For once, you had a "healthy" Jared Padalecki along with real life partner Jensen Ackles. Jensen's meard Misha Collins was there. And this year, one of the beards, I mean wives also joined in the mix.
Talk about stormy, unpredictable waters.
At :50 you've got Jensen jostling up against Jared's (wife)beard, Genevieve Padalecki. What, lol...what in the heck is that one all about? But the best part starts around 2:20 following a hug between Jensen and Jared. Watch the interaction between Jared and Genevieve, followed by Jensen's reaction.
This YouTube video, all 4+ minutes of it which is just of the entertainers saying goodbye, has over 8,000 hits. LOL! It's now been giffed to death and spread like wildfire because everyone is going back and analyzing this small moment in time.
Way to go, boys. ;-)

Well, I'll not forget when I watched that video snippet for the first time because it was the first time I watched it that I was kind of blown away by Jensen's reaction. Not a good idea to have the beard on stage at the same time, let alone for her to be treating Jared like her scratching post with his RL partner right there.
The expressions crossing over folks' faces was entertaining to say the least. The thing is, Genevieve Padalecki was brought to this con where she spent time on stage and back stage with her husband. Have you ever seen a star's wife or husband so visible at a con while they were working? Or girlfriend/boyfriend?
Yeah, I know now of one other faux couple where this has occurred and guess who that is? Austin and his beard. lol. Kind of tells a lot right there, doesn't it?
I think Mgmnt needed to have Jared occupied and paired up so that it cleared the stage for Jensen to be chummed up with Misha Collins, his meard. JibCon has a strong reputation for being a convention which is highly Collins focused and a Cockles/Destiel fest. But when Mgmnt brought Genevieve on board, they got more than they had bargained for. I think she brought some acting out on the part of Jared/Jensen, that's what ended up happening. Jared was caught between his wife and his RL guy, Jensen. lol. Tough place to be.
And what ended up also backfiring on Mgmnt was that Jensen seemed to end up being preoccupied with establishing his territory (Jared) and because Jared was so present (at the Sat night dinner and at panels, Jensen seemed toned down on the Cockles/Destiel Milkbones. So Collins was a third wheel sometimes and playing second fiddle. NOT what Collins is accustomed to at JibCon. JibCon is a whole different kind of convention from the others. I just did not see much evidence of "Destiel/Cockles goodies" for that segment of the fandom.
This is just my take on it? My thoughts.
I'm going to change the closet picture on the heading routinely so don't be surprised when you see a different picture sometimes. You're in the right spot, lol. Plus, the comment section on the previous post is still open and I'll close them soon, just not yet.

Looks like two jealous boyfriends trying to one up each other with the beard. Almost like they were in competition over how absurd they could be. My favorite part was the "air quote" gesture Jensen made with his hands when he says the word "married." Okay Ackles. Control yourself. I get it. The whole thing is a charade.
Really this kind of nonsense is on repeat in the closeted playbook. Whenever a "girlfriend" or "wife" oddly shows up at work-related activities like this Supernatural Convention, it's pretty obvious what Management is trying to hide. It's like Louis' Soccer Aid 2016 event for Unicef which is taking place right now in Manchester.
The actual charity soccer match will be tomorrow at the venerated Old Trafford Stadium, but there are many festivities and promo interviews taking place this week. With that as background, guess who's there? That's right. Louis' beard. She even cancelled her appearance at her TV show's Convention in Italy this weekend to be papped everywhere as Louis' "girlfriend." What a complete joke. No one else has their wives or girlfriends present. If they are there, no one cares to take their picture. Yet, somehow, only Louis "not gay" Tomlinson is coupled up and photographed everywhere he goes. No doubt, she'll show up tomorrow for the game wearing his jersey with his name prominently displayed on the back, cheering her cheeky "boyfriend" on, like the smitten, loved up fool that she is. *dripping with sarcasm*
The only unknown left is whether there will be under 30 or over 30 pap photos published in the Daily Mail and The Sun tomorrow.
Still, despite all the stunts. Despite the undetermined length of the carefully crafted and manipulated hiatus. Despite the third wheeling, whirling dervishing of the soon to be forgotten beard. This latest tweet from the British Phonographic Industry illustrates what is most important. Another song from One Direction’s last album, Made in the A.M. has hit Platinum status. In other words, the fans are still there, loving their boys. Appreciating their music. No matter how hard Simon Cowell tries to destroy the fandom before they move on to a new team. And, freedom. Stuff it, Simon!

A couple of things on the weird behaviors. JibCon is known for providing more tasteful liquid refreshments than bottled water. Jensen refers to it as "apple juice", but that is not apple juice. I find that kind of interesting as to why it is needed/provided for this particular con.
Also, some folks feel like the hug between he and Jared was scripted and supposed to happen. I wouldn't be surprised and for the reason that Jensen wore the Always Keep Fighting T shirt. I don't know how many times that weekend it was mentioned how Jared had missed the previous two JibCons. But after the hug, Jared went straight over to Genevieve and had to kiss on her head and then she had to, what in the heck was she doing there rubbing up against his legs? What kind of move was that? It was a facepalm move, that's for sure. And the crowd reacted and Jensen looked over to see what folks were tittering about.
And he wasn't happy with what he saw, I don't think. Jensen has a real jealous & possessive streak in him, and that is so surprising to me.

