Shevine Saturday: The Shevine Train Is Still Making All the Stops

Yahoo, here we are on another Shevine Saturday and this train just keeps on chugging - still plenty of track left to run on! 😉  Indeed!

And we have a couple of dandies here, of which our main attraction is one by IronicPheasant, entitled "Adam Levine and Blake Shelton Making Goo Goo Eyes at Each Other for Seven Minutes".  What a great title, isn't it?  And it literally is a lot of interview clips of Adam and Blake classic interviews and eye locking, all meme'd from a Voice show moment when Adam got a deer in the headlight look on his face at 00:31 when he replies to Blake, "I love you, too," which kind of hung in the air a bit like a big meatball.  The video has over 205,000 views and IronicPheasant has a sharp eye, catching some splendid moments to accompany with a repeated sample from "Careless Whisper" by George Michael.

My favorite moments:

• 00:34 - Adam pulls Blake's attention away from someone who had walked up to say something to Blake and Blake's head swivels back and forth before settling on Adam.

• 00:51 - ICONIC.  This classic moment should be written on a scroll and read by a town crier to all the townspeople every day, it is that solid.

Let the town crier proclaim it to be so.

• 1:08-1:09 - I mean, come on!  This was during a coaches performance and Adam had sung Daft Punk feat. Pharrell's hit, "Get Lucky", with the remainder of the foursome joining in.

• 01:20 - I mean...

• 02:03 - after Blake says "I don't wanna be around him off camera", that's when Adam gives him the stare-off.  LOL!

• 02:22 - the lip biting, what was that?  😉

• 02:46 - this wasn't the first time Adam has done the wilted flower gesture, lol.  Maybe he just loves giving Blake a hard time.  #punintended 😉

• 02:58 - Adam could not take Blake's staring!  It's awesome.  Adam just fell apart, didn't he?  😍

• 03:20 - Uhhhhh.... 😍🌋

• 03:39 - Interviewer: "What did you eat for breakfast today?"   Adam, "Blake Shelton."    That's it.  That's enough.  LOL

• 03:50 - Awwww!

• 04:09 - when Blake really gets tickled, he guffaws and this one came after Adam was asked by the interviewer "Do blondes really have more fun?"   Again, times like this it was like the two had their own private ITK *wink winks*.

• 04:37 - Awww!  😍💕  I mean, look at that. And AGAIN at 04:50.  #TotalSap!

• 04:58 - Blake, control yourself!

• 05:42 - "I was at Blake Shelton's house last night" - Adam Levine.    What a drop.

• 05:44 - Damn

• 06:00 - SCROLL MOMENT!!  Put it.  On. A. Scroll.

• 06:14 - Blake wanted a reaction so badly from Adam on the "reach around" comment

Another one of my favorites and was one of the first ones I watched.  And nicely and smoothly edited, job well done!

Here's an interview video that's a combination of funny and lightly awkward a couple of times.  It's got to be challenging to conduct a red carpet interview because they're live and while the interviewers may be given questions to ask (or not to ask), there's no predicting the path that the answers may take.   But here's Blake and Adam during The Voice Season 7 "Concert and Citywalk Lighting Ceremony" in 2014.  There's several tiny moments that I notice during this 02:13 long interview snippet - a couple glimpses that I think can be revealing about a person.  Take a look!

• lol at around 00:42 when Adam zings Blake with "That's a funny joke, has that ever been used by anyone?"  😄

• 00:55 you can see how Blake knew how to push Adam's buttons

• 01:01-01:02 - you can almost see the gears turning in Adam's head as he tried to think of a comeback, but he had nothing on the spot and so he just tells Blake, "You literally are a stupid moron." 😂

• 01:22 - I'm not a big fan of the guy interviewer.  For some stupid reason, he tells Blake to "calm out" just because Blake was laughing and having a good time! Who does that?  He was totally rude at that moment and Blake doesn't look happy.  Who could blame him?  So celebrities and athletes have to put up sometimes with this kind of nonsense.  I feel for them in that regard when that happens.  Shortly thereafter though, it's like it never happened, so that's good.

• 01:41 - Adam accidentally steps on a girl's foot and he apologizes to her.   "Did I just step on your foot?  I'm sorry."  That's a nice person.  It seems like a minor thing perhaps to some people, but to myself, it's insightful.  I've been in numerous places and had people step on my foot or bump into me with a shopping cart or something to that effect, and they never say anything.  It's like, how could you not tell that you stepped on me?  An apology for it is such a small, but kind gesture.  And I just think it says a lot about a person.

 • 01:49 - I think Adam's now getting bored, lol.

• 02:04 - Blake thanks both interviewers, shakes their hand and calls the girl "sweetie".  The way that he says that is kind and again, another very small moment, but I think is actually a big insight into a person's natural upbringing and character.

And a funny!  No laser pointer needed on this one, it's just entertaining and funny.  Blake does crack me up when he tells Adam, "That's going to squash you guys."  LOL!  Blake is so good at these types of skits.   I love this one.

Absolutely love that one - they are so funny together, aren't they?  Let's celebrate these two men:

Blake Shelton

Adam Levine

Pardon me while I take ten to recover for a moment from my Shevine coma.  What a glorious way to go, though!

*sigh*   Inject every gif, every photo directly into my veins.  Thank you for coming to visit and I hope you find yourself a little bit of happy escapism in these throwback Saturdays.
