Greetings on this last day of May! Narnia wanted to raise our mimosa glass to a sweet anniversary today that should not be forgotten and then, while we're here, well, let's bring up a few other observations.
• Narnia could not let this day go by this year without observing and remembering May 31 from 2013, that stupendous day that we had this tweet (and one that is from Day 25 of the The Masterlist of 30 Days of Toothy Tile, Grey Goose and the Baby Tiles):
A seemingly harmless sighting of Jake by Deven Grey's mom and she texted her daughter to tell her about it. But it was the next tweet from Deven Grey to one of Jake's team's "twitter nosy-kins" which caught Narnia's eye:
Long story short, Jake wasn't supposed to have been spotted in Los Angeles at this time. Nor was his niece supposed to have been in Los Angeles either, as she had been spotted (and photo'd) with her mother, aka Big Sis Maggie, in New York City that same day. The 30 Days Masterlist post explains in further detail why the LA Club Lounge sighting rings as valid, but even looking again 9 years later, I believe more than ever that Jake was with one of his daughters this day and told Deven Grey's mother that she was his niece to hide her real identity.
As has been stated before, this incident began the trend of few-to-nil Jake arriving/leaving at airport photo ops. We also began to see fewer and fewer organic out-and-about sightings of Jake in public unless they've involved either a professional appearance or with the beard on a sidewalk. There's no doubt that Twitter has been compromised (as one can see with daily trends) and there must be a way to filter out sightings so that twitter users don't even see them. But public sightings of Jake (and Austin, for that matter) are also extremely rare these days because neither man is in the States near as often, barring a filming location requirement or the first year or two of the pandemic when they seemed to be hunkering down in southern California.
Jake and Big Sis Maggie's odd appearance at the recent Cannes Film Festival in France did provide an excuse, I mean opportunity for both to be seen, since they were already across the pond anyway...because, let's face it, a 75th anniversary of the festival seems to be a limp reason for both siblings to make such splashy appearances.
Or is it possible that the limp-excuse presence at Cannes will also later provide a geographical reason for "secret nuptials" to have taken place? One of those "Guess what we did?" announcements of a life-changing event which many closeted celebrities seem to have become fond of doing.
Since Big Sis married (whether it was legal or not, who knows now) in Italy back in 2009, why not Little Bro doing the deed overseas as well? And it would explain the beard's presence at Jake's side with her large-lipped dress.

Just don't be surprised if this is how they later "spring" nuptial news because there's a reason why she's walking red carpets now. At this point, Narnia is tempted to hold a raffle to see what date it will be announced! Maybe we could come up with a cool prize; if only we could get our hands on a coupon for a free carton of those plant-based eggs that Jake has invested in. 🍳 😃
Part of the Gyllynicholsgaard cul-de-sac, Michelle Williams, did have an actual film to promote at Cannes. Here she was with her changing "baby bump". Amazing the difference between the two outings on back-to-back days:

• Speaking of Michelle, we had another Hollywood "marriage" gone kaput:
The dreaded lightning bolt. And announced on the same day that Michelle was seen at Cannes, isn't that interesting?
The lightning bolt announcement also qualifies as a "Guess what?" because as the Just Jared post points out, the "split happened more than a year ago"! 👀👀
So as Michelle's domestic image continues to ramp up, longtime, close BFF Busy's is taking a public "break".
• Speaking of eyebrow-raising "baby bumps", we'll be seeing plenty of documenting photos of this oncoming train:

Also taking bets that No. 2 will be a boy. 😉
• And there's been supposed "background" provided as one reason behind the lightning bolt for KC Chiefs' tight end Travis Kelce and Kayla Nicole. Of course, the reason causes a black eye for who? For the male celebrity half, of course.
Narnia gives one point for originality for the idea that Travis is supposed to be a cheapskate. Anyone who has followed Travis for a length of time, should have a difficult time believing this Barstool Sports claim.
Likely we haven't seen the last of Nicole posing on a red carpet with Travis. It isn't hard for a PR team to "delete" photos from an Instagram account, like hers has done with #87 and wouldn't be hard to re-instate some and back-date them should another reunion occur. But, we'll see what's in store. Travis does seem to definitely be making moves towards his post-football career in the entertainment field and that may require a much higher-profile personality at his side, one with whom he could be seen having "power couple" double-dates alongside the Mahomes.
• And how about this late breaking announcement of Jared Padalecki missing yet another con? Narnia finds it amusing that this time, Jared's team is not going to try another personal "calamity" to yank him at the last minute from a Creation Convention Theater appearance. We know now that he's going to miss the Burlingame CA (San Francisco) convention in July, as Jared has tweeted today:
The conventions have been scheduled in far enough advancement that several have Gold and Silver sell-outs. In fact, for Burlingame which is the one Jared is "having" to cancel from, the Gold ($1024 per and if you wanted a Front Row seat, you need to cough up $1750) and the Silver ($899 per patron) packages were already sold out. So for any of those fans, they now will need to settle for another "heller con", for there are no reimbursements if a favorite cancels.
We'll see if the meard Misha Collins will be able to attend this coming weekend's Chicago Con after having a positive COVID test, which he posted about on his Instagram on May 26. And a reason why he posted was because he was supposed to appear this past weekend at Purgatory 6, another convention.
Would be interesting if Collins was made to sit out Chicago, just to show that it's not always Jared who has been booted out of conventions (so that Cockles can take over). 😷

This post today was supposed to be much longer, but there have been several unforeseen distractions occur today which took time away. So apologies for that!
The main topic I had wanted to originally be sure and write about was to remember the LA Club Lounge sighting and remember the time that Jake was enjoying brunch with one of his daughters. 😊
And judging by all of Sony's endless rounds of image sabotage, it would appear quite safe to say that despite the horrendous treatment, Ziam and Larrie are alive and thriving.
