Anyway, it can't always be fun and games.  We must scoot the frivolities out of the way!

👋 Happy day to all!  Before we post again, there are a few items of business which we need to tend to.

1.  Somehow, we lost our Search box that used to be in the upper left corner of the web page. Not to fret, though, in case you want to search those tags!  We added a new Search box and it is located on the right column, right above our stupendous Bernard Baruch quote and Disclaimer.  

[I will add though, that on my IPad, I was able to see the Search box back in its original spot!  Go figure.  For a couple of Microsoft browsers, it is missing.]

At some point, I need to figure out how to get it added back where it used to be, but for now, this is a seamless fix!

2.  Contacting either myself (Prairie Girl/PG) or Methodical Muser

After Methodical Muser's May 25th post about Zayn Malik, we were visited by a relatively new commenter who was trying to pose as a former Oh My Godot blogspot poster from nine (9) years ago.  At the same time, the party was also trying to pose as a fan/follower of Louis Tomlinson, and soon their true intent became clear as they would slip in damaging/ false narratives about Louis, in a back-handed fashion.  

That kind of tactic is not going to fly here and so several of their comments were deleted.

We at Narnia would like to keep the blog open to comments or discussion, so we will continue to be vigilant about its moderation.  

If you have a question or comment, the best way to do it is here on the blog, in the comment section (and it doesn't matter which post you use).  I will receive a notification to an inbox that I check every day.  As M&M says, we'll be quicker at replying to comments than we are at actually posting.  LOL!

And well, I thought this would just be a post with some announcements, but when you have this big piece of canvas just asking for something more interesting to add, the urge cannot be resisted.  So I'm going to flip this board because this author has some opinions and questions.

*  Has Blake Lively (and Ryan Reynolds)'s team been working overtime or what?  This post from June just really said it all.  On the surface, the reason for the photo op supposedly was because she had on a summer-y looking outfit.  There she was, smiling for the paps.  In New York City. 👀

But then came the 10,000x update on the mass of scripted lawsuits she's involved in, along with Justin Baldoni.  Predictably, some have "fallen apart" already.

What a clown show they've all concocted. 

Fast forward two months later and they're still at it.  Both parties and their people are using the tabloids to promote this legal nonsense.  When I can count on Just Jared to post every headline fed to them by PR teams, including this one from two days ago, which uses the phrase, "Face-to-Face Showdown", then I know this isn't serious business.  This headline seems more fitted for that old show, MTV Celebrity Deathmatch.  😣

 

 

 * Meanwhile, Mr. Austin Nichols has been doing nothing but promoting the heck out of "I Know What You Did Last Summer" which is now at the streaming stage.  The movie had its trailer debut at a special screening in Los Angeles on Saturday, June 14.    Looks like Austin was not in attendance, even though he later appeared on KTLA in Los Angeles.  💭💭

 

Since this time, Austin has been giving his Insta Stories a real work-out, placing himself far, far away from Jake, who has been VERY visible in ... Rhode Island, filming "Remain", a shoot that has been going on apparently since the end of his play, "Othello".  There is not enough megabyte space to post Austin's content and with no guarantees on Jake's exact filming dates for "Remain", we at Narnia can only assume that there has been a Gyllynichols Annual Fam Vacation worked into this summer at some point.

Who can ever forget when the code was cracked for the Summer of Mammoth Springs?  #GoodTimes  

 

*  This is some kind of slick PR work.  Another garlic necklace in place because just like with last year's hospital visit to Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, this one in Florida also emphatically tells us:  

"No crews allowed.   No media even notified."

This was a preemptive strike before anyone could accuse her people of using such a kind-hearted gesture as any kind of PR-related event.

And this post is not knocking the visit as far as doing a tremendous amount of good for the children patients and their families, even the staff as well. Bringing smiles and good will goes a long way.

But with all the emphasis on how paps nor news outlets were called, and yet the photos and videos are everywhere on social media and notable web sites like Just Jared and People.com., it tells you the visit counted on cell phones to convey "privacy" and "spontaneity". 

Last year on December 12, Shifty, aka Taylor Swift, visited Children's Mercy and everyone was clearly told the same reminder about how "television stations were not called, these are from people who were present at the hospital."  

Both visits to Children's Mercy and this year's to Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital in Hollywood, Florida, included mentions of her "boyfriend", Travis Kelce, for the recording cameras, as well. Isn't that something.

