So where does this leave us now? Well, the puzzle remains unsolved. Anna is still MIA. Her Tumblr and Twitter continue to post daily at the same time. If one has been observing, you would see that her accounts were reblogging anything hash tagging "SpnPhxCon" or "PhxCon". It was amazing how many were hash tagged in that fashion. The posts are generally pretty tame, pretty vanilla, but no longer are they controversial, bold, engaging. They also no longer talk about the wives with the recent exception of this post, which was interesting:

It
is a reblog of a post about Jensen face-timing Danneel with a caption of
"Awwwww", something that doesn't seem in character with Anna's
beliefs that the J's were in marriages not of their preferential life choosing.
So
in one attempt to go back to June 13, the last day that Anna was active on her
social media and inter-acting, I thought I would try to see if there was a post
which could have been a trigger. In
doing so, it was clear that from the very beginning of her Tumblr, Anna had
always frequently posted about the marriages and the beards in detail. So it didn't seem likely now that this could
be the reason for her being rid of, not if she was active on social media since March. So
what was one thing that did stand out?
That there were two posts within a couple days of each other, where Anna
hash tagged Jared's publicist:
On June 10th, Anna hash-tagged "Chico" and "Suzanne
Gomez" in an Anon Ask post focusing on the children and Genevieve,
analyzing a picture:
On the 13th, Anna responded
to another Anon Ask titled, "Genevieve seems to be close friends with Suzanne
Gomez isn't she CW PR rep".
The
second post came on the day she was last active on social media. Did something hit a nerve? Were these the posts that went too far? Hard to tell, but they do stand out to me. Why?
On both posts, Anna tagged both "Chico" and "Suzanne Gomez"
where she never had done so before. And
this was a publicist in a fairly influential position. Publicists' jobs are to carry out a
narrative, preserve the image. These
were two posts which came before another direct contact from another Tumblr account
which was negative and disapproving, a person-to-person engagement that seemingly
was one of her lasts, if not the
last.
In
conclusion, questions remain in addition to regrets on not knowing how serious
the threats were, being unable to intervene somehow and prevent Anna from
reading whatever damaging and threatening DM's were coming in to her. Because
she disappeared promptly on the 13th. There was radio silence on her account
between July 13 and the 17th. That
signals to me that something happened
on the 13th.
And
finally, a PSA to all of us on social media.
This is all very real. Please
take it seriously. Anna told two of us
on social media that she felt she was being watched, creeped on, and was
threatened. These Management teams mean
business. They have their ways of
contacting civilians. My best
suggestions to you to avoid something like this happening should you be one to post anything controversial concerning
closeted celebrities:
1) Please consider not allowing Anon Asks on Tumblr. Make folks put a
name on it. If you do allow Anon Asks,
the minute one person gets abusive? Stop
the Anon Asks. Making folks put a name
on their asks makes them somewhat accountable if they're being abusive.
2) On Twitter?
Same. Blocking is there for a
reason the minute someone gets abusive. By
abusive, I'm not talking the simple arguing. I'm talking about name calling and
anything with a threatening tone, or even a nagging, annoying harrassment. You
don't have to listen to it or take it. #Blockem.
3) Do
establish social media friendships when possible. The support is important as well as
protective. It's like knowing your
neighbors and watching out for each other.
Management will see that you have a bit of a "posse" that
keeps in regular touch with you.
These
steps aren't bulletproof, but at least they are steps we can proactively take
to try and protect ourselves. lol, I know most folks are on Twitter and Tumblr
to have simple fun, post pics and act silly. These words of advice are mainly for a few of
us who can get more involved and post in particular about closeted celebrities.
I
hope this helps bring to light what happened to one of our colleagues and I
miss Anna very much. She was a very friendly
person, quite curious and interested in learning about the celebrity closet,
just a great student. She did her
homework and her blog was already a great resource. I seriously doubt we will see her again, which
was the main reason why I posted a piece of our DM exchanges.
Anna's
online disappearance has NOT gone unnoticed and it will not be for naught if we can learn
from this internet bullying experience.

