Austin Nichols - the Man in the Yellow Lightning Bolt Hat

Doing a double post today - neither one is anything "groundbreaking" or "shocking".  They're both just kind of random thoughts and observational kind of things. 

Anyone who tweets or Tumblrs about OTP's, makes openly frank statements about doubting contractual marriages or fake relationships on a regular basis, puts themselves in a position to be trolled or approached by a representative sent by said OTP's team.  Not something to be terrified about, just to be aware of.  

Most of us have recently witnessed this possibility in Decoding Anna being bullied off of the internet by the J's people.  Some of us OMG regulars could conduct a clinic on the multiple ways Oh My Godot was invaded.  And the harassment continued to social media, all for naught of course.  ;-)   How do the interns/trolls try to infiltrate? Well, here was one way.

1.   Beware of hyperlinks sent to you in emails or private messages unless you're fully comfortable with the person you're talking to. Instead of clicking on the link, Google the subject or title and find it yourself on the internet.

2.  Hyperlinks can contain spyware.  If you click on one from your cellphone, the spyware can enable another party to listen in on your phone conversations.  Beware of strange noises on your phone which can be a heads up you have a "visitor" on the line with you.  A factory reset may be needed to clean your phone.  You can Google this on the internet and find the existence of spy software that enables people to listen in on other others' phone conversations.

3.  In the case of the deep HW closet, listening in on other folks' conversations can help Mgmnt with a pre-emptive strike. They can adapt their photo ops to counteract a fan's theory.  

4. Let's take a look at an example.  What if, let's just say, that a fake bearding/merkin HW relationship began to wind down with barely existent activity and interaction for a significant length of time.  A cell phone conversation might touch upon the possibility of the approaching end to the contract. Of course, the speculation isn't going to be made on social media or any blog because of previous experience.  No need to tempt Mgmnt, right?

Barely a week later, during Labor Day weekend, Austin began wearing this odd hat which was not a San Diego Chargers hat; it was not the same lightning bolt and could not be identified on the internet.  

6.  Without a positive source for the hat, one might think that, coupled with the recent tweet about the lightning bolt being a gossip rag symbol for a break up, that the hat might be a sign of...a possible break up between Austin and beard Chloe Bennet?  LOL!  The thoughts of the naive, right?

7.  Labor Day came and went, blurring into October with scant interaction between the two parties and "cryptic" photos like a downsizing sofa pic on the beard's Instagram and "lonely" photo of her and oft-used deard, Wally.  So if you follow the signs, the scene went from this...

Aaaah, the spoonfed caption of "updated".  Another sign, right?  Of upcoming probable break up? Because how is Austin going to fit on the naptime "corner" couch now?

 

8.  New York Comic Con passed with the continued narrative of barely-there interaction and photos of the bearding couple, "cryptic" signs like Instagram'ing of a break up song lyric from the beard.

9.  By Oct. 11, a complete reversal of narrative took place with the Art for Health event co-hosting appearance in Chicago and "Game Back On" became the theme of Wangchols to the hyper point where we are today, which is Hetero Relaysh on Steroids, ha ha.  False alarm!  Contrived from nothing, right?  Or was it?

10.  On October 29, the Mgmnt-compensated troll made the following comment on his blog, Waiting for Toothy 2 [author note, my nickname on Blogger is PG]:

Melting Mary is really upset with Austin.
Pee Gee predicted that "contract is about to end" while Austin was filming in Canada,
but Austin doesn't give shit about that.

Solution?

Not one, but TWO POSTS about new silly lie: Austin being in New York with Jake for 'Sunday in the Park with George'.
No one saw Austin in New York - because Austin was in LA - but slash fiction isn't about reality anyway.

11. How does this Online Safety Powerpoint Demo conclude?  Well, where the Troll screwed up was I had never made this comment anywhere online. Not on my Twitter.  Not on Narnia Dispatches.  Not on my Tumblr.   I had only made anything close to this speculation in private.

I have gone back through my Twitter and on the blog, never made any such claim in public.  So how did the Troll know this?  I have a couple of options where the breech was made, but most likely the break was made via the cell phone.


Lesson learned.  Steps taken.  lol.  Amazing, isn't it?  Gary's Tavern vs. Cheers.  Wolves in sheep's clothing in the form of Austin Nichols who has been hanging too long now within the wolf packs of HW to be considered a sheep any longer, folks.

Phone 'tapping' is illegal.  Spying on civilians' private discussions is Big Brother-ish and puts one not that far off from the category of our American government.  Perhaps feelings of desperation are what prompt such desperate actions.