A gargantuan amount of photos and videos covering a wonderfully diverse hospital community of patients, and yet that evening, her team wanted to place known Trump "ally" (as called by the Daily Fail), Wayne Gretzky at the same suite, and sitting with her and Travis for awhile.

But like one reply I saw on X, the limited photos all look hinky.  Travis is in different lighting and you can see the skin tone separation line on Gretzky's profile.  But maybe that's a foundation line?

I mean ... the guy has on a dark suit ... he's sitting where the (limited) photos show he was sitting ... so I RECKON that was likely him? 

But I was not solidly sold, sorry!

Meanwhile, the high visibility for a Stanley Cup playoff game was to place Travis in Florida (where he allegedly has a mansion so he can train there for about two weeks) on June 12, while Patrick was a can't-miss in Kansas City, spending Tuesday, June 10 right behind home plate with Brittany Matthews, drawing all kinds of attention away from rookie Jac Caglianone's debut at Kauffman Stadium, and all the while wearing a Royals jersey with his own name/number on it! 👀   (Ah well, he is one of the owners, after all and we are thankful for that.)

Now, not only was Matthews there, but his generously compensated meard Gehrig Dieter was sitting a few seats down the row in his Yankee gear.  

Remember last season when Patrick had to make another big scene at the playoffs vs the New York Yankees with the meard?

 

 

  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The hash tagging of Dieter's name in that tweet was a clown touch, I have to say. That guy has never gone away, has kept bouncing back like a boomerang - does some coaching (as an intern) for the Chiefs, serves as an ambassador for a couple of local Chicken and Pickle's, and appears weekly on local sports talk radio station 810AM - WHB where it can always be reminded that he was a "bff" of Patrick's.

It really is amazing the career/life of a meard.  You have Gehrig Dieter who made a career out of it while mostly being a part of the practice squad.  You have Ross Travis (for Travis) who has been very well compensated for his time by getting to travel worldwide and hang with the famous of Hollywood.  There has been one of the biggest spongers ever in actor Misha Collins, who has been an incredibly compensated meard for Jensen Ackles all these years.  Oh, and Blake Shelton serving as Adam Levine's meard for the duration of "The Voice". 

And then there's Jakers, who creates a new Hello-My-Meard Name-Is tag for every director or co-star of whatever latest film he's working on, possibly the long-time kingpin of meard usage.  Hard to keep up with that guy!  😬  

Sheesh!

 * Looking forward to the opening of Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes' restaurant, 1587 Prime.   They're at the kitchen creation stage, so must be getting close!

It's a tough time right now to be opening an upper-end restaurant, so let's just hope they can have success with it.  I think this author will just be able to maybe walk by outside and look in if they post a copy of the menu in the window.  😂

 * When you spot something odd on social media, it's usually not a nothing burger.  Take for instance this random tweet that showed up in a Royals' player's twitter search.

 

For one thing, it was unfounded.  "Came out" when? Before the game?  They're practicing and getting ready for the game.  After the game?  

The tweet appeared right after a Sunday road game when the Royals team routinely has to leave immediately following in order to get on the bus and catch their flight, either for Kansas City or the next city.  Interviews with players for a post game show are rarely/never received because of this reason. Fans are fortunate to get a few words from the manager Matt Quatraro following the game.  But again, from players?  Hardly ever, ever.  So for that reason alone, this person's tweet stood out to me as not believable.  

When a closer look at "Marcy's" account shows that it joined the forum in March 2022 but at the time of this tweet, had only eight (8) posts? In three (3) years, eight total tweets/posts. Most of which were about the gymnastics performances of an alleged family member?  And here were the dates of the tweets/posts from this "Marcy" account:

That was it.  And then on the 20th of July , she is compelled to tweet about attending a Royals game, rips rookie Jac Caglianone, but praises a veteran player over alleged autograph signing/non-signing, but yet hash tags #GoGators (of which the Florida Gators is Jac's old school)?   

The Royals didn't visit Miami in 2024 (Miami came to KC).  But they did play in Miami in 2023. 

I'm not buying this.  Had she tweeted this same tweet after the Saturday or Friday game, I would've believed it was possible.  But not after a Sunday game on the road.  

The question is, why is someone using a suspect looking account to diss Jac, a player who has been often mentioned and photographed on Instagram and Twitter as one who spends a lot of time posing for photos with fans or signing autographs.  Why him specifically?  Why make a point to elevate the other teammate?  And what about the other players?

* Seeing and hearing this more and more in sports interviews/podium speeches regarding playing, wanting to win, how one practices, etc.

Doing it "the right way".

