The historical moment of the first landing on the moon
And then?
And then came .....
The Lakers photos. February 11, 2006, a day which will live on in infamy.
On this evening in February, Jake and Austin together and courtside, created a remarkably commented upon, endeared phenomena. They were a feel-good, "all natural" twosome.
I think that qualifies them as a wonder.

I know that these were the first photos of these two together that I ever saw. And they were just so cute and fresh. Looking at them again and listening to Chaka Khan's "Love Me Still" in the background is pretty touching.
Yeah, it's a little cheeky, but you know, the Laker photos came out when the gossip internet was really taking off and you had lots of comments from folks who just loved these photos.
Now you have selfies and cell phones everywhere and Instagrams. These pictures were really before all of that. And they created such a stir that Jake's publicity team had to issue a statement and deny that there was "nothing to see here", that they were not a couple, blah blah blah.
And that was the whole end of that. Jake's team then sent him to the Lakers with Witherspoon and they did a horrible kiss cam. Then Austin was sent to a Lakers game with Sophia and that was dreadful looking.
You can never beat the original, real deal.
I love that Austin was flashing Big Blue and how worn out Jake's shirt is - that collar is all kinds of worn out, isn't it? lol.
Like so many photos and video clips of Jared and Jensen together, with their eyes lit up and smiles ear to ear, people know when they're seeing love and it is incredibly heartwarming.
Jake & Austin, Jared and Jensen. Two pairs of old school'ers, but you know, I have seen the magnetism of a Jared and I've seen the mystery of Austin, the professionalism of a Jensen, heard the gentle voice of Jake all in person. And the fact that these two pairs are still together speaks a lot about what they have despite all of the challenges they've faced.
These were epic !!!
