Back on May 4 of this year, this tweet appeared, the author perhaps in a time warp and thinking he was still in 2010:
— SpongeBob (@SpongeBLaugh) May 4, 2017
Hmmm. Weird. But even before @SpongeBob's love-gone-wrong reminder, there was another rather cryptic tweet:

It's not totally unusual to see one bumblehead tweet reminiscing about that zipline fauxmance, but two were worth a second glance.
Interestingly enough on the very same day that these tweets appeared, Jake posed for this picture:
Jake and a snake ring. And who is @loreerodkin? Looks like her Instagram profile mentions "couture, jewelry, eyewear, fragrance designer". Judging by the comment from @sunshineionianresort, the snake ring likely was designed by the Instagram poster.
For a moment, let's backtrack to 2016 and on July 14, this was the headline on a Glamour webpage:
Are the letters beginning to fall into place in this Wheel of Fortune puzzle?
August 26 of this year, here came the head-aimed brick:

Cue the planted tweets, lined up and ready to parade down Main Street:

Jake Gyllenhaal posted this picture in june, the speculated month Taylor shoot #LWYMMDVideo Imagine if he appears in the music video,Paul.— paul (@paul83421150) August 27, 2017

And just because it's Monday and light faire is needed:

Uh oh. Hold on. Hit the Pause. Go back!
Well, I think most of us know all too well that May comes before June and there seems to have been a few miscalculations regarding the filming date of Tay's video in correlation to Jake's snake ring modeling.
We'll wait and see if a tow truck can come bail the stunt car out of its little pothole, but in the meantime, Narnia thought we would show the timeline in its infancy stages.
This is how a stunt is laid out. Notice Jake's cameo appearance in his ex-beard's snake storytelling, has been in the plans for awhile. The Glamour post giving a heads up on the snake mascot, dated back to last year. There was just a slight quality control issue with the date placement.
Can we add that there will be accompanying snake jewelry in the marketing push? source
And now, this concludes our stunt timeline tour. As you leave Narnia, for your fresh cleansing and revitalization, please feel free to take one of these:
Thank you!