"We're going to celebrate "the right way."  "motivated the right way" 

What does that mean?   As opposed to wanting it or doing it the wrong way?  And if there are those doing these things the "wrong" way, why is it being outed without actually being outed?  😉

I have to take advantage of whatever chance I get to wish congratulations to this fantastically smart and professional MLB pitcher Seth Lugo, on his contract extension with the KC Royals.  This fan is thrilled and the pitching department will greatly benefit from this re-signing.  He spent seven years with the NY Mets, then signed with the San Diego Padres for one year so he could pitch as a starter.  After one season with the Padres, he signed with the Royals last year and I don't know how we became so fortunate to get him here, but he's here. 🎉🎉

Sunday Musings: A Re-Visit to A Friday Night at Borders with Jake and Austin

Well, here we are on August 01, everyone. Summer vacations are winding up and the stores are putting school supplies out on display.  Where did July go?

Just a couple of things have caught Narnia's eye that we wanted to mention because it's still kind of summer and even though school classes are getting ready to start here in the Midwest, the temperatures outside are hot and so we can't be stationary for long.  

 

 •   Guess what's popped up?  A few "new-old" photos from the infamous Friday Borders Bookstore Night in 2007.  This Instagram account @just_just_Gyllenhaal has been dominating Jake's Instagram and Tumblr searches for awhile now and I have no doubt Jake's people are the ones behind their shadily slipping in numerous "new/old" photos, mostly from 2006 and 2007.  Why do I think that, you ask?  Because where did the pictures come from?  They've appeared on this "just_just" account before appearing on IHeartJake and they're old.  How did they get ahold of them?  It's supposed to be a "fan" account.  How does a fan get ahold of "new/old" Borders and Lakers photos when they've never appeared anywhere else before, but now appear fourteen years later in 2021?  It's because Jake's people are allowing them to be released due to his being in Summer-of-Jake mode all spring and summer, aka they don't have new content from him.  (Until now, that is.)

Regardless, we're here to share these wondrous additions to add to the historic Jaustin Borders Collection and it's key to remember this was well before circa "Jake Gyllenhaal, 40™"   😁:

The last one is questionable because there is another frame very similar but it's not quite the same photo.   So there they are!  There are more of Jake solo frame's on IHeartJake, but we are showing the ones that include both men.  😊

Aren't these "new/old's" something?   I like how it's Austin who is coming out of the store with a few book purchases.  Jake was just along for the ride.  LOL!  Awwww...taking care of his guy!!

I believe Jared loves to read as well.  He and Austin probably hit it off just fine.  😊

• Speaking of Jared...where does one start with the whole Supernatural/J2 crew?  First of all, our readers might want to hoist a pair of these on, due to the depth of you-know-what which accompanies Jared, Jensen, Collins and their collective beard sidecars. 😉

We just want to point out a couple of very interesting developments because these kinds of "happenings" can't be made up.

- Did you know that less than a year after the ending of Supernatural, Jensen Ackles' long-time meard, Misha Collins, is now separated from his wife, Vicki Vantoch.  Supposedly, they've been married since 2001 and we're told that they met in high school.  👀  But now the show is over and suddenly, their marriage is kaput.

The personal life revelation is recent.

 

 

 

Look at that - the guy posts this news that he's "separated" in the Acknowledgments of his soon-to-be and incredibly timed released book of poetry.  And while the book won't be released until October, Collins has already been promoting and chattering about it, because well, he's like that.  The timing of this book is incredible.  Of course, it was planned this way.  It's the same strategy as Tay Swift "writing songs" about her "exes".  She's the one who started this back in 2008 with Joe Jonas, and now everyone (including music labels, networks and movie studios) use lyrics and "books" to sell what we all "need to understand".  If it's in lyrics, or in print, (published) it must be true, right?  That is Management's thinking, and the technique has been successful in both reinforcing narratives (images) and cementing closets.  

 

"Many of my poems are about my wife - the most important grown-up in my life.  After thirty years together, we have separated, but she will always be woven...(blah, blah, blah - edit)" - Misha Collins.  

 

Save it, Collins.  Gotta love the tacked-on ten years heaped on top of the 20 "legally bound" so that the extended tenure of "lovers' devotion" pads the passport of het cred.  The story about Collins and Vantoch's renewed wedding vows which took place in a supermarket should've already been a big red flag to the credibility of their now-believed fabled relationship.  