Well, if you made it this far, kudos to you. ;-) Sorry for the long series of posts, but I felt that much needed to be seen to get a feel for the progression of what happened. It's kind of a lot to read and absorb, but when it comes to stuff like this, it can be difficult to condense into one little post when it took several months to actually transpire.
Speaking from personal experience, it can't be reiterated enough how real this is. It's not an exxageration, it's not imagining things, it's not explainable except that Anna was bullied off of the internet. It does happen, but most folks do not need to worry about this because I think the majority of J2 fans on the internet are not into seriously discussing celebs in the closet.
And I would go on to say that it probably depends on what you're talking about and how close you are to nailing some real truths down. Truths that Mgmnt really does not want discussed and spread around. And that is when they clamp down on civilians.
I hope later on M&M will share her observations on some of the Larries who were bullied off of the internet. Was it because they were getting too close to truths? Or was it to try and shrink that massive fandom?
Speaking as someone who came from Oh My Godot, a blog that was devoted to Jake and Austin, and also branched out onto Twitter and Tumblr, harassment is something that's become kind of a regular occurrence, lol. I've got a little tick who loves to interfere in my conversations with Twitter folks and when we were on Oh My Godot, he literally spammed that blog into permanent moderation. That's why we're here.
Blocking has taken care of his being able to contact me directly and this is why this blog has to be a team member only forum. He cannot touch us here. That person(s) comes from Jake's management team. Absolutely no doubt.
Civilians can be intimidated off the internet. Mgmnt or their paid interns will find your Achilles heel and go directly after it. But when it comes to whole blogs, sometimes Mgmnt will just take it over. I'm not quite sure how it's done, but there is no doubt Waiting for Toothy 2 has been taken over by Jake's people. It's where the tick has resided for years. Oh, I'm sorry, did I refer to a person as a tick? I meant barnacle, I mean 'person'.

To differentiate a bit, as time passes and observations are made after encounters on social media, I think there are at least a couple of different types of "interns" used by Management. I think the troll that has harassed some of us from OMG is paid. He has to be. He's on the internet constantly as though it is a full time job.
But then I think there are folks on social media or in fandoms who are used by Management to carry out a task on Twitter or Tumblr or Instagram. In return for posting that a celebrity is in a certain location at a certain time or with a certain 'someone', they get access to that celebrity in return - perhaps back stage passes, up close and personal opportunity for pictures, meet and greet, whatever. They are compensated with some kind of direct access to the celebrity instead of an actual payment. That way, it wouldn't cost them so much.
Just a thought/belief.
Back on September 07, I saw Decoding Anna's Twitter pass my feed with the tweet of that Tumblr post of Jensen face-timing with his beard and shot off some tweets in direct reply to the account:

Anyway, if anyone wondered if Anna was still there, those tweets received no reaction from the account.

Off to watch the kitties for a few days and hopefully try to work on my fanfic. So Narnia may not update to a new post for a couple of days, not sure yet. Plus, my brain is a little limp. Ha! Nah, we'll see how it goes, but I'm not planning on doing a new post for a couple of days.
Plus, back to work after several days off, and after having checked all my work emails, blech. I'll be slammed tomorrow and Friday trying to catch up.
If anything cool happens, or not so cool, we'll be around. There's usually something going on with somebody, right? ;-)
Wow! What an amazing serial post, PG. My mind is still whirling from all the content. You have put a lot of research, analysis and dedication into this compilation. Wherever Anna is she certainly could not have a better friend than you. Except for that lone voice on Spn_Gos, you are the only one who has paid attention to her account, and asked all the right questions, caring enough about her mysterious disappearance to directly investigate what was going on.
Although we will probably never know exactly what happened, it's pretty darn obvious that someone threatened her off social media. Either through a cease and desist or some kind of personal intimidation. Maybe the powers that be found out where she lived and she feared for her physical safety? Given the consistent nature of her queries, those forces would have had to be affiliated with Jared and Jensen. Charged to protect their self interest. I agree that it seems like her sudden disappearance and unknown fate had something to do with the following discussion:

The added fact that the monotonous queuing of her account being set to automatically reblog about the Phoenix Con tells me that whatever decision was made by management, it was a quick one. The Supernatural Convention in Phoenix took place from June 10-12th. Anna disappeared June 13th. And then, as you stated, there was "radio silence on her account" between July 13 and the 17th. Given that the Con ended five days earlier, it doesn't make much sense to be reblogging about the event five days later. I know those J2 fans, they blog in real time and then move on to the next issue or topic, or tweet.
I wouldn't be surprised that the discussion of one of the beards and her close relationship to "Chico" is what caused such an extreme response. She was getting too close to something. Hmmmm.
There was the anon on Spn Gos who tried to bring up the question of what happened to Anna, and I have a few online allies who had also keenly noticed, so I want to be sure and point that out. But someone needed to raise a louder stink about it and with the great help of several social media cohorts who have provided heads ups and tips and shared their thoughts, you all know who you are, I thank ALL of you. I don't mind being the big mouth, but it takes all of us as a team to put this all together.
And it's not going to fade into the background either. Anna's daily single entry passes my timeline every morning, so it's not hard to see.
