Weekend Musings: It's All In the Wording, Austin P McKenzie's Melancholy Release & Sea Wall / A Life's Second Opening Night

look.  and listen.




It doesn't get any better than that in this unsettling world, does it? [Although stay tuned for the end of this post because we're going to have another great twitter moment that is just about as good in a different way!]

Look and listen.  Well, that's what we do alot of around these parts.  A lot of studying and ear perking at familiar phrases and things unsaid.

 For instance, look at what actress Michelle Williams said recently, mentioned in a Just Jared post called "Michelle Williams on Fosse/Verdon: "I'm Always Looking For An Excuse to Sing and Dance".


“When I had first met Lin [Manuel Miranda], I sat next to him at an awards thing — I screamed when I saw him, but I thought it was going to be my only chance to ever interact with him. I had to make sure that I came back with a lot of things for the children in my life,” Michelle explained, but then he was an executive producer on the limited series: “Then when I realized we were going to be working together, I had to calm down.”

Most likely this interaction with Lin Manuel Miranda took place at the 2017 Oscars?  Which were held in Los Angeles.  And "I had to make sure that I came back with a lot of things" would indicate returning to New York City?


 
"the children in my life".   Huh. Where have we heard that phrase before?  


"I have nieces who I love deeply and I have children in my life I love deeply" - Jake Gyllenhaal in 2015 during the Southpaw press tour.



On another note, looks like her long-time friend Busy Phillips and daughters Birdie and Cricket are in the Big Apple concurrently.  For?  The Rockets Awesome Back-To-School Pop-Up Event.  Rocket of Awesome is a pop-up children's clothing store and they were going to have a collection for new & used clothing.

 Kind of attention-grabbing that the event is in New York City.  Perhaps it was a "before school starts" fun trip.  Or perhaps.....these could be a couple of the other children in Michelle's life - as in more routinely than anyone might think?

 Donde esta Liam?  Nah, we're not going to pester the young man.  He is in a quiet mode and that's okay.  Both he and Louis seem to be in a holding pattern, don't they?  Teasing, mentioning, talking up their future solo projects, but as yet, not releasing.  And I know fans are waiting and they keep asking them both about the "when?!", but isn't it obvious by now?  And wouldn't it be better for them to be able to release their long-awaited solo projects without having to deal with the abuse and PR-bombs that Sony/Syco seems to like dropping whenever either man has any kind of promo event?  

 Look what they did to Liam just as he released his great Hugo fashion wear.  The photo of Liam allegedly nude sitting in a chair is released, instead likely a composite? 

And no, we're not showing the photo on Narnia.

This headline from rag site The Sun tells us all we need to know:

 "Strip That Down Liam Payne Poses Totally Naked for Cringiest Picture Yet" - published July 10 in The Sun.


The photo was not posted on Liam's Instagram, but instead was posted on the Instagram of fashion photographer "Mert Alas" and features Liam's face on what is supposed to be his nude form in a director's chair.

 Liam was also tweet-shamed by louse Piers Morgan. 
What does this tell us?  Look at the parties involved and look at the timing.  Liam's Hugo collection was released on July 4 and was a shining moment for him.  It was HIS moment. 
And only days later, here comes the picture and the internet shaming by the rags who are always swarming around like buzzards every time a member of 1 Direction (with the exception of teflon Niall) tries to have some solo success.  The timing is everything.   The distraction is all-telling.
While Liam loves his body and doesn't hesitate to take off a shirt and he once posted a "nudish"-blurry photo on a boat, he hasn't gone as far as this photo took it.  Why would he take attention away from his own Hugo launch?

Enjoy your summer, Liam.  Your Hugo collection is sharp and well done!

The side benefit of a Baby Tile birthday or a Jaustin birthday/anniversary date is we can expect photographic content!  And this week's past Baby H Tile birthday event brought some preceding content, for one - in the form of Austin appearing at AMC's TCA event in Los Angeles for the show This Close. This was on July 25.

 And let's start the post wind-down with a look at Sea Wall/A Life's second opening night.  

 Here was Jake in a nice photo with Tom "Homewrecker" Sturridge on Thursday, Aug 8 (yes, Baby Tile's 9th birthday!):

And then there was the beard, Jeanne "Homewrecker2" Cadieu who is photo'd below in front of the back drop:



Jake and the beard....together on the red carpet?   Well, no.  Rather, a side-by-side.

And the after party?  Well, where was Jake coming from in the limo video  (the link will take you to the Daily Fail article that has the video)  Jake only appears from behind the second SUV limo and he probably got out of that vehicle, not the one Cadieu exited out of. There's a reason why we see her getting out on the street side.  He doesn't walk with her up to the Redeye Grill (where the after party took place).  Once he's up on the landing, Jake is hidden by an unknown male.  Then he brushes past her and goes on to exit the "conversation" with another unknown male.  Pfft! That was it.  Kind of a "brush-by", if you will.  Here we go, no need to go to the link:




 There were a few zoom lens shots inside the party, of Jake's profile  - four pictures on IHJ which all looked exactly like this one below:



And yet, they have this undeniably Jake pic from the same event:



And then there was Big Sis attending:

And what about original playwright Nick Payne?  A Life is really his play.  Was he....