And so with the timing of this news of marital turmoil, the clouds have parted and I blame myself for absolutely not seeing the undercurrent before.  Because what hetero actor is going to meard for a closeted one for as long as Collins has for Jensen?  Thoughts?  And not only play the meard for so long, but relish it like Collins has all these years.  He was always allowed to be fandom-known as bisexual, but since he had the cover of Vantoch, no one (including this author) seemed to ever consider anything beyond that.

But this "separation/impending divorce" coming right on the heels of the show ending and a heaping increase of mearding activity with Ackles than ever before, now points to something different.   And not so surprising.

Collins was brought to Supernatural with the plan being that he would be a long-time meard to provide cover for Jared and Jensen.  The J's may have been showing a little too much of their chemistry on the show and since the focus was to be on the brothers (with neither character marrying or in a long-term hetero relationship),  Collins was added to the cast to eventually meard as the character Castiel, while also serving as a friend away from the camera and at conventions.  [And whoever is going to be a meard is going to benefit by the cover as well so that, like Gyllenholland, the situation will be a win-win.]  The J's receive distraction from their real-life relationship and Collins has been rewarded with employment and reward after reward after reward.

Because - anyone but Jared.  And if you are a larrie or a long-time follower of Jake and Austin, you understand exactly what that means.  Anyone but Louis.  Anyone but Austin.

However, as is the Hollywood way, even though the mearding has been off the charts, Collins still needed to have a garlic necklace - so he had Vantoch, for the duration of his stint on the show.   And again, now that the show is over?  Look what happens.   Pfft!  The dreaded lightning bolt.

What a cover.   And it's all fandom-contained, right?  The Cockles group love this news because hey, it supposedly explains the recent little "spare bedroom/pink blankey slip" and opens up a whole "cover up" of how it's been "Cockles all along".  Not J2, but Cockles!

I mean,

 

And yet here we are.  And an update on the Jared/Jensen blog, Spn Gossip, which was allowed a brief revival.  Remember the entire #136 post had disappeared in mid-July and we were told to understand that it was because someone had listed Misha Collins' home address (again with the Collins shoehorning) that the post had been suspended.

At that time, if you tried to access Post #136, you received the notice that the entry had been suspended.

 

And then several days later, an alleged moderator posted that a new post would be up soon and #136 might not be able to be recovered.  

"Miraculously", the post was recovered and available for viewing, after all.  But, now?   Well now, the whole entire blog has been torched, I mean "suspended".  LOL!

 

 

Pfft!

 

 

That huge mushroom cloud of smoke is nearly a couple of decades of links, comments, bitching, sniping, attacking, and gossip.   Now, we'll see if Spn Goss is un-"suspended" after what may have been another test-run, or if it'll remain a pile of unrecoverable ashes.  

Again, this blog take down comes after, when?  After the show Supernatural has ceased airing and Jared and Jensen are in the slow-mo process of taking their relationship underground, a la Jake Gyllenhaal and Austin Nichols.  Now, they can't take it totally 10 feet under because there are still conventions on the horizon, but there is a gradual peeling of layers going on and sometimes one may not realize it in real time.

It's just a giant soap opera all the time, isn't it?  If one is still checking, that is.  😉

Thursday Musings Pt. 1: The Cockles/J2 Taffy Pull Strikes Again and is Jake Gyllenhaal Finally Going the Full Route?

 Well, just a few observations from the bleachers that we'd like to toss out there.

 

 

 Let's get going.

• One of today's slices of Swiss cheese comes from the camp of Ben Affleck and Can't-Be-Without-the-Cover-for-Long Jennifer Lopez, aka J-Lo.  This is head-shaking and amusing at the same time.

This post is about how the "reunited twosome" had planned a special Instagram "reveal", but it was all thwarted by the evil paps!  📷

 

 

This was an earlier post which was speculating on the legitimacy of their "revival", using the same file photo.

 "Fueling rumors".  "Spotted reuniting".   "Rekindled romance".   The shredder had barely cooled down after "processing" the J-Lo/A-Rod contract and her manager was already having her Admin draw up the next one and in this case, only the dates needed to be updated. 💻📝

"The 48-year-old actor and the 51-year-old 'Let's Get Loud' superstar".   smh.

 

These two's "dating histories" are a veritable joint archive of Who's Who in the bearding/merkin pool.  So it's not a surprise that Ben and J-Lo's have about exhausted walkabout partners, so they're having to double-dip their toes into the same waters!  This is just comical at this point.  