That wouldn’t surprise me at all. PR knew what the chatter was last year about how this particular convention is used to ship Misha and Jensen. Three years in a row, Jared had to be conveniently sidelined. The best way to bury the rumor was to openly acknowledge how Jared wasn’t there last year. As usual, PR practices overkill, which inevitably exposes their intention. Jensen cooperating with the T-shirt to Jared’s charity was part of the “story”. This isn’t their first rodeo.

It was nice seeing Louis genuinely smile with Niall at the charity soccer match- though, with Danielle being there, it would be nice if he was allowed to do things without there being an ulterior bearding motive behind it. Ugh. That picture of her is too funny and I can imagine it being true- Harry was SUCH a proud boyfriend years ago when he was able to watch Louis playing soccer on the sidelines. True. Harry is Louis' biggest cheerleader. Always will be. Once Simon Cowell, et al. are gone for good, the boys finally will be able to be free in the way they have wanted since the X-Factor days. On the bright side, at least, Niall is there to help ease the annoyance of the obvious stunting. Alas, OT2 will have to do for now.

I love that song as Frank Sinatra has sung it. I have a Pandora station that I've dubbed after the Chairman, and it will play that one quite often.
I do have to share a bit of a funny, or at least it turned out to be funny, thank goodness. I was ushering at my old church in KC this morning and one of the members came up the stairs to enter and I handed him a program. As he continued to walk on by, I noticed the back of his very nice lavender shirt was really quite damp.
Well, as the service started, he was sitting several rows in front of me and his shirt was even more wet. I mean it was spreading to his upper back and the back of his hair was wet and the sweat was beading down his temples. He kept wiping it. I was like holy moly, that's not right. But he's a longtime surgeon and so I thought surely he would know if he were in trouble, right?
But a couple other ladies in front of me were also alarmed and so I stepped out and went to go get a cup of ice water for him. I asked him if he was okay? and handed him the water. He said yeah but thanks for the water. I thought I might have to call 911. But the good thing I thought as I sat there, was that sitting right next to him was a married couple and they are both gyno/obstetricians. Funny all the thought processes that go through your head.
Well, he eventually stopped profusely sweating and after service was over, he thanked me and said he had just gotten out of the hot tub and so his body just had not finished cooling down yet. LOL! Actually I asked if he had just been on a jog, because you know how it is when it's really warm out and you're exercising, this is how your body cools itself down is by sweating.
Whew! That was scary to see. But it all turned out okay.
Thank you for the warm welcome! That does sound like a scary incident in church, I would have been worried myself but good to know that it had a funny/good ending. I just finished watching The Maze Runner, I love Dylan O'Brien but it was actually my first time watching it and I really enjoyed it. Clearly need to see the second as soon as possible. I'm so sad to hear about his accident on set, not sure if we have had an update on it in a while.
I think my heart grew three sizes today after watching Louis so happy.. did you see the comment from his mother on his instagram post? Interesting comment from someone with a girlfriend and new baby, heh. She knows what (and whom!) makes her son happy.

I would have been worried myself
I kept constant watch on him, dreading if he was going to all of a sudden pass out or something! But it's a very small chapel and there were 4 women in front of me who were all keeping an eye as well. And slowly his shirt was drying out. Never saw someone sweat like that. It's amazing to me how the body does that to cool off.
The pictures from the soccer match were really uplifting and fun to see. Both him and Niall were smiling to beat the band. It was just very wonderful to see Louis especially so happy. And yeah, that is an interesting comment to see from his mom, thank you for bringing it over. Happy for her as well; surely she has been worrying about her son for how long now with all the shenanigans of Modest and Simon C.
And lol, this kind of kills me. That guy has over 15,000 comments on his Instagram and the Larrie fans find his mom's comment. They can find anything. Maybe it works faster if you follow his mom and so therefore you see her comments or something?

Moreover, those were not just a mother’s generic encouraging words about her son having a good time. Those were the emphatic words from someone who personally knows that Louis has been going through a hard time and is finally catching a break.
As you state, not the sentiment you would expect a proud grandmother to express about her buzzin’ son who has just become a father this year, has a loved up/devoted girlfriend, and is supposedly enjoying a relaxing hiatus.
Johannah is a sharp one. She is letting everyone know that what you have been seeing in the media is not real because this day was the first time in a long time that Louis has been able to catch a break and be happy.
I also noticed all the Nouis love coming from Louis, Niall and Louis’ mom over the past several days. Each one explicitly and forcefully contradicting Dan “Wattpad’s” fictional trash about the boys not getting along and therefore breaking up. Everytime Niall and Louis were together, it was obvious how much they care for each other. How well they get along. And, how much they enjoy each others company. Another Simon Cowell myth debunked.