Hmm, guess not.  Looks like a couple of notable folks were missing, doesn't it? 

But seriously, Jake can't have a regular kind of premiere, can he?  His people have to have it scheduled for the night of his kid's birthday to try and make it look like he has no family commitments.  They have to invite the beard for "homewrecker" photos.

They have the sibling's account post an Instagram like this with the "find yourself someone who looks at you like Jake looks at yeah, yeah, yeah we know how it goes":


 

Wondering if Big Sis let her brother-in-law Austin know about her contribution to his public burial at the breakfast table the next morning?

Not that he should be too hurt, lol.  Get a load of this.  Now, why would one need to mash up two photos together to produce this?  Sturridge's image is pasted on top of Jake's.  Not only that, but if you look at the feet, one of Sturridge's feet is practically on top of Jake's.  These are the things you look for. Not only that, but look at how the back of Sturridge's hair/head is abruptly cut off. What in the heck is going on there?

 
smh.  Until Jake learns to stand up for himself and tell his team No Mas, all of this extra-curricular undermining will always surround his professional activities.  


Their romance is said to be going from strength to strength.

It's not a whole lot unlike the Director's Chair photo sabotage that was done to Liam around the time of the release of his Hugo collection.  It's all about being a reminder of who's ultimately in control.

 And posts like this one will continue to be taken down under the assumption that it was a mere illusion of a very select few:


Unlike the members of One Direction who have been caught in a long-term contract that they are still under a degree of control of, Jake and Austin are going to be 40 years old in another year.  They have choices they can make on behalf of their family.  

Not Naomi Foner's family.  Not Maggie's family.  Not Sony or Marvel's family.  Not Jeanne Cadieu's family.  Not Tom Holland's family.  Not Tom Sturridge's family.  Not Chumley Harrison's family.  Not sister Ashley's family.  Not Patrick Whitesell's family.  Not Riva Marker's family.  Not WME/Endeavor's family.

 Their family unit. Jake and Austin's.  Born from both of them.

 But unless that day were to ever come, we're just here to show what the general viewer may miss - the signs that all is not as it is portrayed to be.  And while sometimes it can be hard-hitting, we try to have some fun at the same time.

 Apologies for not hitting upon everything that happened this week.  Time is of the essence!  Let's end on this wonderful note - if you love the sound of an old steam engine train, these two videos are for you.

I was a bit cranky on parts of that post, wasn't I? lol. I didn't mean to be, but as I was writing about Liam and seeing once again what The Mirror and Piers Morgan were writing about him, it was pretty irritating. Liam is the sweetest and like Louis, has had the baby/beard narrative strapped to his back. He's handled it all like a champ and he continues to make the best of his situation.

That is what is so admirable about both him and Louis, they make the best of some of what they have endured. I aspire to make the best of a situation and always fail miserably. But they inspire me so much. Not that anything I experience compares to some of the things that have happened to them, but hey, I've had some rough days myself sometimes. I just don't always handle it very well.

Anyway, his clothing line is so sharp looking.

Apologies for the mouthiness of parts of the post. It just came out that way. ;D

I think it's also quite possible (probable?) that some of the children in Michelle's life involve Jake & Austin's, at least when they are in NYC. After all, Matilda is Jake's godchild and I think he's not ever seen with her on purpose; it's a gesture of respect for both Matilda and her mother.

But Birdie was born in 2008, one year after Baby Tile number one son, and remember when Jake was seen a lot with Busy for a couple of years and so it's quite believable that the two children could be good friends. Cricket was born in July 2013, not long after 11-11-11 Baby Tile, which was a girl. So all of the parents have kids in the same age range; makes for a nice group of friends with many things in common. Plus, could make for a great support system and you can never have enough of that.

eems a bit off with Maggie and her not taking any pictures with her little bro, like she usually does. Why did her Instagram account have to photoshop Jake & Sturridge together like that? She could have taken a picture with both of them and used that instead.

IF she was really there, that is.

It’s just kind of out of pattern with past behavior, is all. And the whole deal with A Life being rewritten for this second time around. What was wrong with it the first time? And it was Nick Payne’s play, so they had to have gotten permission from him to change it.

Isn’t it interesting that Nick Payne has been totally MIA? In the past, he’s always attended openings with Jakers. Hmmmmmm...

I’m so annoyingly nosey, aren’t I? Yeah, I know.

I dropped the ball big time and did not get the music completed for ol’ M&M. She has her post ready to go and so I will be posting it as soon as I get home tonight.
