Bigfoot, Loch Ness and Baby Tile

Awhile back, M&M comprised a list of 50 clues hinting towards the existence of Baby Tile(s).  Directly below are the first-hand "witnessing's" which were part of that document, along with a few which occurred after she put the compilation together.  The following tweets and internet comments are all references to Baby Tile(s) sightings, not necessarily in chronological order.

• This picture was unsuspectingly taken by a fan in Montreal at the movie theater during the time period when Jake was filming Source Code. We believe this was the nanny and you can see a glimpse of a little girl whom he is holding:

• The blond "Montreal" woman looks very similar to the woman here carrying a blond baby and walking in front of Jake and Reese while in Paris.  There was a video where Ava Philippe (Reese's daughter with Ryan Philippe) runs up to this blond woman and reaches up briefly to touch the little baby's arm before pulling her hand back down.  This video is now gone from the internet.  

• Also around the time of the firstborn Baby Tile, Special K (blog administrator extraordinaire at Oh My Godot.com) recounted a Data Lounge comment:

It was such a random thing to see Happy Father's Day with Jake's picture. But remember the girl who talked about Jake's daughter being in daycare in Pittsburgh when he did LaOD. And the mention on Datalounge about Jake and Austin with a baby in their backyard. Don't forget Jake seen with a baby stroller in Brooklyn. (When Ramona was too old for one and Gloria hadn't been born yet). The mention of him with a little girl at the museum in LA, the little kid with him at the theater in Toronto.

• There were also these two tweets sent out in succession by Savannah Rice on Father's Day in 2015. The second tweet very quickly was deleted, but the first one remained up. I retweeted her and added "True that!", after which Savannah then Favorited my retweet :

• And now we have a brood sighting in 2016 by a flight attendant:

Ahhhh yes, let us count the many ways. These sightings or first-hand mentions, when combined with multiple other clues that have been accumulated, such as:

• what appears to be a drool stain on Jake's sweatshirt shoulder 
• small bare foot imprint on Jake's thigh as he exited a medical building
• Jake carrying two small boxes and a heart-shaped tin of candy while leaving the medical building

These three are just a few of many clues that we have seen since 2007 and into October of this year 2016.  Some folks love to ask, "What about photos of these supposed children?"  "No one has ever seen these alleged Baby Tile(s)"

No one? Never seen?  Well, there you go.  With an awareness of new followers and interested parties in the Jake and Austin, aka Toothy Tile, Grey Goose and Baby Tile(s) story, M&M and I will be looking at several of these sightings in depth in the near future.  For instance, the Jake and his "niece" sighting at the Ritz Carlton is a story with more background to it which lends credence to its credibility.  

But in the meantime, during this season for the children in all of us, we at Narnia Dispatches thought we would take another simple look at this "myth" of the children in Jake and Austin's life.  While Bigfoot and the Loch Ness didn't have the benefit of social media, the evidence for Baby Tiles has indeed sprang forth from nowhere onto the timelines and comment threads of Facebook, Twitter and discussion blogs.

And because of these numerous mentions and sightings, the next time you may see a tweet like the following, it would be wise not to dismiss so easily.   Because you never know.......

Happy Birthday, Jakie!

Another year, more stunts, a mystery woman, a dash of Leo rising, and a looney, exhibitionist beard who can't act her way out of a paper sack have all come together to provide some entertainment and a whole lot of distractions over the last several days. Social media is on overdrive trying to upload "evidence" of a romance which is about as believable as any hatched in a Hollywood conference room. Thanks for confirming that one thing can be certain after over fourteen years together. In this 36th year of Jacob Benjamin Gyllenhaal's birth, Austin Nichols is still his main squeeze.

You may be pushing 40 Jake, but you sure know how to pick 'em.  Regardless how hard you both try to prove otherwise, we know who is blowin' out those candles with you tonight. A.U.S.T. I. N. Your forever cuddlebug. Smile for the camera boys.  Awwwwww.

Worth Every Penny - Kris Allen at the Kauffman Center

First of all, this wasn't Kris' tour.  He was touring as a guest of Jim Brickman. Not only are both of these men very talented, but Jim also had electric violinist Tracy Silverman and singer Anne Cochran in his ensemble as well.  All parties performed with the Kansas City Symphony this past Friday night, December 9.  The tickets weren't cheap and my bank account is still wincing just a tad, especially after finding out that admission to the Wichita KS show is considerably less!  But that's okay; most likely part of the hefty price was paying for the venue.

Promoting his new Christmas CD, Somethin' About Christmas, Kris performed with his guitar, Jim, Tracy and Anne.  I could not believe I was actually there and all 4 individuals did a superb job.  Kris is as cute as a button, handsome as sin, and just a very humble acting young man.  

