Good afternoon! Here we go on another lovely Shevine Saturday! Today's video is by IronicPheasant once more and the accompanying music is a song called "Jealous" by Labrinth.
I'm not quite as crazy about the melody of "Jealous" (but that's just because it's a bit angsty!), however I like that the video captures many of the intense or lingering looks that were shared between Blake and Adam. IronicPheasant selected an array of excellent moments and the flow is smooth. At 03:00, one at first is misdirected by the appearance of Nick Jonas, but if you look in the background, you can see that Blake and Adam were the only coaches in their chairs and Adam goes running over to sit in Blake's lap, something he did quite a bit of with never an argument from Mr. Captain Country himself. 😉
And who doesn't love the part early in the video where Blake tells Adam, "I have a girlfriend, Adam" and Adam tells him "We know. The whole world knows." LOL! 😂 Point to Adam.
Again, because there was a lot that was scripted shtick with Blake and Adam, I think you had to look at the situation and the flow of conversation to see if things seemed to veer off course. You also have to think about what was maybe crossing a personal line or what Management wouldn't really want "out there" for all to see.
Take this video for instance, which would appear to be a moment of off-script because of Blake's reaction to what Adam did. Interestingly enough, this You Tube video is called "Gwen Stefani & Blake Shelton Flirting Interrupted by Adam Levine On 'The Voice' " and is dated November 10, 2015 by Hollywood Life. So this was season 9 of the show and Stefani's second full stint as a coach. It's also the first episode of the show after the "official" announcement that Blake and Stefani were "dating". Starting at 00:22, you can see a reaction from Adam to Stefani's OTT laughter which didn't go over too well with Blake, but these kinds of things are liable to happen when you place a beard in a stage situation with the two involved parties, something we've seen happen with Jared and Jensen.
😬 Awkward, wasn't it? Show runners didn't mind the bromancing between Blake and Adam and even promoted it. But by 2015, with too many fans of Shevine chattering about and capturing moments in Tumblr posts and gifs, in addition to spot-on You Tube observations and comments, TPTB obviously felt it was time to start reining it in and a jealous moment like the one above would likely not be desired.
This was another very interesting moment caught in a You Tube video in 2014, with a question regarding a specific leak of information. Beginning at 01:25, the hostess asks Blake and Adam about a rumor of Gwen Stefani coming to The Voice and Adam rambles on and on about how he can't say anything. Notice his wink, though when he says "contractually".
What was that about 'contractually', Adam?

And what does Blake do as Adam is rambling on about contracts, I mean "contractually"? Looks like Blake is giving some puckering action at 01:39,

You have to love the height difference. Adam is listed at 5'11" and Blake at 6'4". Blake is tall like Austin and Jared, but he has more density. 😊 Plus, Blake is always wearing boots which adds to his tall appearance. And because Adam is so slender, he frequently looks quite small when standing next to Blake.

Can't thank enough the folks who were right there in real time with The Voice and captured so much with gifs and observations.
For myself, for the first time, it's been terrific to be able to go back and see so much content.
There was always a ton of content with Jared and Jensen, Liam and Zayn, and now there is still quite a bit with Blake and Adam.
It's such a stark contrast from Jake and Austin, whose interactions were so abruptly snipped by Jake's people. Jake and Austin must have been just as bad as J2 and Shevine because they weren't even allowed to do any press together or be photo'd together. It is so darn obvious.
There are official photo ops with Jake and Austin and that is it. But our Master Post and so many endless posts that Oh My Godot and Narnia have done, there isn't a soul out there who could deny they were and still are together.
It's amazing that it can be concluded just from accidental tweets and posts like the one we did with last year's Mammoth Springs vacation debacle.
