...Louis forged ahead victoriously, just as he has done for so many years, with grace, hard work, and an abiding love for his fans.
That's right. Regardless, of the contractual sabotage limitations still going on behind the scenes, Louis once again emerged as the King that he is and dazzled the crowd of 10,000+ that gathered at the Crystal Palace Bowl, an outdoor performance venue in South London on Monday, August 30th for a Live Music Festival, curated and funded by Mr. Tomlinson himself.
Louis' Manager, Matt Vines (Btw, love the bluegreening, Matt)
Darn, who kept those pesky blue and green lights going!
This fan must have slipped up too.
Shhh. Rumor has it that she meant to wear yellow and purple bracelets instead. Right Harry? *Cough* Color inversion of blue and green. You've got to love these guys.
Harry at the GRAMMYs, March 15, 2021
But, we digress. Besides the very successful August 30th Away From Home concert directed by Charlie Lightening, some post-show backstage footage, along with a 30-minute mini documentary, were all livestreamed this past Saturday on VEEPS. That's right. Louis is truly too good to us. And, Narnia can personally attest that the production was incredible. Emotional, entertaining, and most of all exhilarating. Most definitely a work of distinction that provided a fascinating glimpse into the creative process of a visionary artist at the top of his game.
Moreover, having control of the entire process allowed a very important truth to emerge throughout the documentary - a for-the-record film production by his director friend, Charlie Lightening, that loudly captured the heart of the true Louis Tomlinson. Not the homophobic, undeserving persona, Syco/Sony created to not only separate Louis from the LGBTQ+ community as far back as 2012, but to undermine his future career ambitions. With this project, we clearly see through the focused camera lens, the passionate, inclusive and authentic man who embraces love and acceptance, despite adversity, and the fans who return the sentiment hundredfold. On a personal level, we also get to see Louis' forthright interactions with his family and friends, bandmates, and girlfriend, or as Louis refers to her at the very end of the film, because she is conspicuously missing throughout: Megirlfriendorwhateveritis. LOL! Way to make a point, Louis.

And Louis responds in kind. Grateful for all he's been given.
Feelproud.
And with that, let's give a huge shout out to another young man who may even have been the inspiration for those poignant lyrics from "A Copy of a Copy of a Copy", a song written by Louis in 2020, coincidentally during the same year Sony and Jeff Azoff aggressively resurrected the contrived hetero image Harry Styles has been fighting against since he was 16. The man who truly only gets to be himself when the spotlight is on,
Ladies and gentleman, this is a "young man" who knows who he is.

If we didn't know better at Narnia, we would almost think that these two men might know one another.

Oh, and you who will remain nameless due to your antics this past weekend, Narnia has one message for you.
