About three and a half weeks before Sunday in the Park with George opened, Jake began to very publicly be placed in New York City in preparation for Previews, which kicked off on February 11th. [Recap: Jake began 2017 with the highly visible St. Bart's photo essay, which circulated well into the new year. The Caribbean respite then quickly morphed into his appearance at the Golden Globes in Beverly Hills, CA on January 8, peaking with a spotting at the Taco Bell in Southgate MI on January 14th.]
And, not surprisingly, since Jake's return to the Big Apple for the duration of his Broadway show, his daily social media searches have been stretched to Violet Beauregarde levels of hot air inflation. A torrential flood of memes and robot tweets followed one after the other, not only stretching credulity, but making the head spin with the seemingly omnipresent flow of nothing to hide Jakeness.

Right? lol. Social media activity filled with tweets and Tumblrs on being "robbed", being under-respected, not knowing how to hold a dog, not knowing how to physically run with dignity

the way he looks at Heath, Natalie, Anne, and a host of others from his life history (except Austin Nichols), sharing gum with other men at the Tony's, catfishing Amy Schumer, picking up bagels off the subway floor and eating them, just to name a few. Yes, these and more have been robot tweeted with an obviously robust purpose. It's a way to fill up space - this author likes to refer to the phenomenon as "Twitter Botox".
However, while Mgmnt has been busy stuffing Jake's social media activity, what they had forgotten to do was to continue carrying out their client's "living in New York City amongst the people" and waving-from-the-front-porch narrative. From previous time periods in NYC, Jake has been reported to be: sitting against brick walls drinking coffee at La Colombe, grabbing a workout at the gym or Soul Cycle, reading books on the subway, walking down the middle of random streets amidst the taxi cabs with earbuds, standing on subway trains [see December 9 2014 tweet of being a "subway stud"], entering crosswalks with the likes of Marcus Mumford.... No, Jake wasn't seen to be doing any of these previously routine, papped activities and in particular, pictured or tweet sighted on the NYC trains. (Jake and trains being the key rinse and repeat words.)
Then, a few weeks ago (around February 20), this Tumblr post appeared:
Oh wait that was interesting; read that again, what did it say?
"After the show i waited outside to meet Jake! It was terrible cause he was heading to the car and I was farther down on the line so I walked up like everyone else"
Since that time, Mgmnt has tried to gradually up their game a bit.

Real New Yorker™ level unlocked: saw Jake Gyllenhaal on the subway.
On March 8, these two tweets were particularly entertaining:
— Joe Hollywood 🌴 (@JoeHollywood) January 17, 2017
This tweet above was interesting because the picture is an old one. And it appeared in Jake's search timeline on March 8, although the date on the original says January 17.
And it was on March 7, that this particular robot tweet below had a resurgence in life after being in incubation from the first go-around back in October of 2014 (not particularly easy to "dig up" an old tweet like this unless you have a link):
— Kevin Sprotte (@kevin_sprotte) October 1, 2014
See how that would subliminally work? Repeat, repeat, repeat an association and the mind associates or is "reminded" that Jake lives in New York City now and he is a "regular" on the subway.
Even though, @myirishjaredlove reported seeing him headed to a car after the show. Interestingly enough, there just are not tweet sightings of Jake on the subway trains prior to or after his shows this year. There have been several random ones, but they are few and far between. Which lends to the curious question of why this practice would pretty much cease to non-existent this time around?
Just wondering. :-)

Obviously, without me coming right out and saying it in the post, Jake doesn't want any chance of being followed. He's probably behind tinted windows in a black SUV (seems to usually be the vehicle of choice) and no one really sees where he's coming in from or where he heads to after the shows.
And that would likely be because this time around, he's located somewhere different. No more do you read about Maggie being in Park Slope. We don't see the girls and their mom or dad any longer walking to or from school. No more tweet mentions of either Peter or Maggie at the Food Coop.
The Gyllenhaal-gaard compound has likely moved somewhere else, is my thinking. Not sure why - I don't think the kids have been with Jake much at all until that Jake at the airport sighting a couple weekends ago. And I doubt they're going to be up there through April, although it's possible the family could be situated on the outer edges, away from NYC and Jake could still commute there on his days off. Hard to tell yet.
Seems pretty likely that unlike the first years of Baby Tile Number 1, the Tiles En Masse have got to be home schooled. These guys move around too much for the kids to be enrolled somewhere. And I wouldn't be surprised if Ramona and Gloria move right along with them a lot of times. Not all the time, but pretty darn frequently. That's my thought, anyway.
And no, I don't believe Peter is part of that moving compound.
Might want to turn down the volume on this post, Groovy Train is a pretty rockin' tune. LOL.
Anyway, it's an Amber Traffic Light beginning tomorrow for Jake and Austin followers. Probably a lot of shenanigans this coming week, so don't be surprised if the light turns red at times.
Jared and Jensen's traffic light has been a blazing red this past week and is perhaps on "orange" right now.
Louis and Harry? Constant red.
Nah, just kidding. Kind of a simmering orange. A perpetual simmering orange.
Forgot to change the avatar. And could not help but notice that it would appear Mr. Jake is a side brusher.
This is pretty funny. From Web MD and frequent mistakes we make when brushing:
2. You go to town on your teeth.
When it comes to brushing, harder isn’t better.
“I think one of the biggest issues that people have is that they try to scrub their teeth too hard. They feel like if they really don’t go at the teeth, like they’re trying to clean the grout in their bathroom tile, that they’re not doing the right job,” says Matt Messina, a dentist from Fairview Park, OH.
LOLLLLL!!! Like they're trying to clean the grout in their bathroom tile. I think that's hilarious.
And on brushing. Uh oh, buddy:
5. You go back and forth.
It’s a common brushing boo-boo -- going along your teeth, left to right. Again, think massage, not scrub.
“Start from the gum, and go up and down,” in little circular, up-and-down motions, says Sangeeta Gajendra, a dentist at the Eastman Institute for Oral Health in Rochester, NY. She says if you do it wrong, it won’t help you.
“In fact, you can do damage,” she says.
;D Awww, just having some fun. That grout comment killed me.