Just wanted to share the pictures that I took that night.  No, I didn't ask to take a picture with him.  But I did extend a hand and tell him I really enjoyed the show.  (He had a very warm hand and a firm handshake!)  The opportunity presented itself to meet Tracy and Anne as well.  What extremely talented, nice and friendly entertainers they were and I was so impressed by both.  It's unbelievable that all three were at a table following the performance, available to sign CD's, visit, take pictures and not charging a month's salary like is seen now at Creation Entertainment photo ops.   Very refreshing.  

If they tour in your area, I highly recommend the show.  It'll feed the holiday spirit.

Thank you Mr. Brickman, Mr. Allen, Mr. Silverman and Ms. Cochran.  What a wonderful evening!

Mr. [Austin] Nichols Goes to Washington! Or Did He?

Usually when a trip is taken and shared with friends and family via social media, personal text messages, or a photo album, we may caption that pictorial representation with a humorous comment or a simple label of identification like, "Mt. Rushmore".   And since we were actually present, the chances are that the label would be correct.  Meaning, we don't caption a photo of the Grand Tetons with "the Smoky Mountains" because you know where you were.

So if one were to go to Washington D.C., the national monuments and iconic buildings are easily identifiable:  Washington Monument, the Lincoln Memorial, the United States Capitol, Thomas Jefferson Memorial, the National Mall, the White House...

For instance, this is the White House.

One should know when one is in the White House, correct?
Unless you are Austin's beard, Chloe Bennet, I guess.

Bennet "forgot" she was across the street at the Eisenhower Executive Office Building.  Notice the innocent comment in the middle of the thread by Mr. @danielfeeney1138 with the correction:

"Eisenhower Executive Office Building really.  The house is across West Executive Ave."

Looks like Austin wanted to place himself in Washington D.C. with Bennet the latter part of this week.  And why would that be?  Could one of the reasons involve Jake's movie, Nocturnal Animals which opened in wide release on Friday, Dec. 9?

Then there's the geographical matter of Jake being announced to appear on Good Morning, America in New York City the morning of Friday, Dec 9.  Instead GMA tweets about guests Ryan Gosling and Brett Eldridge on their show that morning.

Where was Jake? He was heard on IHeartRadio being interviewed via phone with Ryan Seacrest.   

So Austin was not the only one misrepresenting his location this past week.  Jake was as well.  Looks like non-disclosure agreements and image rights contractual clauses were in full enforcement.

We Extend Our Deepest Condolences to Louis Tomlinson on the Passing of His Mother, Johannah

From the BBC:

Johannah Deakin passed away on Wednesday at Sheffield's Royal Hallamshire Hospital.

Earlier this year she was diagnosed with an aggressive form of the blood cancer and had been at a hospital in London since May.
She had seven children and worked as a midwife. Her partner Dan said in a statement that "she would always look to put other people before herself".

He's due to perform at The X Factor final on Sunday, which is still thought to be going ahead.

The family statement on Johannah continues: "She desired nothing more than for everyone around her to be happy and loving.
"She worked tirelessly on numerous charity campaigns, creating memories for many individuals and their families.

The family also thanked University College London Hospital where Johannah had been treated since May and the Royal Hallamshire Hospital in Sheffield, where she'd been cared for during her final weeks.

As well as 24-year-old Louis, Johannah leaves behind six other children - Lottie, 18, Felicite, 16, plus two sets of twins, Phoebe and Daisy, 12, and two-year-olds Ernest and Doris.

Rest in peace, Mrs. Deakin.   It looks like you did a wonderful job raising your children.  You had every reason to be so proud. And now another life journey begins.

A Study in Ease - A Study of Jake and Austin

 

What would it be like if we were to view these pictures with the enlightening Sister Wendy? I wonder what she would see?  With the exception of Brandon Fuller's "Leadville", one can see how Austin tends to withdraw a bit, disappear...

Notice in the first three pictures the way Austin's head is down.  He is quiet or involved in something while Jake chatters on.   He's comfortable with himself while watching or listening to others, while Jake likes to be an active participant.  

I like what looks to me like the opposite sides of their personalities.  It is this snap and lock relationship that has persevered for so long, that has continued despite all of the naysayers, despite all of the attempts to breed rumors to the contrary.  

Love and art is in the oblivious.  Love and art is in the comfort and ease.  Love and art is in the quiet, humdrum, and serene.

The Shirt - aka Jake Gyllenhaal's Mr. Darcy Moment

You know how a particular picture of your fave (or one of) sticks in your memory more than most of the others?  Well, this paparazzi pic of Jake is one of those.  

Back on December 6, 2006, Jake was papped at a place called Orso's in Los Angeles and whether it was the sunlight or the paps' flash, something caused that Whoa! moment.  In two of the four total pictures, the sky looks overcast. But hard to say what the mysterious X factor was. Perhaps it was just the man himself. Anyway, no further words necessary.