To throw a few more logs into the publicity fire for Lopez, Sean "Diddy" Combs posted a Thursday Throwback on a past "couple walkabout" that he and J-Lo did back in the day when they were "dating" and then on Friday, a story appeared on Just Jared that she was meeting up another "ex" for coffee - Mr. Marc Anthony!   This was all in the same week.  Pretty heavy, doesn't it seem to anyone else?  😉   And by the way, if all these techniques seem familiar, maybe we should remind our readers just who J-Lo's manager was back in her Mark Anthony days 🠆 Irving Azoff.  Aaah yes.   It is indeed a small, "closeted" world, isn't it?

• Has anyone gotten a chance to see Austin in Walker Texas Ranger on the CW?  While this particular author is lost in the plot, it has been fun to see him be able to guest star on Jared's show and now we have had them in the same scene!  Both men were in the same scene in Walker's last aired episode.

I thought the next episode (#13) was supposed to air this past Thursday night, but there was apparently a change in plans and now, it will not appear until June 10.  A repeat episode aired this past Thursday and another rerun is airing next Thursday.   *wonders why*

Meanwhile, guess who are following each other on Twitter?  Guess?  Go ahead, I'll give you one guess, lol.

  Aaah yes!  And in return?

YESSSS!!!  That's what we're talking about. 

lol, I love that gif.   Anyway, the whole guest stint is nice and what's also nice to know is that Jared and Austin, no doubt, were pulling out their phones at some point and showing each other pics of their big broods.  😉

•  At the same time that both Jared and Jensen are evidently (and respectfully) not wanting to show pictures of their children as much anymore, the path that their team is choosing to take isn't a whole lot better.

Colorforms city!  That is Shep and who is supposed to be the new "fam" dog, Furbridger, who is a member of a breed which is common and also quite uniform in appearance. We are to assume the "Bridger" in the photo above is this same puppy which Genevieve's account introduced in a post on May 17.

 

 

Next to the infamous "missing arm" photo op that Jake Gyllenhaal's image was used with then-beard Alyssa Miller in July, 2013, this manip involving one of the children and who is supposed to be the "fam dog", has got to be right up there.  Let's briefly reminisce on the Miller manip.

It's quite the smoke show that Jared and Jensen have been putting on since Supernatural ended, one that has involved their usual case of characters, with a few new ones added in.  Jensen participated in longtime meard Misha Collins' GISH Festival, which was held last Saturday, May 22.  Of course Jared wasn't invited, I mean allowed to, I mean - able to attend, a la JibCon 2014/2015.   Here was the very "festive" looking schedule for Collins' event:

There's Jewel again at Stage 7 (remember, she hosted Jensen + beard Danneel on her Live from San Quarantine online show May 7, 2020).  There's the reliable, much beloved Rob Benedict at Stage 2.  And then there's Jensen at No. 1 for the opening ceremonies and No. 4 at 2pm PT, for a LIVE REUNION, aka panel.  

The Opening Ceremonies event happened, but the afternoon panel did not, leaving fans hanging.

Oh, there was an explanation given, something about a "time zone" mix-up which then resulted in the ol' "scheduling conflict", and an 11th hour! one at that.

 

 

Understandably, there were quite a few upset fans and predictably, there were the finger shakers and Heller internet police reminding the fans that these kind of "mix-ups" can happen and the GISH Festival was for charity-

 

 

 

See how the fans are played?   And the fundraising angle is used against the fans to make them feel guilty for asking questions.  

But hey, at least important information was pointed out, like Collins making sure everyone knew that Jensen hadn't "seen his kids" because he was "stuck" up in Canada due to the stay-at-home ordinance.

"So that means that you aren't able to see your kids, right?" - meard Misha Collins

 

For eight weeks Jensen is saying he hasn't seen his children.  That's two months if you want the separation to sound even more grueling.  Thank you, Mr. Collins, for that big scoop. Tsk, tsk, tsk, Jensen!  Oh, but it gets even worse.  

Here was Jensen over a week later on May 30, lamenting how he has now missed his oldest daughter JJ's eighth birthday.

Oh, and the self-loathing continued in the photo deck.

 

So the narrative of the kids really "being for the beards/wives" as often-spread on the J2 blog Spn Gossip continues post-Supernatural and Jensen is portrayed as just being out in the wild in Colorado hanging with Steve Carlson and then up to Canada during a lockdown, working with and getting to know his The Boys' cast mates and sitting in his extended-stay, lamenting how he's a terrible father during down time.

