The Mysteries of Insta Taking

When a birthday-with-friends photo can turn out so well...

But a wedding-meal-with-friends photo not...

We at Narnia seem to be the only ones questioning the wedding meal photo, and that's okay.  At first glance, there doesn't seem to be anything to question, albeit the "sepia" filter which we assume is to add an artsy effect.

But it really shouldn't take long to realize that Jared's face and hair are extremely blurred and layered.  And the waiter staff person (we assume) in the far background is blurred as well, but is that because he's moving? Or because he's a bearded civilian and therefore won't be able to be positively identified?

And if he's blurred because he's moving, that at least would make sense, wouldn't it?  Should Jared be moving that much as he looks straight ahead, engrossed in conversation?   And if he is indeed talking to the blond woman across from him, why does it appear as though her head is facing the picture taker, yet her hands are gesturing towards Jared?

Of course, there are the whole "where are the children" and the 'groom just supposedly met his bride several months ago' questions.  Could Jared really have been the one holding down the fort with the ark?  That's saying if there really was a wedding at all.

But time is of the essence when it's this late at night and work is to be had tomorrow.  The burning question remains why in this age of cellphones and their top-notch cameras, some of these closeted OTP's continue to be the victims of terrible picture taking at the worst of times? And there seems to be the forgetfulness of previewing, seeing that a photo is inferior and the option of a re-take.

And it appears that the witching hour has now come, time for the patch and repair.   Time for some hocus pocus, eh boys?

Another really big question here is that supposedly these guys lament repeatedly over not being able to see their families during the filming season.

Yet look at what they've been doing. They've been seen now at more events w/o the brood of children than they did when they only had one or two each. Last weekend was supposedly the Austin City Limits which took place during the day and then at night as well. Now this weekend, it's a no-children wedding and today car races? I'm waiting to see if the children are at the races.

And the desperate to see one's family from 2016 is not jiving with this latest trend of "weekends in Austin" children-free.

Don't get me wrong. I don't think these guys are passing off the kids to nannies and babysitters on weekends as frequently as it has been looking on the weekends. That's why these poorly taken photos and constantly being seen at events is all about. The big story and one that no one wants to believe is that these 2 guys are the ones raising the children.

We will continue to watch this developing story with more interest than before. ;-)

And not that I anticipate seeing small toddlers at a car race - that's really not the place for them. I'm going to say what I've said now for Jake and Austin. It's about to the point where courtside seats and scoreboard cam are needed. These Instagram pics and "stories" are really getting out of control with their deception and enablers.

Never mind that pesky thing called perspective. Also over to the left of the second photo, it looks like those folks are squashed against the wall. While in the natural setting of the first pic there is plenty of room for all. There's no doubt that management is desperately trying to place these guys in Austin, TX on the weekends, but each effort seems more and more bizarre. I thought the whole reason for Jared and Jensen to travel 1500 miles for two days was to be with their family, not be out and about, desperately trying to be "seen". Sounds to me like these guys aren't in Austin, TX. And, if they aren't in Austin, TX, they are probably still in Vancouver. Hmmm. Now, why would they want to hide the fact that they aren't spending the weekends in Texas? One guess is all you get because it's pretty darn obvious. Those growing families don't reside in Texas.

Another peculiar pattern shift we are currently seeing is how for years Jared and Jensen's weekend trips to Austin were fairly low key. Often just an airline twitter rant from Jared on Sunday afternoon to "prove" he had been in Texas. Now with three more kids, under one year of age, these guys are being placed at high profile events every weekend, Instagram at the ready to provide the photographic evidence of their attendance. You would think with all those kids, they would be cocooning quietly at home. Sounds like the rumors of those guys raising those kids themselves is causing management to change their tactics almost in a panic. Desperate to prove these guys live in Austin and on so in love with their beards. Before the "wives" would be trotted out periodically, now they seem almost glued to their sides. Highly visible. That is whenever ol' Gen isn't busy posing for another one of those breast feeding "private" moments she's been so intent on sharing with everyone these days. Another behavior she never exhibited before.

It's all just pretty interesting. That so much hinkiness has started since last fall, which would be the prelude to the twins being born, and it hasn't stopped since. The photoshopping and use of friends' Instagrams is greatly resembling Jake and Austin's world.

I think it's great that these guys are raising these beautiful children. My hope is that some of this nonsense will tone down on the weekends when they're not doing cons. It's weird when the con weekends are the more "quiet" ones anymore.

The fact that "the Tankeroo" tags the Ducks, Spn Family and the beards on an Instagram post which is about Jensen kind of says it all to me. Mgmnt knows just how to play the believers and has it down to a concerto.

Sorry, ol' Tankeroo, no Pass Go here.

My other immediate question this morning is why the delay in the "Stevie Wonder" pic? Bit of trouble in the developing room?

Wow, the patch and rework continues. Whatever, boys.
