Ghost Town Part II: The Boarding Up and Re-Release of a Jake Gyllenhaal Blog

This would be called a "low key", "casual" follow up to our previous post:  Ghost Town:  The Boarding Up of Yet Another Jake Gyllenhaal Blog.  First of all, let's take a peek in a few of the boardrooms of Team Jake and Austin:

Goodness.  Well, let's go down the hallway.  Here's Social Media Central.  Let's pop in there and say hi -

Oh boy, doesn't look like a good day there either.  Well, let's try one more.  Maybe the Archive and Research division:

Yup, yup, yup....a little stressed in there as well, looks like.

You know, Narnia Dispatches isn't going to waste a lot of further time on this subject.  Obviously, Mgmnt was a bit perturbed by the post on the disappearance of Wet, Dark and Wild, which has miraculously re-appeared despite being hidden in Google searches.  Shouldn't be hard, should it?

If you  can find Oh My Godot in this fashion:

Then, WDW should be able to be found the same way, correct?  This morning, it was not  [Warning:  Offensive language/subject matter]:

Nor was it this way:

Notice what M&M and I had found this past week - you can see the name of the blog, but the sites which are referenced are via Pinterest and wordpress.  "Polyvore" was also a popular site, although not seen in this search screenshot.

Imagine one's surprise this afternoon when suddenly the WDW blog is available once again in a simple Google search:

Narnia has scraped our plate.  Wiped our mouths.  Pushed our chairs back from the table and taken our dishes to the kitchen.

This dinner is over.

A typical psychological technique used by Management teams trying to manipulate online fandoms who follow closeted couples:

Gaslighting or gas-lighting is a form of mental abuse in which information is twisted or spun, selectively omitted to favor the abuser, or false information is presented with the intent of making victims doubt their own memory, perception, and sanity.

The only problem is that truth is stronger than lies and deceptions. Particularly, if people are paying attention and have knowledge of the past. The bottom line is that "Wet, Dark and Wild" is no longer searchable to a user interested in finding Jake Gyllenhaal blogs online. Pure and simple. But, it was as recently as April 2017.

For instance, if the following search phrase is typed into Google, "Jake Gyllenhaal Blogspots" these blogs come up with no problem: Gyllenbabble; Oh My Godot; Waiting for Toothy 2. Wet, Dark and Wild does not appear. But, interestingly enough that blog did come up as recently as four months ago. That indicates the blog is no longer accessible through real time searching for some reason. And, that's what Jake's Management team wants. To bury archival information on Jake Gyllenhaal whenever possible and hopefully when no one is watching. Since the blog is no longer active burying those pages is easier to do. But, given that the blog is still "up", why would website no longer be searchable as WDW was earlier in the year and, actually, had been since 2015, when Kate stopped posting? In other words, why now?

If a searcher does not know the exact name of the URL, they will not be able to find that blog, ever. And, that's all that matters. Even curioser, some browsers do take the searcher to old posts from Wet, Dark and Wild, but when you click on that link, this is what displays: This domain may be for sale. Backorder this Domain The link should direct the person to the WDW page, not a domain for sale message. In other words, the message to a typical searcher is that the blogspot is no longer available. It's for sale. Pretty clear to me.

George Orwell, 1984:

And if all others accepted the lie which the Party imposed – if all records told the same tale – then the lie passed into history and became truth. "Who controls the past," ran the Party slogan, "controls the future: who controls the present controls the past....All that was needed was an unending series of victories over your own memory. "Reality control," they called it: in Newspeak, "doublethink."

This post needed to go up in a timely fashion due to the libel'ing and manipulation that was going on. Searching for a blog should not be so difficult that you have to type it into the Search Box in a certain way. And so there was some messing around going on because someone(s) wasn't happy.

It is what it is.

But Narnia will make a point to have some fluff'lier fare next time around. We need some frivolity and GOOD NEWS.

Yes, we do. ;-) Next post.

Thanks for visiting. We really do appreciate it.

Ha ha ha ha, just having a laugh looking at those tantrum gifs. You know, you just know that Jake and Austin have had many of these tantrums pulled on them. No child of Jake's is going to be an angel. LOL!

There were some pretty amusing gifs to sift through. The ones where the kid throws or hurls him/herself on to the ground are my favorites. I have seen plenty of these in Wal Marts and whatnot. Or the parent holding onto the kid by the hand and when the kid doesn't want to walk on their own, the parent hoists the kid up and off they go, kid wailing away.

I so do not want to be a parent when I see those scenes. And you know that the parent is cringing a bit inside. ;D

Of course, there I was one time chasing a dog through the neighborhoods of Fairway KS because he got away from me. Boy, did I feel like an idiot until I finally wised up and walked back to the house. Sure enough, Lucky followed me when he saw that I wasn't going to play his game anymore. But it took long enough for me to wise up.
