Doing a little research for Narnia's next post and stumbled upon this little nuggito that I don't even remember seeing before. Back in the day before Just Jared did a Bissell sweep of all comments on old posts, one could take up their magnifying glass and search for gold in them there hills. ;-)
And indeed, back on August 25, 2013, there was this seemingly innocent post on the John From Cincinnati premiere held on May 31, 2007.
Some great vintage photos in what looks about like any other current Just Jared post (with the exception of the "Jake Gyllenhaal's BFF" mention) and....well, wait a minute. Where are the comments? Well, I think the New and Unimproved Just Jared entry is missing at least one. You don't say?

Hugo's is a healthy eating establishment located on Santa Monica Blvd in West Hollywood. Perhaps on those occasions Austin allowed Jake to choose where to chow down. LOL! Thank you, WeHoGuy. By the way, did you know that 40% of the male population in West Hollywood is gay? Just a little tidbit to go along with our original nuggito.
That Comment #26 is a real keeper. How surprising that there are no additional remarks/replies on this thread now. Just Jared eliminated the public comments on this and many of Jake and/or Austin's past write ups; most likely for other celebrities as well, I just haven't looked that extensively. But, I wouldn't be shocked if Jake's people were front and center in the complaint line.

Well, well, well, well. All sorts of happenings going on today, some of them involving a few Mutley snickerings from mgmnt publicity teams.
And you know, with the J's, as always, requires more watching. As though they didn't have enough nonsense the past several days with one of the beards going over the top with her social media. My eyes just about flew out of the back of my head, lol.
You know one thing I am really side eyeing in the J2 fandom is how Spn Goss has dried up like a pond during the Dust Bowl. No longer the place where "everything" is brought anymore. Scant activity but for whiners and gripers. Although that's not a whole lot different than how it was. LOL! But it used to be where so much discussion and links were brought.
Hmmmmmmmm, no more. Now isn't that mighty interesting. Not only that, but...something else to point to me that Spn Goss was always a place full of mgmnt interns. They had a poll very recently when allegedly the blog was not "tracking". So some anons were griping that they couldn't track, what was going on with LJ, something fishy going on, LJ might be going down, let's move the blog to Dreamwidth, whadya say?
And so the mods took a poll to see how the group felt about moving Spn Goss to Dreamwidth and I was really surprised by the small numbers of voters. The vote went 57 to 18. That's only 75 folks in a fandom which holds waaaaay more activity than that. I know because we've had a few posts get hundreds of views.
So like WFT, are Spn Goss's days dwindling? And for real this time? I know I've seen days when it looked like Mgmnt was imploding the place, but now it's like a tomb. And I think Mgmnt has what they want. Many voices are off the main path and hidden from public view. All the better for them, right?
Or perhaps until the next big stunt occurs and we'll see.