Interestingly enough, the Supernatural final season Gag Reel was released at the same time as the GISH Festival was happening and so while many heller fans were clenching fists and gritting teeth over the "JenMish" panel snub, I mean mix-up, the J2 fans were then treated to some pleasant Jared/Jensen content.  There was footage of the final filming scene and an interview with Jensen which included yet more re-hashing over the controversial ending.  

 

 

Butt hurt wounds were re-opened with heller fans while J2 fans were swooning over the incredibly-timed video release.  One might have thought some heller fans had opened their hearts and wallets for the last time due to the latest festival stunt.

But like a fly fisherman reeling in his catch, Management, Collins and Ackles (sounds like a law firm, doesn't it?) pulled out a new one.  Not "unseen" pictures, but an entire "unseen" post!  A post dated November 2020 that was somehow unearthed with a photo deck which was topped with a photo shoot moment that barely included Jared,

 

Well, those could only be Jared's legs, right?

And "buried" within the photo deck (like an afterthought, see?) was this one (photo on the left),

Of which the photo on the right would appear to be a re-do of the iconic, original one on the left.

Aaaah yes.  Management teams love to re-do because it taints the original, rubbing the shine off of it for the OTP fans.  In this case, it's pretty difficult to top the original.  You also have to love the tip of the baby's head that was left just visible at the bottom of the "Cockles" photo in order to fuel the Toothy, Grey Goose & Baby Tile, I mean - blind fantasies of the heller stans.  😜

Interesting, isn't it?  The role of the professional meard?   In Collins' case, even as of the end of May, his IMDb remains the same with no acting gigs lined up.

But why bother when he continues to be on speed-dial for the J's in a role which he thoroughly relishes and well, so enthusiastically bends over backwards for?  

Dyed-in-the-wool J2 fans have to ask why the continued pandering by these two?  Jared and Jensen couldn't be more separated as they are on separate shows, filming in different locations...one has to ask why is Collins still around at this juncture in time?  It's not to hide "Jared and Jensen" anymore, so what more are they hiding?

One last word on this latest chapter (albeit an unfortunate one) in J2-dom, our own M&M has had a knack for nailing "spot-on's" from the costume design departments of our OTP's, i.e. Mr. Jake Gyllenhaal and his Velvet Buzzsaw character "inspiration" which was clearly drawn from one of his meards, Mr. Nick Payne [see Narnia's post Sunday Evening Musings:  Is It Morf or More Like Morph?]

But I think she nails another one.  Does anyone see any difference here with Jensen and the added accessory on his chin,

and...Rasputin?

Jensen???  Or...Rasputin?

LOL!  That is not a manip either, Google that guy Rasputin.  Jensen is now quite the ringer for Rasputin.

I'm sorry, but that is just UNCANNY.  We're just sayin'....

•  And what has Jake been up to?  Well, Jake, his beard Jeanne Cadieu and his social media and publicist team have been busy as well, planting a gradual seeding of Jake's biological clock growing weary of the snooze button being hit.  Let's see how they're doing it.  When last we saw Jake and Cadieu, they were taking their tin foiled (the subtext!) food leftovers for a pap walk and stirring up chatter of engagement ring speculation.

And twitter is preparing everyone as well, encouraging a virtual kind of "meet and greet" for the fiance-to-be!  No one wants to be caught unawares, you know.  😉

and they were photo'd together one more time, this time sans the meal leftovers in aluminum foil, and making sure the fingers were lined up appropriately.  😉

Since Twitter and printed media seem to have attached "40" to the end of Jake's name, i.e. "Jake Gyllenhaal, 40," it would seem that the message being sent to all of us is that the batteries in Jake's biological clock have about run out of juice and it's time for him to put up or shut up with regard to that classic meme of his, "You know, I am not a father, but I would love to be one someday".  

"40" seems to be that witching hour.  And hey, nowadays in Hollywood, Jake has all kinds of options.  He and Cadieu can pull the "oh, didn't we tell you?  We already got married five months ago" card.  Or they could get engaged, soak up those headlines for a couple of years, a la Blake Shelton and Gwennie Stefani, and have a stunt baby while they wait for the wedding invitations to come in from the printers (like a famous QB we have observed! 😉).  If Mara wants to provide an image booster shot for Jake, well, they could go full glam and have that big wedding in a barn, Bingo Hall or someone's private she-shed with the People.com exclusives.  

We'll just have to see when we see.  In the meantime, don't look too closely at the plastic baby because knowing Jake, he or she just might be another real Baby Tile hiding in plain sight.  👼🍼   This wouldn't be Jake's first rodeo in taking a Baby Tile on their first pap walk.
