Straight Outta The Day After Tomorrow

It came from out of nowhere.

Imagine our surprise on Monday, January 30th, when someone who doesn't tweet much anymore, tweeted this:

And not only did he tweet, but he also Instagram'ed:

A post shared by Austin Nichols (@austinnichols) on

The post didn't proceed to delve into the 100 different ways he personally came to know one of his co-stars , but merely stated the title of the movie and the year:  The Day After Tomorrow 2004.  Austin received a wide variety of comments from fans and there were several who gave a shoutout to the one standing in the middle (sorry Arjay Smith!) and knew that Austin and the one in the long grey coat shared a longtime friendship, one which used to be visible to and much beloved by the masses.

We even see an "old" familiar name in one of Austin's twitter replies with a minuscule endorsement, but one which carried an awfully mighty emoticon:

Same, Mr. Frost.  Same.

Narnia cannot recall when Austin has ever posted a picture on one of his social media accounts, one which clearly included Jake.  If January 30 was a special date, we here at Narnia sure don't know what it is.  The mystery behind this wild hair will remain just that for now, a mystery and a wild hair; and that's okay.  Men can be mysterious too, right?  ;-)  Perhaps it was just for him and his SO.

But for heaven's sake, let's hopefully rule out any kind of new, made-up rule regarding photo ops to celebrate a #congras RIGHT now, okay?  LOL!!  The ark overfloweth, fellas!

Woohoo, let's celebrate though - this wonderful, out-of-the-blue, shoutout that Austin sent on Monday.  There shall be dancing in the streets for just one day as we celebrate the Wild Hair!!

Huzzah!!!

Happy Friday, everyone!!

When it comes to Jake and Austin and a moment like this, ours is not to question why. At least at first. LOL.

I about fell out of my chair at work. And I had to text the Grand Poobah. And then I called M&M at her work. Because these moments are just too....they're like a shooting star that comes around every several decades.

And so we celebrate today - and what better day to celebrate than a Friday, right?

HUZZAH!!! Yea Austin!!!

I forgot to change the avatar.

Okay, now wait for the other shoe to drop. LOL! It's late in the evening, think I'm a bit punchy.

One more work day and then it's the weekend. So may God watch over all of us tonight, sweet dreams to y'all and take care going into work in the morning. And may He watch over all our special OTP's, keep them safe and together forever and ever.

Oops, I had a date error in there, that I just fixed. Rats!!

Well, blame this one. I didn't have ol' M&M proof read me. She would have caught that. That's what happens when I'm allowed to run loose here on my own. LOL!
