Who needs the naysayers? The source of this eyebrow raising snippet is surprising. Gossip Cop is one of those sources who at first seems to be one to get to the bottom of Hollywood gossip and quick to throw down the gavel on the false. But it shouldn't take long to realize that their written public denials serve just as strong of a narrative-feeding purpose than the actual debunking itself, especially when it comes to one of our faves, Mr. Jake Gyllenhaal.
But back to the subject at hand, which was a post by GC, published yesterday, December 27, entitled "Taylor Swift Top Rumor of 2017: Dating Jake Gyllenhaal Again". Was that a big rumor this year? Somebody remind me because it must have blown through like a micro burst and was gone. No worries though, because Mr. Gossip Cop was ready and willing to bring forth the details, i.e. a rehash of old fabrications.
And while GC acts like Matlock going in for the kill with his throwing around of dates which appear to "prove" the gossip is false, the story leaves Jake in the dust and ends up morphing into a plug for Tay and her latest, Joe Alwyn. source
Funny though, while the author was busy providing the het credentials, he also slipped in a debunking of sorts.
"while he was living in New York City for a stint on Broadway". As opposed to when he hasn't been performing on Broadway, where has Jake been living? But wait, I thought... the pap-proof, "No no no no no no" condo........the vague Manhattan something or other from 2014...the "three-story, cobble-stoned street" home in Tribeca...the "cast-iron" skillet conversion on "Lispernard Street" in 2015...the 2017 farmstead in upstate ...or was that the "burbs" home in upstate...or wait! what about the 2015 "two-bedroom apartment in New York City" rented by Amy Schumer while partaking of old birthday cake while robbing his fridge ..., but I thought it was the cast iron skillet conversion home in 2015? 2 bedroom apartment or cast iron? I'm so confused!
I don't know about anyone else, but my head is spinning from all that moving around. Two Men and a Truck never had it so good. LOL!

Aw, I love having fun like that. I never realized there were so many places that Jake is supposed to have "looked at" while shopping for a home in NYC. How many places does or has he had over there?
And what is a cast iron conversion? Is that when the furnace pipes are those iron radiator things? That's what it looks like to me. I'm not too up on this kind of thing, but it looks like that's what the term could mean.
While it is a fun post, make no mistake about it, though. That was an interesting sentence by Mr. Gossip Cop.
Whoa, had to change the avatar. Well, we here at Narnia already have a few posts up our sleeves for 2018, Lord willing to let us see the year arrive. :-)
What will 2018 bring? Jake in Los Angeles again perhaps for filming of that Dan Gilroy art collector flick? Jared and Jensen, what on earth will 2018 bring for them? MORE pics of their beards and children, fewer of them together? Fans are talking speculating that perhaps Liam and Zayn could collaborate on a song? Will Kris Allen tour the east and southeast territories again, avoiding the Midwest and West coast? ;-) Will Blake still be stuck with Gwen Stiffani? And what about Austin? What will 2018 hold for him?

How predictable was this one. After a day of total quiet, the evening hrs produce a new photo of Jared “still in Colorado”, suddenly sans children. Why? Because Genevieve posted a photo of her and the boys allegedly taken yesterday and hinted to be in Idaho.
So will Jensen be quiet and presumed to be somewhere with his beard and the children?
OR......will we get a photo of solo Jensen so Mgmnt can throw a Milkbone to the believers but with no signs of any of the children so that the believers will squee that the guys are nowhere near their children for New Year’s and lovenesting together?
This will be interesting. Mgmnt still needs the believers as viewers and con attendees for the duration of the show, so I think there will still be milkbones tossed, maybe just not so blatant.
This does not surprise me at all. How obvious is it that they post a picture to insinuate the Padabeard is somewhere else with the kids but leaves Jared behind so that it will look like he wants nothing to do with his own kids. That he fulfilled his holiday duty.
