All The King's Horses...Day 9

THIRTY DAYS OF TOOTHY TILE, GREY GOOSE AND THE BABY TILES
DAY 9

Jake used to have many public friends back in the day, actors and musicians he often would be seen with in a variety of social settings. For the purposes of this post, one of those recognizable celebs happened to have been actor, Robert Downey, Jr., who Jake had made a movie with in 2006 (Zodiac).

At the beginning of Jake's bearding contract with Reese Witherspoon, RDJ, was seen with the "happy couple" back in January, 2008 right after Heath Ledger had died and later towards the end of the year on several occasions around the holidays.  In addition to the Los Angeles based sightings, one of those late year get-togethers took place in London, in November, 2008. On this particular occasion, however, the world might never have known about the social gathering if a regular reader of Narnia's sister blog, OMG, had not favored us with an exclusive pic of Jake, RDJ and his wife, Susan at a restaurant. A photo that just so happened appeared to support the Baby Tile rumors that were circulating at the time.

Now, why would a photo of these three dining out in London be such a revealing insight into Jake's rumored fatherhood? Besides the fact that "girlfriend," Reese Witherspoon, was mysteriously nowhere in sight. Maybe if we take a closer look we might see what was so exciting about this seemingly unremarkable photo. Although Beanie Jake never ceases to be special.

Well looky there! I do believe that just might be a baby's jacket lying next to RDJ. And a designer one at that because that black fabric contains the cutest Humpty Dumpty pattern ever.

No one could deny that Jake was quite the fashionable gent back then. A man with a keen eye for flair. But, somehow I just don't think the dimensions of the pint-sized stylish accessory spread out on that restaurant booth quite matches Jake's physique, do you? *wink*

Oh, and by the way RDJ did not have his first baby with Susan until 2012, four years later. Still what better way to sneak a baby into a public venue than to have a willing accomplice or two, just in case an awkward word might escape the little ones lips. I wouldn't be surprised, in fact, if a nanny was there that night as well. She probably got up with the baby to go to the restroom and that's when the person took the picture that was sent into OMG. By November, 2008, Baby Tile would have been thirteen months old. The whimsically designed, nursery rhyme themed jacket a perfect fit for a one year toddler.
